Review for Nilo for Party Lighting and Star Wall at ~300 person Persian/American Jewish wedding at…read moreLaguna Cliffs Marriott in June 2025 Nilo did an amazing job with the party lighting and star wall at our wedding. We contacted him relatively last minute for our wedding after seeing his work at a walkthrough at our venue. He did a great job coordinating with our DJ, and setting up party lighting that complimented our overall decor, and the vibe of our music. The real star of the show, though, was the star wall! We are so happy we decided to add this on, it was a great way to up the vibe of the event with a simple addition, and still having it feel natural. We got so many compliments on it, and it really added to the dance party vibe! We'd hire Nilo again for a similar event in a heartbeat!!

If you're thinking about hiring David Pressman, do it. You won't regret it. He was the planner for…read moreour wedding in Los Angeles, and I truly can't imagine pulling it off without him. If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the day after our engagement and hire David immediately, before all the spreadsheets, stress, or emotional support Google Docs. At our first meeting, I unloaded all my anxieties: juggling a dozen vendors, last-minute changes, people-pleasing, remote planning from the opposite coast.... I was on the verge of a full Jack Nicholson in The Shining moment. Thankfully, David cleared every logistical hurdled with grace and always came to meetings prepared with practical solutions that supported my vision. For the first time in months, I could finally breathe. David isn't just organized and experienced. He's diplomatic, calm under pressure, and genuinely cares about the people he works with. On top of all that, he's hilarious and made even the most chaotic moments feel manageable. Every vendor raved about him and often told me, "Don't worry, David's on it." He managed each relationship seamlessly, especially with the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where he's a preferred vendor for good reason. I'd always heard that a planner is the best investment you can make for your wedding (and your sanity). Based on our experience, it's absolutely true. On my wedding day, my partner and I were guests of honor, rather than frazzled hosts scrambling behind the scenes. That peace of mind was priceless. David is worth every penny and then some. If you want someone who will advocate for you and bring your vision to life while keeping you grounded, hire him. Yesterday.

And it certainly didn't hurt that both my mother and my husbands mother loved him because he was so incredibly easy to work with!! Imagine that you are planning your wedding and the amount of details is overwhelming. Suddenly…read morethree magical uncles appear and say, "relax, we're going to handle everything and it's going to be wedding of your dreams." That's Thom, Greg, and Craig at Bravo and they are simply wonderful. I cannot recommend them highly enough. All our church friends can not stop talking about how they transformed the gymnasium-like parish hall into something beautiful. We didn't know it was possible. My wedding had a medieval tone, so they found an enormous, beautiful painted backdrop of a medieval cathedral interior and covered a wall with it. They banished the harsh overhead lights and used ambient light on the walls to create this glowing amber light accented with high candelabras on all the tables. It was magic. They also hung lights on all the trees in the church courtyard, which made it a beautiful environment for the champagne toast. Bravo made everything more beautiful than we imagined it could be. Craig is a first rate chef. I've gone to expensive restaurants and not had food this delicious. We keep getting compliments on the food from our friends. We also appreciated the timeline, revised and updated daily, to cover every aspect of the planning and execution of our wedding day. They also had ready answers for all our questions about wedding etiquette. This was an enormous help. I also want you to know that they came in under-budget. The guys at Bravo made us feel loved and cherished and that it was their personal mission to give us a unforgettably wonderful wedding day. I wish for anyone reading this the joyful wedding experience that Bravo gave us.
