What drew me in during my first meeting with Angela was how welcoming she was. You can feel the warmth of her spirit before she even speaks a word.
Needless to say, Angela is likable and friendly. She is a straight-shooter, and she'll always deliver both good/bad news with a tone that is soothing to the ear. I also trusted her words and work-ethic to reflect her resourceful personality. She usually knew her stuff, and always followed through when she had to do a little research. She challenged me with feedback and encouraged me with positivity. I knew that I could trust her like a coach.
One of the things that made the largest impact for me was how Angela has a fierce loyalty to her client. My confidence in her was founded in the belief that she had my back and that she always had my best interest in mind. During my process, I included my parents on occasional meetings or open-houses. Angela never wavered from drawing the line between who her client was and who wasn't, and she always did so respectfully (my parents loved her for it). In a similar fashion, I also appreciated that she always kept lines of communication clear and direct between me and anyone else we came to work with (trade partners, lenders, etc).
A good review wouldn't be honest without the balance of sharing an area for improvement. For example, Angela sometimes tried to deliver news gently with a lot of words when I just needed to hear it from her "straight-up". My encouragement to you is to be patient, yet direct, about how you want her to communicate with her. She is very accommodating to adapt, and we had great conversations that helped our chemistry and search strategies. While she defaults to be "soft and gentle", thankfully, she never danced around the point and I always appreciated her effort to treat me like a human being and not a cash register.
I would highly recommend Angela as your agent. She'll be great to work with one-on-one, and with the whole family. I could easily go on, but this feels like a good place to drop the mic.
Good luck, Angela! read more
