The service is appalling and I would strongly recommend not to use Angela O'Connor or her daughter Elizabeth although I believe Elizabeth no longer does interior design but she is the one I would have dealt with initially. They don't answer their phone, return phone calls when messages have been left or deal with their customers face to face. I have tried year after year to resolve an issue face to face regarding bad workmanship in my home. I wasn't trying to get them to cover the cost, I was prepared to pay whatever was necessary to have things fixed. Unfortunately I was unable to to do so. Postal mail worked but it had its limitations and the next step would be the small claims court. However, this isn't a route I would choose. I would much rather they spoke to me either face to face or by phone and together we could work at resolving the problem. I think they have a mindset that as soon as a customer complains they automatically think the customer wants them to foot the bill and then they avoid the customer in every way possible. Instead, if they were professional enough, they should talk to the customer, ascertain the issues, and come to an agreement that is amicable to them and the customer.
They have put me off using interior designers for life and that's a shame as I am sure there are many more out there who would not only do the job, but would also treat their customers in a professional manner.
I've never written a review before and it saddens me to have to do so but the service has been so bad and their unwillingness to communicate so unprofessional. As a customer I feel badly let down by their service. read more
