I was visiting Palm Springs from the Bay Area for a short vacation getaway and as a frequent thrift store and vintage shopper decided to give this place a shot. I saw some YouTube videos on this thrift store and saw others review it so I thought on my tight timeline I would visit. Let me say from the moment we walked in we were immediately greeted and the store was spacious, bright, clean, and well organized. The womenswear was in the front with a section designated for "designer" clothing. That is were I found or should I say MY Mother found the very first score a current season Kate Spade eyelet tie-waist shirt dress! Originally $ 400.00 I got it for $ 35.00! In amazing condition too in the cheery geranium color. I also found a new designer obsession too a vintage David Hayes dress. It was an epic fitted red dress with a hammered textured button. I found out the late designer had clients such as Zsa Zsa and Ava Gabor, Audrey Hepburn, Linda Evans, Joan Collins, Nancy Reagan, Linda Evans just to name a few. I found the prices to be reasonable to inexpensive for the brands as well as quality. I bought a vintage beaded black sweater for $ 11.99 and a beautiful black simple gown priced also at $ 11.99. The men's section is at the back of the store. I did venture back there briefly to check it out. The clothing looked nice and well organized. There is only one dressing room/restroom but we didn't wait long for a chance to try on. I wish I could remember the lady who was working there while my Mother, sister, and I was shopping. She was kind, helpful, and really attentive with her service. I hope to return the next time I visit Palm Springs! read more

This is our first trip to Palm Springs. I totally regret bringing the sedan instead of the SUV! The furniture prices are amazing. There was an incredible round glass table and upholstered wooden chairs for $300! And beautiful side chairs for $45. We got some books and puzzles and vintage costume jewelry. Very reasonably priced. My cousin wanted to go thrifting this weekend so I decided to join her not really knowing much about thrifting but excited to see what we could possibly find. As soon as we walked in I ran straight to the book section and I was honestly overwhelmed with how many good books they had and in how good of a condition they were not to mention how amazing the prices were. I bought eight books for the price of what I would normally pay for one book and they were all in amazing condition. I also found a really cute shirt and my cousin found some good stuff as well. Have heard nothing from Angel View review...worthless organization!! Lucy C. 02 4/27/2024 My husband accidently grabbed my bag with all of my nice shoes in it, ready to go back to Michigan the next day..without looking he dropped them off at Angel View, Palm Springs.. I returned home within an hour and discovered he delivered the wrong bag so we immediately drove over there..one gentleman remembered that he had been there the hour before, but the manager J did not..why? My shoes were not to be found anywhere in the store..delivered the hour before. According to Manager J things are processed immediately ..however an hour does not seem reasonable.. J seemed very defensive, and did not she or anyone look for the bag he had left..I do believe that the missing bag was now in her car to be taken home..new and slightly used shoes, women size 6...there were about $800 of shoes , 8 pair ,that have disappeared in Angel View.. I would suggest to not go there.....I have not received any satisfactory help from anyone there..so sad that they really don't care that this happened..even tho on their phone line it does say.. did you accidently drop of items.. Prices are way up again. Prices on clothes for used are higher than going to Walmart and buying the same shirt new. I don't get it. Glass baking dishes higher than going to Target and buying it new. Lovely, organized, reasonable cheap prices, friendly staff. Paid $67 for 9 items. Looks more like a little boutique than a thrift shop, especially their room with dresses in it. It was 1 minute walking distance from my hotel "Movie Colony" which is also right by the Triada hotel and The Colony Palms Hotel and Bungalows. I went there right before my flight back home. If I were a local, I'd go weekly to see their new arrivals. read more

Forewarning, it was warm in there, it's basically a small warehouse towards the back so it get a bit stuffy especially with the mask policy enforced. I came here with my mom to go shopping and the manager told one of his employees to sit right next to my dressing room and watch me treating me as if I was trying to steal something. It's just OK, not with an "A". This store needs to be cleaned and organized. It was such a mess my first and only time here. I almost walked out because it gave me a not-so-good feeling but then I saw a whole back area with furniture and kitchen stuff and art, so I stayed and shopped. I saw many items overpriced but a few were fair (like mens t-shirts for $1.99). I noticed that some sets of dishes were individually priced rather than just one price for the set. The first thing I wanted to look at was music CDs but the way they have them displayed made it too difficult. The price tag on CDs is covering the titles on the edge side, so you have to pull out each CD and look at the cover to see what it is. That's so dumb. We bought some shirts. I don't think we'll be back. This area has many other thrift shops that are clean and organized. read more

There's a great selection here and of course it's always treasure hunting time. We spent maybe a half hour here on a Saturday and not one person that worked there spoke to us. One guy even kinda gave me a crappy look- up by the register and I have no idea why. Angel View was founded in the city of Desert Hot Springs. For 15 years I have shopped in the store on Pierson and also dropped off countless donations. Now that I've sold my home I needed to donate furniture. I called regarding picking the furniture up and have been told Angel View does not pick up donations in the city of Desert Hot Springs. This city is their headquarters! They will pick up donations in every city in the Coachella Valley, but not in their city that they were founded in and where their corporate headquarters are located, Desert Hot Springs.
