I sent my daughter here with a friend. I ran errands while they got their nails done. They both got a full-set $40 for gel & acrylic nails. Not a bad price at all. Girls for their nails done, we all went home. The same night my daughter was able to rub the gel polish off her fingers. Not sure how she figured that one out but it was all just rubbing off as shown in picture. What a complete waste of money. Hoping black nail polish does the trick. I won't allow her to get her nails fixed since we're under quarantine. This is disappointing. My daughter mentioned that the guy doing her nails was on the phone the whole time. When it came time to do my nails, the guy nail tech with the glasses applied my acrylic so thin and bumpy, i knew it would break within hours. My pointed nails were crooked and uneven. He proceeded to start on the designs and he did not try at all. The lines were sloppy, smudged and just terrible. I had to ask him a few times to wipe it and try again, but he was still sloppy. While he was doing my nails he needed to sneeze and he took off his mask to sneeze out into the open. Not even into his arm. During a pandemic. When it came time to pay, I was not happy with the nails at all. I asked if I can pay half price because I didn't want to pay full price for sloppy work that I was not happy with. He argued with me telling me to go somewhere else for my nails, and trust me, im not coming back nor are my friends and family going there. This is a business based on artistry. Called to make an appointment at 1pm for a 5 pm nail filling and a pedicure . Got to the place they started on my toes the girls were super kind and nice the owners seem to not know how many people they had or their availability. I waited For 15 min after my pedicure was done to find out they couldn't do the manicure according to them because they were about to close and had no more time . I left the place incomplete . I wish I could give this salon zero stars. Here's what happened today: I called the salon at 12:07pm and spoke to the owner to ensure I could be seen without a wait in ten minutes for a gel manicure. He said to come on in. I was there in ten min. He told me to soak my nails to remove my gel polish. After 15 min of soaking my nails, the polish was 90% removed. I told the owner I wanted someone to remove the rest with a scraper so that I didn't have to soak my hands in acetone and cause them to become dry. He told me to soak for another 10 minutes or remove the nail polish myself. I explained to him that I came to a salon so that someone could work on me and that I'm not at home and shouldn't be doing this myself. He told me to go wash my hands instead!! In the meantime a woman came in AFTER me (without an appointment)for a gel manicure. Instead of coming to work on me, he started working on her. Leaving me to wait for 45 minutes sitting around doing nothing! After 45 minutes of waiting, a young girl came over to do my nails. She tried, but unfortunately she did not do a good job. My nails are uneven and poorly polished. It looks like I did my nails myself in poor lighting. I paid the $25 that a gel mani costs and tipped the girl. I walked in at 12:15pm and left at 1:50!! Besides the fact that I paid for horrible customer service and a poor manicure job, what bothers me the most is how much time I wasted in the salon. Absolutely horrendous customer service!! I went to get my nails done 3 times here. First time with lee & he did a good job. The 2nd time I had his wife doing my nails. I told her a few times that my nails weren't even or the same shape she said okay & never fixed them. I left with nails were a waste of money. With me trying to give this establishment another chance I went yesterday and got my nails done by lee. I told him I needed my nails alittle shorter he laughed at said why long nails no good. I told showed him exactly how short I needed and he went far below. When I mentioned to him about it he proceeded with the other nails & to them to the length I needed. After him starting to put gel on my nails I have told him that one nail was dripping before I could tell him he yelled at me & assumed that I was touching them. He told me to leave it because he knows what he's doing. Before putting on the gel I mentioned in the beginning that the on nail he cut below needed to match. He told me it's fine no one will notice meanwhile it was. After he put on the gel I mentioned that he never fixed my nail. "I thought you knew what you were doing". After saying that he had an attitude the rest of the time. He even double layered my pinky because he didn't want to fix it correctly. His wife was doing someone else's nails while I was there & the client left because he nails weren't being done correctly . The wife says oh she looks at everything. Aren't we suppose to? We are paying money for this. All in all I will not be coming here again & I don't recommend anyone to come here. They are rude, don't listen to what you ask & when you tell them something they act like a your wrong or they acknowledge what you say and continue anyways. Shame read more

The staff i found very pleasant.. i read some of the reviews about them being rude and it wasnt the case. They were friendly and accommodating. LEE did a good job with my fill-in amd made sure i was pleased with the shape. ROSIE did a good job with my Pedi and fixed whatever i asked her to. Shes very personable!! Dirty! They don't sanitize the manicure tools. After she put oil on my nails, I felt gross and they don't even use warm towels. She asked if I wanted a paper towel to wipe my hands so she gave me the dirty one that was used through the manicure in the table. I've been looking for a good nail place since I moved to the area. And i heard about this place from a friend of mine who has gone here a few times. So i thought I'd give them a try since my job at the time was literally 2 minutes away. I've been here twice already. They are very clean and the staff is friendly. The first time, my nails were done by a guy who i believe is the owner. He did an awesome job! Very quick but very nice and he fixed every "complaint" i had. He made sure i was very pleased with my nails. My pedicure was done by another girl. She did a very good job as well. She even removed the gel nail polish on my hands and prepped them for the owner to do my refills. The second time around my nails were done by one of the other girls. She did my pedicure which I'm happy with. But my nails on the other hand, i was not too happy with. I mean they aren't BAD but they could definitely be a lot better. Now as she was removing my nail polish, i thought she was just prepping my nails since that is what happened previously. But she proceeded with doing my refill. I thought she was doing fine until she started filling them down. They weren't completely even. I was already late for work so i just let them be. Overall I think i found my go to nail salon . I would just request one of the owners to do my refills from now on. Regular manicure/pedicure the other girls would be fine. But refills def one of the owners. Oh and the pricing is a little more than what I'm used to but they do good work so it equals out. read more

Only reason I gave a star because the women in charged was very professional and acknowledged my compliant. I went for a pedicure and all I can say is either go elsewhere or do it yourself. She cleaned my cuticles on only left foot, but not the right foot. She totally forgot to paint a base before putting the polish on. The worst thing wash how she polished my toes. My 10 year old could do a better job. Once I told her this is not neat. She got so upset and started speaking in her language and throwing stuff. I keep short nails. I do not wear nail polish. I came in for mani/pedi no polish. Just file nails & cut cuticles. I brought my own manicure items. She started my nails then informed me that she couldn't do them because she is used to fake nails & only wants to use her own nail clippers, file, etc from her salon. I was like "what"? You should be able to do all kinds of nails.... This was easy money, no polish, all i ask is you lightly file my short nails & cut cuticles.....she wanted to plow through file the hell out of my nails & treat them like artificial nails. They are not. They are natural nails which just need a little TLC & light nail file, manicure & pedicure. I didn't want them treated like an assembly line of plastic nails.. I have used them in the past & have never left truly satisfied in all honesty. I won't go back...I went up rt 9 a couple miles & they have no problem giving me the service I requested instead of acting like I was asking for the moon. UPDATE to owners reply: Owners rebuttal is funny, since she had no problem STARTING my nails with my own manicure kit & files, but after the first couple nails she butchered & Was fast & rough with & I would not let her get away with treating then like fake nails, then she refuses service but ONLY explained it was my natural nails she wasnt used to that were the problem she made absolutely NO mention of bringing my own tools which i bring to every nail salon always & never a problem, so pay attention ladies if you want to bring your own bacteria free & fungus free & filth free files & clippers you will be denied service here according to owners own statement. I dont take risks with my health especially since sometimes they cut wrong making my cuticles bleed during a manicure & unless they have an autoclave which is used in hospitals they arent killing that. I've recently moved to the area and have been struggling to find a good nail salon. I tried out Angel nails to due the proximity of my home and recommendations on Yelp. I walked in on Saturday morning at 11am. Now in my experience, nail salons on Saturday mornings at 11am are packed so I was prepared to wait. To my surprise there were about 3 people in the entire salon. I chose my color and sat down immediately. The girl doing my nails must have not been feeling well because she was groaning the entire time, which made me feel very uncomfortable. She pulled her tools out of a pocket in her purse and didn't even think to sanitize them! I loved the color I chose but she did not do a great job painting them, as there is polish all over my cuticles and there are bubbles on multiple nails. The salon is very nice and clean, so I will certainly give them another shot, just with a different person! read more

It started off with waiting for an hour to get a pedicure and manicure with the two girls running around trying to get everyone done. They did not clean the pedicure tubs or even change the utensils as I sat there. They continued to use tubs ones 4,5,6 knowing that they had not been clean and didn't even change the towel! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Worst experience I ever had in a nail salon in my life. Made appointments and traveled to come here with a friend. Asked for manis and pedis. They seated us and started working on my friend while the owner texted on her phone ignoring me. My friends pedicurist was filing her so aggressively she made her bleed and shrugged her shoulders "sorry." My feet eventually became pruned and my friends pedicure was done and still no one had talked to me (while they started serving other customers). I angrily told them I didn't want a pedicure anymore as the point was to go through the process together. They finally took us both for manicures and neither person helping us knew what they were doing. My manicurist ended up needing instruction on how to properly file nails and painted all over my skin while my friends filed her nails dangerously sharply and asked her to apply her own top coat. I went here to get my nails done and this is the worst pedicure I ever received in my life. Instead of the nail lady (older woman) doing what a nail profession is suppose to do, I had to guide her through the process. I had to even tell her to clean inside my nails. Who does someone's pedicure and all you do is cut the nail and file the nail? She even put lotion on without drying my feet before hand, which led her to then wiping the lotion off with a towel because it wasn't going anywhere. Now on to actually polishing my nails, which resembled a 1st grader. For one, she was polishing my toes with a brush that was clearly distorted which caused the look of the polish to be rough looking with streaks. When I suggested that the brush is messed up, she said "yea, you're right." So she was going to keep polishing my toes and send me off my merry way knowing it looks horrible. Very professional right? It was beyond sloppy. The owner came and redid 2 toes which was no help at all. I expressed I was not satisfied but she acted like it was nothing she can do. Jersey friends, NEVER go here! My friend and I made appointments for mani pedis. They started my pedi and we asked twice when someone was going to start my friend. My nail tech filed my toes so aggressively I started bleeding. So meanwhile I'm done and my friend didn't even get the pedi. We both move on to manicures. The nail tech left the corner of my nails razor sharp. The polish looks like it was put on by a child. Nail polish all over my friends skin, and mine is bumpy. Then I go to the dryer- she sits me down and tells me to put on the top coat after my nails are dry. I guess she saw the disgust in my face because she put the top coat on for me. We get up to leave and the tech comes back over to spray that quick dry stuff on my hands and feet. I tell her not to spray my feet because she cut my toes- and she sprays my feet. Then I go to pay and I tell the manager I'm not paying full price, she cut my toes. He looks at me with shit face, looks at my toes and says he doesn't see anything. I said are you kidding me? He says I can do $25 (5 discount) so I said fine. Then he started that we were late ( which we weren't) and continued to argue with my friend that this is our fault because we were late- which has nothing to do with terrible manicures and bleeding toes. You MUST READ this! I came to Angels Nail salon to get my nails and toe nails done couple of weeks ago. My toes got done by a girl and when she was ready to do my hands, she had put my hands into acetone for like 5 min until the owner told her to go and take care of another customer while I was sitting in the chair with acetone in my hands. So I thought she was going to come back in a few min but she never did because she was doing somebody else's nails. Then 30 min went by and my finger nails started to hurt me because of the acetone so I started removing the gel nail polish I had on my own (with my nails), finally the owner calls me and tells me he's going to be doing my nails so I go and he right away starts using the machine to remove the gel on my nails very hard; I told him to please be gentle because my nails are thin and my hands have been in acetone for over 30 mins. He said "no problem, I won't hurt you, I don't hurt anybody" but he kept hurting me because he was doing it fast and he was putting a lot of pressure on my nails ( when it wasn't needed) to remove the gel. I kept complaining to him to please use something else, another tool or the scraper, something that's not so strong like the machine because it was thinning my nails even more and it was hurting me. He said he always uses the machine and no one complained before. I told him I've been in acetone for more than 30 min and most of the gel is already removed because I did it with my own nails, so he didn't have to be so hard on my nails. He answered "oh, so keep doing what you were doing then, do it yourself!" I felt his answer was inappropriate, rude and that he gave an attitude. So I told him to please stop talking to me like that and to not give me an attitude. By then, I was feeling uncomfortable already and it got worse when he kept hurting my nails. So I said again to please stop and to use something else, but he kept being rude and answered "I don't hurt nobody, I don't hurt nobody" so at the end, he didn't finish cleaning up gel residuals (because according to him, I was complaining) and right away started applying the base coat. I told to please finish nicely on removing the residuals on my nail before applying the base coat. And he said "oh, u told me I hurt u!, so I stopped". At that point, I decided to just get up from the chair and told him I don't want anything anymore, I told him I can't stand his attitude and that he was being rude the whole time. He said ok so go! So I paid just the pedicure $20 and he wanted me to pay him $35 (manicure and pedicure) I said "how I'm going to pay the full price when u didn't even finish cleaning the gel residuals and you only put base coat on two of my nails" , so he said, "Sit so I can finish then" I said no, I don't want the service anymore, I told you don't know how to treat a customer and you don't know how to listen to a customer. I don't want anything anymore" so I left. I'm walking away from the store and I hear someone yelling on my back and when I turn around he was following me and the street plaza where the salon is located. He was yelling and saying things I couldn't even understand because of his Vietnamese accent but I yelled back saying "if you keep following me, I'm going to call the cops because you are harassing me!" And I kept walking with no direction, I didn't want to go in my car because I didn't want him to see which it is. So I walked and walked hoping he's not following me anymore. In conclusion, I would never go back to that nail salon, for so many reasons. The owner doesn't really care about the customers waiting for long time, their priority is making sales, that's why they take other customers at the same time and make other ones wait while getting the feet wet or putting their hands into acetone for a long time. Also the way he was treating me and how rude he was with his answers made me feel so discouraged and got me so upset, plus the most significant issue why I wouldn't go back is because I got scared when the owner was following me for not paying the full price of $35 when he didn't even finish the job in me. I used to LOVE this nail salon. Stopped going but eventually came back. First time back they did a great job. Second time the lady completely messed up my nails. I had gotten gel and matte done. The color was beautiful but up close you could see how 'bumpy' and uneven the polish looked. When I finally took the polish off, my nails were a disaster- it looked as if I had put on acrylic nails and ripped them off. I didn't polish my nails for a long time after. After a few months and a few different nail salons, I decided to give them a second chance. I had asked for the color changing gel. The lady rushed through. The color(s) didn't look right. One set of nails were slightly darker than the other set. The lady told me I should've told her sooner... except I didn't know/realize she wasn't doing anymore coats of polish. My nails started breaking. The GEL polish was chipping after just TWO days. After a week I had to get them fixed. I went to La Dea nails- they did an amazing job. read more
