Full disclosure, we only parked and walked a couple minutes in so not a full picture review. Very easy to park right off the road. Great spot to play in the water that's easy for kids to older adults with good balance to get to. Next time we'll take the time to keep hiking back inwards up the hill along the water. Probably an even better spot when it's not peak tourist season as well.

We visited Angel Falls last weekend (Oct). It wasn't easy to navigate to or find parking, but the place is truly beautiful and really fun for families. The weather was cool and so the water was way too cold to swim in. When we turned into the side, there was a left side (where road was closed off) and a right side that didn't look like much from the outside. The parking situation is pretty bad... we got there around 11am and took the very last spot (or open space, if you can even call it a spot). Don't come with your RV, you will likely get stuck, because we saw someone pull in and couldn't get out for a really long time. From the parking area, we walked along the left side where it kind of looked like a walkway, and soon got to the little kiddie pools people were talking about. Kids splashed around. Some family members did light hiking, there's a lot of rocks so need to be very careful. My son slipped in one of the kiddie pools and bumped his head in the back. 3 days later the bruise is still there. So be careful! The wet rocks can be slippery!

This review is for the kiddie pools, which is about 10min away (lower) from the Angle Falls. The entrance for the trail is tricky. If you are coming from the Pine Village, you need to turn right before you past the bridge. There was no sign that leads to the trail. Look at my first picture. I hope that will helps. We drove past it and had to turn around. We parked on the street and walked up to the trail. However, we saw tires marks on the path that lead to the trail. Once you are on the trail, just walk along the creek, you will hit the Kiddie pool after 5min walk. There was 2 ropes hanging and a local hiker told us, people swung and dropped to the pool. We did not see any at the time. We got stuck taking fun pictures at the kiddie pool. So we did not really go up to the falls as it was getting dark. Very pretty place! Steep hike with bug boulders to maneuver but very short one. Only 5min to the kiddie pools and another 10min (we were told) to the Angle Falls.

Beautiful views on the trail, but much more of a dangerous trail than we were expecting! Would not recommend for young children, dogs, or elderly. A sign at the trailhead said 1 person dies on it a year from slippery rocks. Definitely recommend hiking boots and poles if you go. The trail was poorly marked, so it was hard to find where to go at the base. We had to cross a fairly high up precarious damp log to stay on the trail (see picture). My parents ended up turning around because we didn't want to risk them on it while holding the dog. We didn't see any alternate crossings, maybe in drier seasons there is a different way to cross. At the top, you also have to cross on either a log or jumping over water on rocks to stay on the trail. Great views, glad we finished safely without any mishaps.

Beautiful short hike and worth the trip up... Many nice pools at base of the multiple waterfalls to relax and soak.. Trail is moderate in spot and can be slippery ect so be careful...

First thing first, come earlier to avoid the traffic jam. If u can park off road near bridge to avoid people jam packing in the parking and you can't get out again. Make sure you take the trail by the bridge. Go across the bridge and there should be a sign that says trail. Be prepared with good shoes and fluids for Hydration. I would recommend some beef jerky for sodium and protein since you will be using your muscles. The trail is in even and rocky at times. There is a lot of slopes so up and down. Good thing is that there is plenty of rest spots and nooks along the way so if you can't make it till the end, you can have a place to rest. If you can make till the end, you will see some fences and that's when you know you are close to the end. If you don't mind going down a somewhat steep slope at the end you come to a bed of flat rock pool hole that is great to play and swim in. Or just dip your feet in the icy cool water to cook off and numb those sore feet. It was very peaceful with the sound of running water. Good thing about getting to the end is that not many people try to get to the end so you can get the place to your self. But come early for the best hike. There's also plenty of beautiful plants along the way and small waterfall views.

Wow. Wow. Wow. It was insanely amazing. You can hike up both sides of the waterfalls or directly in the water. I think the water was low when we went because there weren't any strong currents. The rocks were kind of slippery. The pools were so fun to swim in. The only annoying thing was a group of guys blasting their music at the bottom of the falls and totally ruining the beautiful sound of nature--water falls hello?!?! Other than that it was amazing and I would go back. We went 2 days in a row.

You will park at a designated parking lot. The lot says you have to pay $10. There is an envelope and you write your license place number and name on it. It says to drop thr payment at a local store. I don't know if they check if you have paid or not. The trail head is not far from the parking lot. It will be to the left of you if you are facing away from the road. The trail is beautiful you start off along the river. You will hike along the trail for a short while then it dead ends and opens up to the road. You will cross the road and there is a sign that says trail, follow that trail. There is somewhat of a fork go to the left, you will cross a wooden "foot bridge". There is also a sign telling you to be careful on the slippery rocks. Then you follow the trail, it is easy to miss the turn off where the trail continues and goes up the mountain. At a point it goes up to the right and there will be another sign that says "trail". We missed it, and could not figure out where to go. Because the trail continues a long the river but then dead ends. We back tracked and realized there is another trail where we were supposed to turn and go up the mountain. It gets steep after you go up, but you get amazing views. It's worth the climb. This trail eventually dips back down and you are along the river again and get river access again.

I'd say this hike was medium to difficult, but we were able to get over rocks, stumps, and loose gravel with sneakers. The temperature and the time of day were just too much to bare and we stopped whenever we'd come across a small body of water. The water streams were quite peaceful. The wind brushing again the trees and birds chirping was just magical.

I started at the trailhead near Corlieu Falls, went north towards Red Rock Falls. It was a beautiful hike with some varied terrain going slightly uphill for parts of it. The fall foliage was beautiful, and it was nice to hear the running water all along the way. There is occasional highway noise since this runs parallel to the main road, but I didn't mind it. Went at 730a and didn't see another person for about two hours. Red Rock Falls was peaceful and beautiful. I went with a church group with 10 other men and we were greeted late at night by two guides that had the best attitudes even though we arrived super-late. They had everything ready to go at the campsite so we didn't have to worry about any gear and just go right to sleep. They took care of all of our meals, too. The next morning we took a 6-mile hike and went swimming in a mountain lake all the while discussing meaningful things in our lives to connect with one another. It was a real bonding and growing experience. We later did a 3-hour solo trip to be alone for 3 hours and really enjoyed it. The next day we went rock climbing and learned a great deal from the experience, much more than just rock climbing. We were only there for about 36 hours in total, but loved every minute of it. He is a self taught naturalist and gave us just the right mix of park history and insights into the floral and fauna.
