CAUTION: Irresponsible repair shop with highly aggressive employee. Paid money to get screen repaired, received faulty screen + damaged battery instead. I don't write negative reviews often, but this has been one of the worst consumer experiences I've had ever. Event: I brought a 6 month old phone with a cracked screen for them to repair; they promised multiple times that it was an original screen. In my rush to get it fixed, I did not verify. What I received afterwards was a screen with strong yellow tinge and streaks, with major heating issues and a battery that no longer worked - it discharges very fast and cannot last more than half an hour. The fingerprint unlock function also disappeared - not disabled, but disappeared. I went back to them, of course. I even went to BestBuy to compare it with the new phones on display to make sure I wasn't crazy. While I was liaising with Angel this whole time, who is always friendly, I was received by a man who they called the technician. He was rude, aggressive, and utterly dismissive; when I told him about the issue, he interrupted and told me that I had to get it verified that there was an issue. Then he asked me to take it up with the manufacturer, and say that they will refund only if the manufacturer refunds them (???). He refused to contact them for me, and told me that I can go to court if I wanted to. He completed denied responsibility. I was infinitely perplexed by this interaction, especially by the way the employee was trying to intimidate me. The story progresses over the next few days when the manufacturer denied that anything was wrong and a Google-authorized repair shop confirmed my findings. They offered to refund $60 of the $330 I paid for a service that was not rendered and a broken phone. When asked further about the authenticity of the screen, Angel denied that she ever said the screen was an original, even though I had screen shots of her words (she said it multiple times). Angel asked me to not contact her anymore and said they are only willing to settle this in court. It was an ugly incident. I have since paid another $500+ to have the screen replaced by an official repair shop AND the damaged battery, so I can actually just have a functioning phone. I have not received a refund to date. It was truly my mistake to have trusted them. They didn't even charge that much cheaper than the Google-authorized store - BEWARE! read more

I first encountered Angel at the Summer Night Market (formerly the Richmond Night Market) in Richmond, BC. First off, she is very nice and customer service is her game. And, no one beats her at her game. She offers many high quality accessories for iPad, iPhone 3G/3GS/4, iPod Touch, Blackberry 9000-9700, Nokia, and more. Accessories include many kinds of bumpers (iPhone), cases (hard/soft shell), batteries, screen protectors, power supplies, some headphones, and more. She even sells phones from Nokia and Blackberry and others. What sets her apart is that she gets regular shipments of new and interesting high quality accessories and sells them for a low price. The more you buy, the bigger discount you get. Repeat customer? She discounts for you. For example, my friend and I have seen her at least 4 times since our encounter at the night market. Today, we wanted to purchase the microsim cutter and adapters which are used for iPad/iPhone 4. She cut the original sim for us instead of having us pay for the device (which we would have gladly done because we want to make sure she is in business when we need her). The only caveat for some people would be that she is cash only but most accessories are between $3 and $25 CAD (with the average being between $5 and $15 CAD). Parking is available in front of the store (either 1 or 2 hour variety) but can be hard to find sometimes. There is a mall parking lot about 1 block south of her location. BEWARE! DON"T GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE! my IMEI got stolen was stolen when they were inspecting my phone long story: I took my phone in for a price quote. They told me the phone required $115 to repair the water damage. I said "no thanks" because my Nexus 5 is already one years old and buying a new phone might be a better option. It took them 30 minutes to return the phone back to me because they had to have someone pick it up at their location and bring the phone back to GOD KNOWS WHERE to inspect it. When I got home to plug in my phone, I noticed that I could not start my phone. I was able to use my phone because the inspection... how ironic. So I gave them a call regarding this issue, and they said the phone isn't starting because I couldn't charge it and that the battery had run out. I told them I could start the phone even when I plugged the phone to the charger yesterday..... So now I am stuck with a phone that needs repair, so I could get my contacts/pictures. My experience with Angel was great. I drove all the way from Coquitlam to purchase an iPhone 4 case & get a film cover for both the front and back of my iPhone. The whole experience was nice, she was friendly with great customer service as was her hired help and the price points for 2 films and case was excellent as well. All for $20. Replace my iPhone screen friendly staff services very fast only waited for 1 hour great shop

Called ahead of time to check whether they can unlock a Sony Ericson and change the menu to Chinese. They promised it can be done and will take 45 minutes. I showed up within an hour and they changed the estimate to an hour. I dropped off the phone and came back after that hour. But she made excuses again and said it will take another 15 to 20 minutes. For good measure I came back in half hour (this is an hour and 40 minutes after I dropped off the phone). Of course it's not ready. Finally I asked whether they've even started working on the phone and where the heck is my phone. Well it's nowhere to be seen. They've taken it to next door to another competitor shop and started giving me all sorts of excuse. I pressed for a real estimate of time and she started saying "they" claim it's another 15, 20 minutes and "she" can't promise any thing. I told her I gave her the business, not to the people next door. She merely repeated what she said earlier, without any sort of apology. In the meantime she did not offer to help or speed up the process. I waited for another 15 minutes and had to ask her to send a girl next door to find out what's happening. Finally she came back with my phone and nothing had been done to it. This is 2.5 hours after I dropped off the phone. I've had to go to this store 3 times and she did not even apologize once. She said because I wanted the Chinese menu she can't do it. Well it would be nice if you just tell me that when I called in the first place. Unless you want to waste an afternoon away without getting anything done, do not go to this place. read more

Friendly and helpful, it's about as much as you can ask for when looking for cell phone accessories. They have pretty much the same stuff you can find in the Night Market and those cell phone kiosks in the mall but with some OEM products as well. Tiny store packed full of great accessories. I paid eighty dollars for a replacement screen, protective film and unlocking of my IPhone today...phenomenal price and service considering that simply replacing the screen alone costs $200 plus tax at an Apple store.
