Don't understand the positive reviews...this place overcharges for their services. I've had three services here, two purchased through the black Saturday deal. Microneedling (175 deal, 350 regular) dermaplane (100), and the Genea facial (75 deal, 175 regular). Each of the services lasted about 30 mins and felt like a basic treatment rather than a luxury medical spa. The microneedling was more painful than other places I've tried. I also booked the Geneo with dermaplane add on, which was 60. But since I couldn't fit it in one appointment they charged me the full $100. I feel I've given this place a fair chance and can say it's not worth the price tag. read more

These women changed my life! I have worked with about half of the staff including Angel, and I've never been treated less than like a queen. I went to Angel in hopes that she would work out to be my regular aesthetician. There are several reasons why I left very disappointed and would not recommend her to anyone. 1. On three separate occasions I saw her she was late and had multiple bookings! This story could be very long, so I'll just say she is rude, doesn't apologize and blames her manager for messing up her schedule. 2. She's VERY evasive when you ask her about a regimen, about what the Mile High Makeover consists of, what treatments she recommends, what she does to maintain her skin, etc. I understand you can't tell much by seeing someone only a few times, but she almost tries to keep you trapped into purchasing her products (I'll stick with Skin Medica and Obagi, thank you). 3. Don't expect your consultation to be a consultation, go to Renu Laser and Skin Care and you'll see what a real consultation should be. 4. You'll be rushed. I don't need to be pampered because that's why I go to a spa every month, but clearly she is only in it for the money. She's not concerned about your skin or what you need as a client. 5. Speaking of money, make sure you wear your Hermès purse or Cartier watch because if she knows you have money she'll treat you much differently. The third time I saw her it was evident in the way she treated me. I can put up with my aesthetician running late, being more expensive, and maybe not even having the best bedside manner if she's that good, but the bottom line is there are so many other places that do exactly what she does. Angel's recommendations for my daughter's skin were made without taking the time to really find out what she needed. The products she recommended were far too harsh and burned my daughter's skin. The time she did spend with us was fast, abrasive and left my daughter crying about her face when we were done. When the products made the problem worse Angel did not offer another consultation to make it right she offered for us to pay for another visit or new products. Why would I do that? I just received the best facial I have ever had and this was my first time to Angel Aesthetics. I follow Angel on Instagram and my experience was better than I expected. I had Ali who did such an amazing job with my facial and she was very educated on what I should do with my skin. I really don't understand the bad reviews, the place was incredibly welcoming, everyone was sweet and professional, and Angel even stopped in during my facial to make sure everything was going ok. I was super excited to go to Angel Aesthetics for my mile high makeover but was sadly very disappointed by the professionalism of the staff. I was initially told that I would not be charged for a consultation if she ended up doing the procedure but then when I checked my credit card statement I was charged the $50 consultation fee. When I called to inquire I never received a call back. I had to email them twice then ask about it in person when I was there for my follow up and she said she would take care of which she never did until I sent yet another email only then did I get a response that told me i did owe the consultation fee because I never had a consult. During the procedure I was sent home with the wrong instructions. Again, I called and texted and sent a DM to angel and never heard back from them until I emailed a second time. The follow up and communication is lack luster to say the least. It was very disappointing to never get any responses and having to send multiple emails to actually get a response and the communication and policies vary person to person. I think the front office staff could definitely use some training! I will say I did enjoy my apt with angel. She was pleasant and talkative and not pushy on products. I do wish she would have spent a little more time informing me of what she would do with my skin as far as treatments and skin regimen. read more

My mother only received the treatments Angel was up to and when it came time to try to schedule the rest, she stopped answering any calls or texts my mom sent her. Angel is absolutely incredible - moving to Denver from out of state, I had a severe acne breakout on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose. I was struggling for two months and nothing was helping - I was devastated as I've never had acne before. I had a consultation with Angel that finally gave me hope. I scheduled a Hydrafacial ($175, 45 min) with Angel for my first appointment. She texted me that she would be 15 minutes late, which was fine. She then showed up at 10:30 for our 10:00 appointment. Once we got started, she told me I'd benefit from a dermaplane ($100, 30 min). So I agreed to adding the service. I assumed that because she was half an hour late to our appointment, that we would go half an hour past our scheduled time. She rushed the 1hr 15 min appointment down to a total of 15 minutes. I never received a an apology for her tardiness. When I asked about the shortened time she told me I pay for a service rather than time spent. My initial reaction was that this made sense. But then I wondered why she would allocate 1hr 15 min on my calendar and hers for something that only takes 15 minutes total. A $275 service should take more than 15 minutes (*i purchased with Black Friday and paid less). I feel as though I was manipulated and ripped off. I would have appreciated an apology for her being so late and to receive the full service I paid for. read more

Went for a consult which lasted 5 minutes. She didn't examine my skin up close which I've had done at previous consults in order to address relevant skin issues. Was sold a few products to take home, one such was a 3% overpriced benzoyl peroxide (you can buy the same thing at the grocery store for a fraction of the price) and another was a serum that was alcohol based which dried out my skin. I don't doubt that you can have good results from Angel as is seen by the before and after pictures but it wasn't the right place for me. read more

I had such high hopes for my experience here! I was really excited to meet Angel, and to get my first skin procedures done. I came in without a real idea of what I wanted- I wanted to be told what I need to do to accomplish the changes I wanted to see in my skin. My consultation appointment felt pretty hurried, and I was pretty taken aback by Angel's very unenthusiastic attitude about plans for my skin. I felt like i was having to pull opinions out of her on my skin and what I needed, and felt I had to keep asking her to really suggest and sell me on what I needed. She kept asking what procedure I wanted, or how many I wanted of that. And I kept answering somewhere along the lines of "I don't know, you tell me what I need?'. It just wasn't a conversation that left me feeling confident that Angel really cared at all about improving my skin o coming up with a plan I could be excited about. Ultimately, I settle on a chemical peel with dermaplane, and it was okay- but the same exact type of peel is half the price at actual Plastic Surgeon offices and other reputable places. I was ready to spend serious cash here- because I really passionate about making my skin amazing. Unfortunately, I felt my passion to create great skin wasn't matched here. The advice/direction is half the reason you go to an esthetician. Find someone who truly lights up and presents options to you when you tell them what you want to see. Customer service and ability to guide people more on selecting plans/procedures could improve. Bottom line: many places offer the same exact peels (Rejuve, etc) and can dermaplane. I'd find one where they really make you feel excited about the path you'll be taking to great skin. This isn't it. Side note- I got a little bit of side eye for being ten minutes late. I was late because the address on Yelp/Google maps is incorrect, which it is on the business to update that. Didn't get a single sorry for the fact that I was lost due to that. read more

Angel recently posted an instagram:" Hoetox: The tox addict, likes to move from one medspa to the next in search of low prices", with the caption "these heaux's aint loyal" below. Now I realize that this was meant as a joke, but...was it really? If Angel is truly confused as to why her patrons aren't loyal, maybe she should take a good long look at how she treats her clients. My experience is just that: mine. Maybe my experience is not typical, but I won't be returning to Angel Aesthetics. I am a very loyal consumer and willing to pay for services that I find valuable. Overall, I was left feeling like an inconvenience to Angel, not a valued client. I understand that medspa services are not cheap (nor should they be!), but when you pay this much for services, you deserve to be treated like more than an afterthought, especially in the cherry creek area of Denver. After seeing Angel's work on Instagram, I booked my $50 30 minute consult. The day of, I received a text from Angel saying she was sick and could we rebook? No Problem, I reschedule. Consult day: Running late, Angel hands me paperwork, then accepts a visitor and carries on a 10 min business conversation about a new hydro laser during my consultation time. I stand nearby and wait, she shrugs me off. When she finally takes me back and asks what my concerns are, I gesture towards my forehead, pointing to my sun spots, and she says "what? Your wrinkles, acne, or brown spots?"Ouch. Hello blunt. Okay, I roll with it. I laugh, say "all 3", and she gives me her recommendations for a Mile high makeover and botox. She mentions that if I book today I'll stay at her lower rate, as her prices will increase when she moves offices. I state my support/understanding, book for 2 weeks down the road so I'm still at the lower rate, and once we are booked, the conversation abruptly stops. 7 minutes into my 30 min appointment, she's poking her head out for her next client. I leave with slightly wounded pride, but hope that it will be worth it. Treatment day: Late again, Angel doesn't remember my name or what procedure(s) we're doing. She has me fill out a whole new consent form, asks how I'm feeling, and when I respond that I'm nervous, she blankly states "ok", and then leaves the room for 5 min. She finally returns, instructs me to lie down, and I ask a few questions about the laser/peel. I understand that these procedures are proprietary, but she answers tersly, either evading my questions or blanket stating "I'll tell you about all the after care after". She also tells me that this new office has cost her a trip to Mexico, which is where she was supposed to have been that day. Awesome. I have to remind her twice that I wanted to do botox, as discussed at my consult. She seems annoyed and rushed, I almost back out due to this, but she quickly injects me, then tells me that her MH makeover has increased by $200. I inform her that this was not what was discussed at our consult, she honors the original rate, but she's visibly annoyed. We book a follow up, she reminds me not to pick my face when it peels + to use aquaphor, then ushers me out to greet another client. Follow up: Late again, Angel pokes her head out, looks confused (as there are 3 waiting clients) and asks "you're here for a follow up?". I say yes, although I had realized I hadn't received a confirmation email. She states "that's because I didn't ACTUALLY have time for you, I just squeezed you unofficially in between a couple other appointments". Gee....thanks, I think? This whole "I'm so good I don't have to treat you like you matter" schtick is getting old. I consider leaving, decide to wait. We're both pleased with my sunspots, I'm still struggling with acne & some blistering from the laser, she informs me that the botox is still taking effect (3 wks later and I'm wondering if a)she injected as much as I was charged for or b)maybe she just didn't give me enough? The results are not as desired). She takes pics, then states that she typically does dermaplane to follow up, but it's $60 extra. She sighs when I agree (clearly this will put her further behind schedule), briefly explains the procedure as she's performing it, tells me I may have some redness & collects my payment, all within 10 minutes. I wish I hadn't done the dermaplane, as I'm now left with small postules and ingrown hairs all along my chin, jaw and cheeks. Lovely. Moral of the story: When you pay these kind of prices, you expect to feel cared for. Instead, I left each session with Angel feeling small, like I had somehow inconvenienced her. In hindsight, I wish I had moved on and found someone else to tend to my skin after the first (slightly insulting) consult, but that's my consumer error. I will not be returning to Angel Aesthetics. I would rather give my money to someone who will appreciate me, respect my time, remember my name...Call it "hoetox " if you will, but I'll be doing business with someone who actually deserves my loyalty. read more
