I've always driven past Eggmania whenever I was headed to Edison but never thought much of it…read morebecause I assumed everything was made with egg. My fiancé is a huge fan of EggMania so I decided to go with him. We got an egg dish, a paneer dish, and a drink. Everything was amazing! I usually don't eat eggs but I think I liked the egg lava fry more than the paneer sandwich! I loved all the sauces with the white bread they offered on the side. I also recommend getting the cold coco. I've never had it before but it's a really popular drink in India. It's like hot chocolate but thicker and made cold with a lot of chocolate chunks in it. Definitely worth it.

We came here…read morethis past week for my dad's birthday - he was wanting good food, especially beef, cooked Desi home food style - this spot did not disappoint! Everything tasted extremely fresh, flavorful, spicy, and like your favorite family member made it. There was a wait of 15-30mins when we got here on Saturday night - it is popular - and the service is busy but friendly. Ambiance is tidy and neat, but not a glamorous spot - if you're eating in it's because you care about the food not about the pictures. We ordered beef Nehari, beef behari, goat achari, goat pulao, veg butt samosa, beef bhi kebabs. Everything was 10/10

The staff mentioned they need to redo their menu, which I hope they do soon because it was a little disappointing how many dishes we couldn't order. Regardless, the dosas that we tried (Rava Masala and Pesarattu Upma) were good. I liked the variety of dips and chutneys that it came with (sambar, coconut, ginger, and peanut). The samosa chaat was okay, a bit small and didn't have any yogurt sauce. Hopefully they fix up their menu soon. There was another customer who came in and wanted to order one of the chaats, but was also sadly denied.

Yelp asks What could improve? Well - service, food, order time and courtesy…read more We arrived here with high hopes after checking the reviews and in a mood to get unlimited meals - all to weening off like a magic as time passed. One of the servers was kind enough to suggest one unlimited meals, jackfruit biryani and a butter dosa should be enough for two adults and a toddler and we were convinced this place prioritized customers over business only to never see him or that kind of diligence, again. First the dosa arrived but wasn't hot even little bit which meant it was never made freshly. The meals then arrived but did not have the papad which every restaurant serves regularly. When asked why it was missing to the other person who also took care of the front desk, without an expression of apology responded that the kitchen was busy that they didn't have the time to fry a papad which made us simply flabbergasted. The sides of curry (subzi) and the garlic rice didn't have salt evenly cooked on it and most of the sides were not even hot including the chapathi. Now all this happened with us regularly checking on when the biryani would arrive and 30 minutes into the order time, it finally did. A hot biryani that lacked any flavor or salt and was barely edible. All this happened while we were there before a peak hour even started or there was any crowd in this restaurant. The front desk person discounted the meals from the bill, but the train had already left the station by then. Now I'll leave it to you to decide coming here. I've 330+ reviews to my name at this point and I don't rate a restaurant even a star below 5 stars unless the service is extremely poor but for this place I leave it with just one star!

"Sultan was hired to cater a wedding at a beautiful venue, but unfortunately the food quality did…read morenot meet even basic expectations, let alone the standard of the event. Guests were served small, unappealing portions of meat, many of which appeared to be broken scraps, along with rice that was served cold. The overall presentation was disorganized and lacked professionalism. The food setup appeared rushed and poorly managed, creating an experience that felt out of place for such an elegant venue. The quality, aroma, and appearance of several dishes raised concerns among guests and became a major topic of discussion throughout the event. This individual identified himself as the lead vendor, and the catering ultimately became a source of embarrassment rather than a highlight of the celebration. Based on this experience, I would not recommend these services for a formal event."

I placed a to-go order for the Chicken Karahi and Malai Boti. The Chicken Karahi was very flavorful…read moreand filled my house with an amazing aroma as soon as I opened it. I ordered it mild, and the spice level was just right. It also came with a small side of raita, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the Malai Boti was very disappointing. It literally tasted like plain boiled chicken. There was no creamy malai flavor or richness at all, and it lacked the seasoning and texture I was expecting. It was a huge contrast to the Chicken Karahi. I would definitely order the karahi again, but I would skip the Malai Boti.

Even though it had just…read morerecently opened, it was already bustling, which made me so happy to see a new business thriving--and for good reason! I love supporting new restaurants, especially when they bring something special to the table. We were seated immediately, but I will say the service could use some improvement. It wasn't the most welcoming, and we had to wait a bit before someone took our order. That aside, we were excited to dig in. We ordered, Gol Goppay - Unfortunately, this was not a hit for me. It was way too salty and lacked the depth of flavor it should have. Kaptaan Karahi is the star of the show! The shorba, the masalas, the flavors--each bite had us fighting for more. Their chef knows exactly what they're doing, and this dish alone will bring me back. Lastly the Peshwari Naan - Another must-try! The size alone is mind-blowing (just check out my pics!), and it's made fresh in the tandoor. Slathered in butter, it's phenomenal. I'm already planning my next visit when I'm back in New Jersey. If you're looking for bold, authentic flavors and freshly made naan that's larger than life, this place is worth checking out!

Vasantha bhavan !!! Went here for dinner and I should say - it was disappointing.. it was empty when we went .. service was good .. and the food arrived in 10-15 mins .. lots of seats inside to sit and eat . Ambience was ok . Overall , the food had less salt and less pulippu .. it was kinda bland .. we ordered Sambar vadai . Sambar wasn't the original taste of Vasantha Bhavan Sambar .. less salt and tasted like "bachelor Sambar".. kothu paratha was average too. Less spicy and very bland . Coffee was good. We ordered chilly paneer to go and it was good . Kids liked it . Billing was quick . Good location ... heart of oak tree road . Parking available outside the restaurant.. average experience overall .. 3 stars .

It's an established brand in Chennai (India) & we were keen to check if it matched parent restaurants' taste/consistency. We were impressed. We ordered plantain Bajji, Idly & Rava Dosai & all 3 dishes were great. Located opposite Edison Patel, it's easy to club your grocery run with good food. Sambhar & chutneys paired well. We had a chance to talk to restaurant people & chef (as we went closer to opening time at 11 30 am) & they were mentioning that word is spreading around organically. I hope they are able to maintain taste consistency.

Since I'm vegetarian, I mainly tried the veg options. For appetizers, they had beetroot tikki and samosa chaat. The samosa chaat was honestly my favorite thing from the entire buffet. I really enjoyed it and went back for more. The beetroot tikki was okay. They also had tomato soup, but I didn't try it. The salad section had cucumber, tomato and onion slices, chickpea salad, small papad and dahi vada. I tried the dahi vada, but it was a little too sweet for my taste. For the main course, I really liked the lasooni corn palak and Punjabi kadhi pakora. The paneer tikka masala was okay, but didn't stand out as much for me. They also had gobi aloo adraki, which I didn't try. For rice, there was plain rice and veg pulao. I liked that they bring a basket of different breads directly to the table. It was a nice touch and we could enjoy the breads fresh with our meal. We also ordered Hakka noodles separately for my daughter, but they weren't really to her taste. For dessert, they had moong dal halwa and rasmalai. I tried the moong dal halwa, but found it a little too dry for my liking. I personally love moong dal halwa when it has that rich ghee flavor and texture, and I felt that richness was missing here. I didn't try the rasmalai. They also had tea, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Overall, it was a mixed experience for me. There were definitely a few dishes I enjoyed, especially the samosa chaat, lasooni corn palak and kadhi pakora. Kids eating free is a nice benefit, but I did find the buffet a little pricey for the selection offered. For the price, I was hoping for a bit more variety and a few more dishes that really stood out. It was an okay lunch experience overall, with some good dishes but also some room for improvement.

The appetizers were fresh and delicious, and the cooks preparing them as well as the waitstaff were extremely professional, attentive, and courteous. Unfortunately, our experience ended on a disappointing note. We finished our meal, paid our bill (which included the mandatory 20% gratuity), and were simply enjoying each other's company. At 1:46 p.m., after being there for just 1 hour and 41 minutes, the host came to our table and asked us to leave. We were almost only 4 tables who were not Indians. What made this particularly surprising was that there were approximately six empty tables in our dining room and many more available in the adjacent room. The restaurant was clearly not waiting for our table. Had there been a posted time limit for buffet seating, we would have completely understood and respected it. However, no such policy was communicated or displayed. In addition 2 hours for 4 people are normal time. This interaction left a sour impression after what had otherwise been an outstanding lunch. Restaurants are certainly entitled to set dining time limits, but those policies should be clearly posted and applied consistently. We will likely return because the food and service from the kitchen and waitstaff are excellent. We only hope management handles situations like this with more professionalism and courtesy in the future, as it would make the overall dining experience as exceptional as the food. We will simply push back next time, and send the person away.

Unfortunately, the food has been consistently average at best. The dishes lack depth and boldness in flavor, which is disappointing for an Indo-Chinese restaurant. Nothing really stands out. Okay for a quick meal if you're nearby, but there's definitely room for significant improvement.
