He was really worried about his hair not growing out nicely but I told him that he's received this haircut multiple times before by other groomers. Little did I know that because my dogs breed has a double coat, cutting into it will cause the inner coat not to grow out. Thank you for teaching me about my dogs coat and what is best. I appreciate the transparency and care you have towards the care and needs of our babies. Now for the experience: Louis came out looking fabulous! I brought my dog a few times to this grooming location in 2024/2025. Nothing wrong with telling us that, because that's just what we did! We wanted him to be desensitized before he came back. The few times I brought him in, all the experiences were good! So much so I'd gush over how good he looked after grooming and how he looked well taken care of. He'd come home happy and maybe take a little nap. So, I decided to bring him in again recently. Same service as before, nothing different. The most I waited for my dog before was 3 hours (but I was given a heads up by the groomer that they were busier the day he waited for 3 hours, so not an issue at all). My dog was there for about 6 hours. I dropped him off in the late morning and he's wasn't ready until the later in the afternoon. I called to check in after a few hours, but was told her was in rotation to be finished soon... No one gave me a heads up about it maybe taking a while when I dropped him off. When my dog finally was able to come home, he was super dehydrated, immediately needed to use the restroom and was just lethargic overall (never an occurrence in any previous visit at this groomer or at any of the other previous grooming locations my dog has gone to). The stars given are only because of the positive experiences I had BEFORE the most recent one because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my dog here and this would've been a 5 star place for me. But based off my recent experience, it was not a 5 star service. I didn't recognize anyone there, (granted it had been a little while since we had last brought him in), so I'm not sure if they have new staff. However, I unfortunately don't want to put my dog through something like this most recent experience again.

I washed my dog myself prior and I just couldn't put the same time and effort to grooming him myself anymore with my back injury. I know Siberian Huskies are no easy task. = I remember his first wash was a doozy and overdue for a grooming. They took such incredible care of him and he looked so handsome. I laughed when I saw the both of them covered in his fur when I picked him up. They even pointed out that his skin allergy was flaring up and recommended a cream for me to try. He's so fluffy it can be hard for me to catch it early and also turns out he had Thyroid issues that flares up his skin too. It showed me they really care a lot and took time with our old man. I knew I found our forever groomers! They even take an adorable photo of your pup and give the cutest bandanas or even a tie! I loved getting his photos and loved seeing how adorable he always came out. They always do such an amazing job and I know how hard huskies can be. They offer a extra tidy option and I always chose it since they clean up his fluffy bubble butt and trim up a bit. Sorry no pics of my dog's butt but they were were so detailed! Earlier this year the old man passed and Noriko and her Husband reach out to me since Diesel hadn't been in a few months. His health was declining and he left us in a little over a month ago. When they found out they sent me his last grooming pic and a little keepsake with his fur with a heartfelt card. I was extremely touched that they would go out of their way to do that for us. When we open our arms to another dog we will 100% choose Zen Pet Grooming again. They've been nothing but incredible every time I've brought my senior dog there and I'm forever grateful for their kindness. Look how handsome our boy was after every cut!

I loved the fact that they were able to get her in the same weekend, so I committed to an appointment. What a great choice, she turned out heavenly! I made sure to save tons of pictures on Pinterest, because there is a certain look I like my Yorkie to have. I loved that the groomer asked specific questions of the smallest details of the haircut. I was a little nervous since we were going shorter, but they did an amazing job! My Belle looks adorable now, and also smells great with nice silky fur. Juno is dog-reactive, which can sometimes come across as aggression, but anyone familiar with reactivity understands it's really about overstimulation, limited socialization, and the need for patient, one-on-one care. Because of this, I haven't been able to take her to a traditional groomer. I happened to see their mobile truck while on a walk and asked about pricing for my reactive shepherd. Ricardo was very understanding, gave me a reasonable quote, and was even able to fit us in right after his first appointment. From the start, he was calm, patient, and gentle. He let me stay nearby to help Juno feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated. She was timid at first, but he took his time earning her trust and worked at her pace. When it came to the dryer, he introduced it carefully and explained that he didn't want to push her too far or undo the trust he had built even if that meant she wouldn't be fully dry. That meant a lot to me. It's clear that Ricardo has experience with dogs like Juno and truly understands the patience and care they need. Both Ricardo and Paco were communicative, kind, and made sure Juno's first mobile grooming experience was as stress-free as possible. I'm so grateful to find people who genuinely understand that some pups just need a little extra reassurance and compassion. Thank you both for taking such great care of my Juney!
