Andy has fixed my riding lawnmower multiple times and my weed eater as well. He's prompt, honest and reasonably priced.

It took me more than a year of coming here to write a review for Yonderlust, mostly because I'm…read moresurprised by how much this place grew on me. Yonderlust is more than just a coffee shop--it's one of those spaces where you can easily spend an entire afternoon without realizing how much time has passed. It's a fantastic study and work spot: a mix of table sizes, plenty of outlets, and a relatively quiet, calm environment that makes it easy to settle in. It has solid coffee: Drinks here are consistently pretty good. I usually go for their Campfire Latte (a signature for a reason) or whatever seasonal syrup they're featuring, and their matcha latte is reliable too. It has actual, warm food: simple but satisfying sandwiches with enough variety to make for a perfect study snack or light lunch. I am often disappointed when coffee shops only offer cold pastries. It has entertainment: I love taking a quick study break to browse the shop's outdoor gear and clothing; it honestly feels a little like being transported to the West Coast for a moment (give me some Oregan vibes!). Service has always been quick and friendly. I wouldn't say any single thing here is the best in Durham--but together, it is special! There are many days when I find myself craving a few cozy hours at Yonderlust, followed by a quick dessert next door at Rose's.

Bottom line: Pretty nice coffee shop cafe adjacent to/sharing space with an apparel shop. Crowded…read moreeven on a Sunday. Clean inviting atmosphere, I enjoyed my hot skim latte here. The Deets: I had brunch with some friends that live in Durham and after the meal, they directed me to stop into Yonderlust for a coffee beverage stop instead of having one at the restaurant. We stopped by and ducked into the cafe side...I say cafe side as 2/3 of the space there is an outfitters/apparel shop and the other part houses the coffee shop/cafe. The cafe side (as well as the apparel shop) is very nicely done inside, very appealing and clean. The coffee seating area was packed, it appears to be a great place to stop and sit/work a spell even on a Sunday. Ordering moved through fairly quickly and I put in my request for a hot skim latte to the very nice and positive person at the register. The wait was not long before my beverage was completed, and your beverage/name are both called out to pick up when it's ready. I did manage to find one lone chair to sit and drink my tasty beverage while my friends did some shopping in the apparel side. I enjoyed my latte, I'd most definitely stop in again when in the area.

On the plus side, the work done was fine and the convenience of having them pick up my lawn tractor for a reasonable price is great. In the past that would have been the end of the story and a 5 star rating. This time, however, the way business was conducted was not good. First the driver was several hours out of the window to pick up my machine. A quick phone call would have made that fine, I get that schedules get blown up all the time, just let me know when you are running behind. Then the drive picked up the machine without letting us know. Looked out the window and no lawn tractor. Took about 2-3 days to get a response to my messages so I knew that Quality and not some random thief had my tractor. Then the drop off was unannounced, just looked out and saw my tractor. No key. A month and a half later, I'm still waiting for my key. The only communication after the drop off was a bill that showed up a month and a half after the service saying that my account was over 30 days. Hard to pay a bill that you never got. If the driver had checked when dropping off, I'd have gladly paid on the spot. Now they seem to think I'm some kind of deadbeat. Plus, there doesn't appear to be any way to pay on line, so I have to go through the hassle of writing and mailing a check and they have to wait on USPS to deliver, when and if they get around to it.

Overhead Door Company Of Raleigh - Poor installation

We had several significant quality challenges with OHDC of Raleigh: 1. Wrong garage door ordered, and installed anyway - despite writing exactly what we wanted and included a pic in email.  2.  Defective doors: Both doors had multiple concave areas. We were told by OHDC it was a manufacturer issue and a lot of customers "don't mind it". We're including pictures because it wasn't just one panel. We are at a loss to know how a professional installer can look at those garage doors and think they were acceptable. Additionally, these defective panels were a different color on the interior garage side.  When we asked why they were a different color - response was - "oh that's just dirt, they were probably sitting in the warehouse for a while". 3. Glass: Some of the glass was installed backwards, so the tinting was different. Again, not identified on installation or on later visits. We had to point it out. 4.  Seal: A broken seal, or some type of oil (what we were told) - could be seen between several panes of glass.  Again, it was explained to be a manufacture defect, but they were installed anyway. Again, no one checking for quality issues. 5. Door frame: The garage door opening was built too large, and installers had to use four seal trim pieces on one side, and two on the other side of both doors. However when these four pieces were cut, every single one of them was a different length, and none of them sealed with the concrete. One seal was more than an inch high off the concrete. As a result, large amounts of water flowed into our garage causing staining of the baseboard and sheet rock, damp odor, and possibly mold exposure within the wall. We have a video of water flowing into the garage. They never told us the initial deployment was a temporary fix that was supposed to be corrected later. This was never done until we caught it after heavy rains. Conclusion: We are extremely disappointed none of these problems were identified at time of installation. We had to find the problems, which meant multiple trips to our property to coordinate, as well as potential for damage long term. OHDC has employees that are incompetent, don't care, and think customers are too stupid to catch defects. Pictures we've included tell the nightmare story. Buyer beware.

Insanely expensive as compared to prices paid ($200-$300) by colleagues of mine who had similar repairs in the Raleigh area. My advice is to consider alternatives to this company or negotiate better prices. I regret not having done so.
