Basically, if you are on social security, do not shop here. They only want rich people who don't care how much they spend.

You order food at the register and then sit down, so when you order a dessert, they can put a little note to serve it to you at the end. Speaking of dessert, that pecan cobbler ala mode smacks! The perfect ending to a delicious meal. The meat is so tender and falls off the bone. You don't need a knife to cut anything. A plastic knife will do the job easily. They say the brisket is the star of the show and I can attest to that. However, the turkey is the runner up. I don't know what they do to that Turkey, but my husband and I might have to grab more to take home with us tomorrow. They were so nice too because we ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and they ran out, so we got the last of the ribs. The also doubled all our meats! I didn't realize it was the one that was right in the parking lot of Sunset Center, visible from Plains. When I looked up Farmers Markets I thought it was back in the neighborhood behind it or something. There weren't a lot of booths open, maybe 10 maximum, but I encountered the Gee Corn Farm booth and bought six years of corn for $3 which I thought was a very fair price. I also bought some microgreens for $5 from a guy who said it was his first time there. I've had those a few times but haven't tried the corn yet. I didn't get the name of the guy with the microgreens but I wish I had. I have a hard time making it to farmers markets because I'm not an early starter but I happened to get out earlier than usual on Saturday and when I passed by it I decided to stop by. I'm glad I did. Maybe I'll be more motivated to get out the door early next time.
