So I recently move to a Florida a couple weeks ago and couldn't help but notice this shop off the highway. Looked pretty on the outside. Never been to a place that specialized in custard. So i ordered the medium size Boot Daddy. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Although I think I wouldve been more than content with the small. Compared to ice cream, I think custard just tastes better over all. It has better texture and won't give you a brain freeze.The staff was extremely courteous too. Absolutely delicious is the only way to describe Andy's Frozen Custard. The custard is offered in vanilla or chocolate and is fresh and delicious. You can actually watch them making it. They have a huge menu which is lit up on a wall. You think you know what you're going to order until you get there and read all your choices!! So much to choose from. You can get something different every time you go. The staff are always polite and sweet. There are benches to sit on and the location is brightly lit and inviting. On this visit I ordered the: ANDY'S" OZARK TURTLE SUNDAE Vanilla frozen custard covered with hot fudge, crème caramel, roasted pecans and topped with a cherry. It was delicious. FYI They are a little more pricier than Twistee Treat for example, but you can't compare them, this is custard and is made differently. Frozen custard is thicker and has a more velvety texture than ice cream. The main distinction is eggs. Hopefully you will get to try Andy's and love it too! read more

Stopped in on a Friday night to try this new ice cream shop. Place was very busy, but in spurts. Very bright and colorful building. You order at the window and your creation is made in a few minutes There is a large two sided menu in front. They have all kinds of ice cream concoctions, such as concrete mixers, shakes, sundaes, banana splits and waffle cones and cups. They don't serve soft serve. There are tables and benches to sit and eat there. I had a banana split with pecans & hot fudge. My wife had a turtle split, which was the same as mine without the banana. Basically a large sundae. Both were very good. We will return to try other creations. read more

The staff are very friendly and the items ordered were prepared quickly. Food - Very Good. This is a malt shop, not an ice cream store. Some people are are not a fan of malt. I actually like it. The major item offered is a Concrete, which is a version of DQ's Blizzard. I am not a fan of them so I ordered a chocolate malt milkshake. It was very thick and tasted great. This is right by my favorite Publix so I decided to try them out. First it's custard and not ice cream but so many different options that you can get from the menu. A worthy competitor to Dairy Queen. Lots more choices. I honestly I couldn't tell much difference between frozen custard and whatever DQ is serving, both are good to me. $6 plus change for a small special sundae, not cheap but small is pretty generous. My waffle, nuts, chocolate thingy is great, very similar to DQ's Drumstick Blizzard, my fav but only available sometimes. What I had was a regular menu item. Also a reg menu item was their version of the infamous Shamrock Shake along with the choco mint sundae, look out McD's. Andy's doesn't have an inside but has a nice outdoor seating. Love the walk-up windows to order, reminds me of being a kid again. A real nice addition to the Riverview area but technically in Waumoma. read more

The custard is so delicious, it can only be a curse. I've drove by this place at least a million times, thinking, why on earth would they put another custard parlor here? Who even eats custard? We went through the drive thru and the staff was so incredibly friendly. We had no idea what to order and he quickly suggested the Boot Daddy, as it's one of their top sellers. It's a vanilla custard, with caramel, fudge and Oreo cookies. We decided to give it a go. OMG y'all. Incredible. Amazing. Delicious. Sweet. Creamy. Flavorful. There are literally not enough adjectives to describe the explosion that happened in my mouth. I still don't know what exactly custard is, but they have made a fan out of me. Great new addition to the area! The custard is delicious and there's a lot of options. I had the pumpkin pie (seasonal) which is a slice of pie blended with vanilla - and it tastes like it! Super delicious. My wife had the Bootdaddy which is vanilla blended with oreo, fudge and caramel. Also quite tasty. When we walked up to the register, the cashier already had a mini cone ready to give to our pup! How friendly! First time here, and I LOOOOVE it!! I had the pumpkin pie concrete, and hubby had the S'mores Jackhammer. I kinda want to buy a quart of the pumpkin pie concrete tomorrow! What is frozen custard? it's simply ice cream with egg added to it. Most can't tell the difference. After driving by a couple times and curiosity got the best of us so we decided to give it a chance. This reminds me of old ice cream places of yore. No indoor seating, window serving, outdoor benches and a huge menu of combos you can order. Love the feel of this place. I got what I think was called Texas Two Step. It's vanilla custard with cherries and a melted chocolate center. I ordered a small which I think is larger than Dairy Queen's shrinkflations medium. I wasn't crazy about it, very little cherry. But guess what? I was back the next night with my son and grandsons for their first experience. I ordered a small chocolate waffle cone because I wasn't hungry enough for one of the other combos. Ha! It was huge!!! Somehow ate the whole thing. The Kazbours have another hit franchise on their hands. Today was the soft opening to work out the kinks. The curb appeal is great as it doesn't look like another franchise. Its open for Out Door ordering like Twistee Treat or Tampa's famous Dairy Joy & Bo's but unlike those locations it has a very high and wide open roof. It's also well lit from the florescent lights overhead and the LED lights in the windows. In addition the food prep area and custard machines are in full display as the building is mostly windows which I enjoy myself. The staff were very pleasant and super friendly. I enjoyed how the place had a retro vibe with a modern twist. The food was delicious! This is right outside of my neighborhood and will become a regular visit for treats! read more

Customer service used to be fantastic but now it's absolutely terrible. We've frequented this location on a weekly basis for almost two years (yes we love their ice cream that much) but over the past 6 months our orders have been incorrect more than they've been correct and when you tell the staff that things aren't as you requested, you're given an attitude, heavy sighs and even eye rolls. Sadly, based on how poor the customer service has become - they've lost our business. We've started going to Culver's right down the road where the custard isn't as good but they actually appreciate your business and provide exceptional customer service. To whoever owns and manages this Andy's location - I recommend giving your staff a refresher in customer service and perhaps teaching them to show a bit of appreciation for customers who choose to spend their money at this location. read more

Update: Really good custard but they're very expensive. On my second visit I wanted to substitute a premium side for another, which they told me they could do, but they ended up ringing it in as a BYO which added $2 to both our custards. I'm sorry but $15 for two smalls is nuts when twistee treat and cold stone are cheaper and down the street. Don't get me wrong they're good if you're willing to pay for it. Terrible service and rude employees. Stopped by to try the new store, the setup is that you have to read the menu board (which everything looked good, decent variety) Then pull forward to order from employee with iPad. We had to literally argue with the girl taking the order about what was on the menu, ironically there was a huge sign advertising what we wanted directly behind her and she still was telling us it wasn't in the menu. Then we pulled up to next window to pay and get food. Brand new store, yet another employee had an attitude,she handed us the wrong size product then was rude when we said it was wrong. No apologies just justified everything saying it was the order takers first day. We said, that's not our fault, you charge the same price wether your employee has no experience or 10 years experience, we expect the same service and not a crappy attitude when we let you know you did not get our order right. We then asked for a manager since everyone we have dealt with has had an attitude. The employee refused to get the manager and brought over a teenage "Assistant"who did nothing to fix or apologize for the problem, only made additional excuses. We finally demanded our money back and the manager canceled the sale. There was never any attempt at making amens or any indication they actually wanted our business to begin with, like they are the superior store and you can't find frozen custard on every other corner or something. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK and I caution anyone who would like to try this business to reconsider. The product and presentation looks good, but the attitude of the staff and management is terrible. read more
