We had a tent popped up in the parking lot for attendees to enter through and since it was night time too, I wanted everyone to be safe. The day before the event, I found K9 Security online and gave them a call. I was impressed that they were open and I could call on a Sunday. Their hours are super accessible and their prices are amazing too. For under $50 an hour (for one security guard and vehicle in my situation) you can have your entire event feel secure. Beyond being a great option logistically, they were so nice and helpful on the phone. I explained the event and they shared the option to have an unarmed guard, armed guard, a security vehicle, or a combo. I asked what they recommended and they sent a guard and the car. They then immediately sent a simple contract to my email and an online invoice. It was so easy, quick, and straightforward. The next day, the nicest security guard showed up to our event (on time). He walked into the venue, introduced himself, and monitored the parking lot the entire event. He texted me when we had an attendee arrive late and had great communication. He also found me before he left to share about the experience and let me know he was leaving. I will 100% be calling again in the future and sharing about K9 with my event planner friends. We sold the building and they claimed I signed a contract that I had to give them 30 days notice plus they would charge an additional 30 days after that billing cycle. When we canceled the contract, we were only one week into the billing cycle and they for that month plus an additional month. Pretty practices. Glad I'll never have to deal with them again.

I was in a real pickle, the current alarm company at the time was wanting to charge a astronomical large price to bring our company up to there standards to please the fire marshal. I called several other company's that day and the only one that returned my call was Indiana alarm. They sent there team out to inspect our situation and even had the fire marshal out with them to make sure all party's were on the same page so the repairs additions were appropriate to our needs and cost. the work was done flawless and fast with no issues. Called and got a same-day appointment to have some ethernet cable run from our router to our living…read moreroom. They use CAT-6 cabling at a minimum which is a little more expensive. I would have appreciate the option to use CAT-5 to lower the cost but aside from that David was very profession and gave a very accurate estimate of the time and cost. He worked efficiently, cleaned up after the work was done, tested everything, and i've been satisfied with the work done. I will probably use them again in the future when I plan to install a ubiquiti network system.

Avoid Guardian Protection Services - there are many other options that are better, more affordable,…read moreand have better customer service. Their call center customer service line is horrendous - they really do not care about their customers at all.  Like many others, COVID has hit our family and we are barely able to put food on the table and a roof over our heads.  Guardian Protection offered no support or alternative/cheaper plans for the last year of our contract (the first contract I signed with them was 3 years - my fault for not reading the renewal when we moved to a new home that it jumped to 5 years). Today I called to cancel my service at the end of my contract - exactly three months from now. I was told that I could not cancel now - but I had to call back 30 days from the end of the contract.  If I do not, my contract will be renewed on a month-to-month basis.  So, in other words, I call back on exactly  April 20th, or I'm stuck for another month.  I asked that a note be put in my account that I'm canceling now, and giving 90 days notice, but was only told, by Matt, that I needed to call 30 days prior to the end of  the contract. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, Matt took my number (which is already in my account, so....?) and told me a supervisor would call today. Still waiting...

I called the help desk and I was transferred to another number, waited 15 minutes then hung up due to nobody answering. I called back several more times no answer. I decided to see if I can get my device to work, I accidentally set off my alarm. NOBODY FROM GUARDIAN PROTECTION called to check up on me. I called back and managed to get a hold of a lady. She also transferred me!! If you want a piece of mind DO NOT USE GUARDUAN PROTECTION!!
