This doctor is currently under review from the California medical board. Be aware, the minute he has your money he doesn't care what so ever what your concerns are nor is he willing to fix the problem. He will body shame you and blame it on you, that your body is deformed. When you have questions or concerns after your surgery both him and his office manager Katrina are liars, condescending, dismissive and beyond rude. Unless you pay him another $6000 or $7000. He will not release your medical records. He absolutely does not have any artistry in him. If you are looking for a fine job he will not be able to deliver it. read more

When I think of the moment I first saw Dr Smith come out of surgery, as if he just stepped out of the pages of GQ Magazine, I actually blush. His first words to me were "Ms. A?" and I said, Yea? and then he's all, "Surgery went well", and I was all.. "cool". Then I began to wonder, how can one look this good after performing a surgical procedure? Where is the blood or the sweat? He's hot I tell you! Dr. Smith is who Bugs Bunny sang about in his 'What's up Doc' song. Dr. Smith is the cat's pajamas. If nothing else, go see him for his sense of style and the eye-candiness of his demeanor and looks. Sure, that is a shallow reason to be his patient, but you're getting plastic surgery for cryinoutloud, so who cares about depth? You don't. Beyond that, sure he's a great doctor w/a great team. His thank you note scrapbook is full and he's got a really gentle vibe. They play shitty waiting room music so, bring your iPod if you hate Country music as much as I do. I mean cmon, really front desk chicks, get a clue. The boob job he did (not on me) is phenomenal & I didn't even freak out when I saw the scars (or lack thereof). As a husband and the one responsible to pay, I think it was a roller coaster ride searching for the right Doctor. All my wife's friends recommended their Doctors of course and once we reviewed some of their results we were not impressed. 1 visit with Dr. Andrews after interviewing 3 Doctors prior and we knew he was the one. My wife and I ended up paying more than we originally wanted to budget but that was because we decided to do a complete mommy make over. I only wanted to see my wife happy again about her body and we got much more than that. He is incredible at sculpting bodies. The price compared to the emotional satisfaction I see my wife enjoy is unmeasurable. My wife looks amazing. Not only do her sisters and some friends gauk at her but I enjoy her new born wild side too. Scars are well hidden which were one of our main concerns and the shape of her breast compared to some of her friends that had work are not even comparable. Her tummy tuck healed quicker than expected and very well and the liposuction was not even an issue in terms of healing, she neve felt any pain as if she didn't even have lipo. I would definitely recommend Dr. Smith, from my very first appointment Dr. Smith and his staff where really professional and very kind. Dr. Smith was my very first consultation for Liposuction of my flanks (love handles) and Breast Lift with Augmentation. I had a couple more consults and nothing compared! I even went back for another consult because I could not believe what the other doctors' where saying :/ So I had my surgery done September 24th 2013 and I am so happy with my results!!!! I LOVE my body! My boobs look so good! :))) It has just been 3 short weeks and by body is healing great. Dr. Smith's practice is professional, informed and friendly. I was referred to Dr. Smith for reconstruction after a BMx by several physicians (independent of each other). The referring physicians commented on Dr. Smith's awareness of current (and developing) surgical techniques as well as his skills as a surgeon. I completely concur with these referrals. My reconstruction is better than I ever could have imagined. The process, while not fun by any means, was made so much easier by the attentiveness of the entire office (including Dr. Smith) and their accessibility to me when I needed them (day or night). I am chagrined to read a few comments on here about Dr. Smith because they are superficial and, quite honestly, wrong. Dr. Smith has a great bedside manner. He is open, informative, direct and realistic. Dr. Smith's RNFO, Kathy, is equally helpful and kind. She answered every question I had and had the patience of a saint as I went through my emotional journey with them. The front office staff is also fabulous. Scheduling is easy, processing insurance was simple and everything ran pretty much on time. After having and nursing 2 kids , I found myself wanting to fill my breasts back up since they were left smaller than they were before I had kids. I went to see him about replacing my very old ruptured implants which had become hard and had never looked natural. Dr. Smith has a very compassionate yet professional manner and if you review his credentials, you will find he has a top notch resume from the best universities, which is extremely important in choosing a surgeon. I had a full "mommy makeover" On September 18th by Dr. Smith and I couldn't be happier (full tummy tuck, lipo of flanks, and breast implants with lift). Though I'm by no means the vain type, my body was changed immensely with three babies born by 3 c-sections and followed by losing 60 additional pounds of "baby weight." I was eager to feel good about my body again. Dr. Smith was the third doctor I had a consultation with and I signed up right away. He helped me feel very comfortable and really listened as I expressed my concerns about not looking like the Hollywood-type, just feel pretty again. He made it clear that he wasn't going to promise the stars (as no doctor can or should), but that he would do everything possible to give me what I was looking for. The results I saw on his website looked beautiful, and I am happy to see that I received to same great treatment. As for costs, his are very reasonable. Not the cheapest, but you never want to go with the cheapest, especially with major things like this! But he certainly isn't the most expensive. I visited one doctor who talked almost as much about his celebrity clients as he did about my own proposed procedure and he was much more expensive. I feel like the investment I made here was well spent. I am still in the healing process and looking forward to the end results, but so far it looks awesome. And the aftercare provided by Dr. Smith and his staff has been beyond amazing, especially Mimi, Kathy...and...one other lady I can't recall the name of (sorry!). They answer all of my many questions and do frequent checkups. I was surprised and grateful for all the support products sent home with me. I felt very prepared and didn't have to buy anything on my own right away. I was very grateful for a prompt revision to one area, and I know that I'll need some more. Knowing that I can have little things tweaked here and there as needed throughout healing is such a relief. Bodies aren't like stone and it's different for everyone. Dr. Smith goes above and beyond to ensure you get the results you're looking for, or absolutely as close as possible. I would happily recommend him to anyone. =) Oh, and I have to add that even after the surgery and payment, I am still treated like the first day I walked in! They're not just going to take your money here and then push you off to the side. Appointment times are prompt, sometimes even early if I show up early. I can be in and out in 15 minutes if it's a quick check-up. Dr. Smith never acts like I'm wasting his time, and I greatly appreciate that.
