Just after one visit and I am already feeling the difference. I received Smart Lipo from Dr. Richard B. Claytor, MD in Bryn Mawr and this is my second week of post op. Currently I am experiencing pain on my left side and have discovered multiple knots in my stomach which are painful and uncomfortable. I expressed my concerns with Patrick and he was so gently and kind. I can tell that he is extremely knowledgeable and has a ton of EXPERIENCE with the concerns we spoke about. Today the MLD was everything that I needed and more. I knew nothing about the Lymphatic System and Patrick was able to help me understand. I am so appreciative. ***I cannot wait until my next massage with Patrick so we can really get these knots and painful areas relived. *Also I want to add, Patrick was able to to accommodate my work schedule and allowed me to come in earlier than the scheduled time. He also went over the 60mins timeframe, which was very kind of him. I can tell he really cares about the people he works with

Then I started looking for a massage therapist, a licensed masseuse. Patrick was amazing, he knows and understands the muscles and will work on parts that he sees you need help with. The massage room is so comfortable, hot towels, calming music I felt as if I was at a resort. I definitely recommend especially for anyone who has gone through and surgery or intensive care!

My friend booked me a deep tissue massage with Justin for my bday 8/26/23. My appointment was for…read more10pm in which I arrived to the location at approximately 9:50. Although my appointment was rather late; judging by Justin's intake form & website everything seemed legit so I didn't think twice about the timing. Upon arrival, I realized it's an apartment complex. I figured maybe Justin rents an office space. I was granted entry by the doorman who informed me he'd let Justin know I'd arrived. My friend also texted Justin himself. I became rather uncomfortable when the doorman began continuously asking me questions, making innuendos about Justin and laughing to himself. I decided to ask the doorman why he was asking so many questions & he stated, He'd never seen black ppl show up to have a massage with Justin. I was taken back. I then asked does he typically take so long to come down and get his clients? He responded yes, but not quite as long as the 23 minutes i had been waiting. I then proceeded to ask the doorman if he knew if Justin serviced straight clients? He replied, you'll have to see for yourself & laughed. I left at the 30 minute mark and Justin never showed, called or text back. I began reading his reviews for myself and was stumped. I received a text from him two days later stating, I can see you tomorrow. No apology or anything. I declined but figure I'd share my experience since this man was paid upfront for a massage I didn't receive. I ultimately had to file a dispute requesting my money back.

I've been to quite a few Reiki masters, but Jamie is truly the best…read more The first time I experienced her work, I felt like I was wrapped in a cocoon of pure love. It was the first time I ever truly felt what it was like to love myself unconditionally -- something so beautiful, comforting, and divine that words barely do it justice. I work with her regularly now, and it has helped me tremendously -- with anxiety, depression, connecting to my higher power, and stepping into my highest self. My confidence, my self-love, and the way I move through life have all transformed, and that energy has poured into every area of my world. Jamie's Reiki is powerful, deeply loving, and something I hold close to my heart and soul. I truly cannot thank her enough for the healing she's helped me step into. This was your review can you post it on yelp lol. I'm being shameless here

**JAMIE** Reiki with…read moreJamie has been one of the most positive and transformative experiences of my life. What once felt unfamiliar -- maybe even a little intimidating -- has become one of the most grounding and supportive practices I have. Reiki has given me intentional, dedicated time to slow down, reflect, release, and truly understand myself in ways I didn't even realize I needed. Through this work, I've uncovered parts of myself and my life that I never knew existed. What I love most is that every session unfolds exactly as it's meant to. Some days I talk the entire time, letting my voice guide what needs to come out. In those moments, I feel completely safe -- truly in a judgment-free space where I can say anything and allow the energy to move through me. Other days, I simply float into stillness, trusting that the quiet is exactly what my body and energy need. I've also experienced sessions that combine Reiki and yoga, and they are incredible. Jamie is an intuitive and knowledgeable yogi who focuses deeply on proper form and intentional movement. She guides me into poses my body didn't even know it needed -- whether it's heart-opening work, breathwork, or physically shaking out built-up energy. Somehow, I can walk in unsure of what I need, and she just knows. Jamie genuinely cares about her people. She creates a space of peace, trust, and growth, guiding you exactly where you need to be. If Reiki feels different or even slightly intimidating, I completely understand -- but if you're considering it, I wholeheartedly recommend taking that step and booking with Jamie. Trust the process; it has been a powerful and beautiful part of my journey. --- **NICK** Nick has an incredible understanding of the body and how everything connects. His work is intentional, strong, and precise, yet never overwhelming. He knows exactly how to target what needs attention while keeping the session relaxed and enjoyable. I always leave feeling more open, aligned, and lighter in my body -- sometimes even genuinely taller. What I appreciate most is that his care extends beyond the session itself. He offers practical suggestions and guidance I can apply in everyday life, making the work empowering and lasting. On top of that, Nick is genuinely kind and down-to-earth. He makes you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the moment you walk in. You can truly feel how much he cares about his work and the people he works with. --- **MELISSA** Working with Melissa has been transformative in the most lasting way. She has an incredible ability to see the body as a whole and identify patterns that most people would never notice. Her approach is thoughtful, strategic, and results-driven -- and the results speak for themselves. I've experienced real improvements in posture, balance, and overall strength -- changes that continue long after the session ends. I also love that Melissa teaches foundational practices and stretches I can take home. She doesn't just "fix" things -- she helps me understand my body and gives me tools to support it outside of appointments. That guidance has been invaluable. Beyond her expertise, Melissa is a kind and genuinely caring human. She creates a space that feels safe, intentional, and nurturing. You feel completely comfortable in her presence, and it's clear how much she truly wants the best for her clients. Finding her has been such a blessing -- for both my body and overall well-being. --- **ROOTED SOMATICS** I truly look forward to every appointment with Jamie, Nick, and Melissa. When an appointment pops up on my calendar, I feel excited because I know I'm about to step into a space where I can completely relax and feel cared for. Every person at Rooted Somatics has created such a comfortable, welcoming environment that you instantly feel at ease. No matter what I do at Rooted Somatics, my Oura ring always shows I leave feeling restored -- and that's saying a lot for a naturally stressed person. The community is incredible, the space is supportive and safe, and every session feels like a gift. Expert care, thoughtful guidance, and genuine warmth -- I can't recommend it enough.
