I have suffered with chronic pain for almost 6 years. Due to an injury I have been battling neck/…read morespine issues from herniated discs, spinal stenosis, bone spurs, arthritis... The list goes on. Being in my early 30s makes this all the more frustrating. I've tried it all, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, holistic and meds, traction, decompression and massage. Nothing has helped, I live with pain but refuse to accept it. Surgery is my only option , I'm told. In the mean time I decided to get a new masseuse. But no more chain, or specials, or coupon massages. I need someone who is a professional, who listens, who will be there for the long haul, who will work with my body to heal and most of all will help with pain. I searched and found someone who fits the bill...Grace at Yeh's art of healing. Two things hooked me in; the use of both east and west techniques and the spinal massage. First impression is a small and scarcely furnished spa. This place isn't about pampering you it's about healing you. I found it very unpretentious. Grace talked to me and and got down to work pretty quickly. I was in a good deal of pain and had a terrible headache, (like always). Grace used good pressure and seemed to know exactly where it hurt as well as where pain was referring from. After an hour (a full hour, none of this 50 minute short change crap) I felt light headed... And soon realized my pain had diminished and my headache gone. I just went the second time today and felt better than I have felt in years. I can actually twist my neck without grinding sounds or pain. I don't expect a cure, I don't expect my bone spurs to magically disappear. But just the fact that finally I have some natural pain relief and a plan (a realistic plan) to slowly relieve pain gives me so much hope. I know this is a long review, but if you're like me, have neck/spine issues and chronic pain, then you'll research as much as possible. It's only my second massage with Grace, but I can't thank her enough. To roll around on the ground with my son and to not be focused on pain is, to me, such a huge blessing. Grace is not a magician, there's not contraptions or fancy devises. She is an extremely well trained professional, knows how people's bodies and spirits work, wants to work to help the body heal and really listens. I actually, finally feel hopeful I can live life without such pain. Its not cheap, but I'm done with cheap massages, I've spent so much on people or contraptions with miracle cures that offer little help. If you're like me, tried it all and still live with neck pain. I would recommend you make an appointment with Grace. It's early days but I already can't thank her enough. She's friendly, helpful, positive and by far the best masseuse I've come across in my extensive experience. I hope to write another review after more treatments and hope to be able to say the chronic pain is a thing of the past. Thank you Grace!

So many wonderful things to say about Azusa, the daughter of the owner (Grace Yeh). She has all the…read moreright certifications plus a natural instinct, especially in the neck and back area. She can find where you are having pain and where it may be coming from so easily that 70 minutes with her is like being in heaven. She constantly checks if the pressure is okay, and for me it always is! What a treasure. Make sure if you go to Yeh's, you give Azusa a try. She's worth every minute. Leslie F.

Linda, Noelle and the team are exceptional at what they do (I tend to refer to them as magicians b/c of how seamlessly they're able to alter my mind & spirit!). So many local businesses struggled to keep up with the pressure of Covid-19, but this studio has remained an essential part of my world, pivoting and adapting to the new norm with dignity and grace. This business goes far above and beyond to support and treat the local community, utilizing their studio and voices to offer far more than the business suggests. I couldn't be more grateful.

I've found most studios in the area a little too overwhelming, too full of skinny devotees who are fanatically enthusiastic and at the same time in dire need of a cookie. I lovingly think of these people as "Yoga-nuts." I found Hummingbird almost accidentally when a friend posted about their massage services. Hm, hadn't heard of this place. Oooh! They have Sunday morning meditation! Drop in! So I donned my baggy sweats, put on my most comfortable tie-dye shirt and headed down there to check it out, slightly nervous about the whole yoga-nut crowd. Hummingbird is lovely, a comfortable, serene space and Linda is as down to earth as it gets. She is not perfect, and she is one with her not perfectness, and she is happy to have you on the journey with her. Meditation with her is peaceful and enriching. I find myself looking forward to getting up on Sunday mornings for my hour of tranquility. Intimidated by the Yoga-Nut culture? Looking for a place not full of Lululemon and VitaminWater? Head to Hummingbird. Get a massage. Meditate. Practice yoga in a truly relaxed, real environment. A wonderful addition to Ardmore.

16 Aug. 2023 Note…read morethat I give the place a B+/A- for the quality of massage; an A for ease of making on-line booking (profiles of masseuses [with training certification] would be welcome) ; an A for price for quality; and a B for ambiance (and parking). First a disclaimer, if you want a eucalyptus-scented experience with high thread count bathrobes and slippers, Egyptian cotton massage table linen, and fresh fruit and cucumber-infused water while you wait or after, THIS is not THAT. (Or maybe this is such a place if you pay for a different type of massage.) This is much, much more accessible and affordable. I have no idea whether the woman who gave me my massage was licensed. When you book on line, there are no profiles or names of the masseuses. Instead, you choose male or female. That said, I had a 90-minute combined deep tissue back and foot massage. "Anna" was my masseuse. While she was not super communicative (I had to introduce myself and ask her her name), she was by and large professional, thorough, and really good with my knotty back. The back massage was accompanied by hot stones, deep tissue massage, hot cloths, and warm oils. The room was clean and quiet with background music but nothing fancy. You pay after your massage, so the ability to linger was nil. (I would suggest making payment before the massage starts so that the client can rest a bit and then get dressed.) It was not the type of place you lingered around after. As I was leaving, another client was coming in. Parking is at an adjacent lot next door, where the spots are shared with a nail salon and several other small businesses. The only (major) sour note is that when I tipped Anna 15% she let me know that most of her clients tipped 20%. I did not understand her at first. Then I did. I thought this was a bit crass and unprofessional. (I just checked on line, and another client [Yelp user: Legacylive27 P.] had the same complaint about being essentially asked to tip more. On line, the manager said she would remedy this, but clearly she has not. This should be remedied. Tips are whatever the customer wants to give, and a customer should not be made to feel bad for a tip.) In any event, I added to my tip, reasoning that the owner likely got the lion's share of what I just paid for a 90-minute massage and that Anna, who seemed to be in immigrant woman from China with little English, was likely living on tips. But, this blemished the experience for me. It was an excellent massage, reasonably priced, I got the appointment quickly, and my back feels 1,000 times better.

The best. Been going for years to occasionally break up a bad muscle tension episode. Affordable…read more($70 per hour) Online booking and almost always have ssme day appointments. No frills but still relaxing and professional environment. They always know what I need, I almost never have to say " more pressure " or "spend more time on my shoulders". They check in if they think it's too hard. They are just very skilled and intuitive. Please tip well! The base is affordable, so $20-$30 on a hour isn't out of the question. They deserve it. Cindy is my fav but everyone is fantastic.
