I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)

After nearly a year of trying to get tubes…read morethe Dr at the ENT Institute I'd been working with refereed me to a colleague, Dr. Weinman, who got the job done on the first visit. This was shocking how night and day my treatment was between the initial dr and Dr. Weinman. If you do use ENT Institute, please ask for Dr. Weinman. Avoid! I went in to have my left ear drained in December 2021. I only hear out of my right ear at this time due to a ruptured ear drum in 2020. The way it healed has made it where fluid builds up behind my ear drum and I cannot pop my ear. It's madding! By early April 2022 the doctor has convinced me I need nasal surgery and to take allergy shots. While they do the nasal procedure they will poke a hole in my ear and drain it. I could finally hear after this. A week later the hole closed and I could no longer hear. I still cannot pop my ear on the left side so it's back to exactly where it was prior to the procedures. Fast forward to August 2022 I'm still trying to get them to put a tube in my left ear so it can drain. I find out that the last follow up appointment in July, (I had to go to at leas 20 since the procedure in April) where the doctor did absolutely nothing but tell me in a month (which is the 3rd time I've heard this) we can do the ear poke again... a month later... here we are with me refusing to pay the $50 visit fee for nothing and then now saying they have to push the appointment back again due to not having the needed supplies to poke a hole in my ear... All I wanted was to have a tube put in my ear and be done with it. These people will drain you if your money and you'll end up with the same situation a year later. I'd suggest going anywhere else. It's a total shit show. I'm the fool for sticking with them this long, sadly.

By 4:00 he still has not been called back. By 4:15, he asks someone how much longer it would be until he's seen. They tell him that the doctor is very thorough and it could be 5:00 before he's seen. WHAT IN THE WORLD?! What is the point of setting an appointment then? I have NEVER heard of anything like this in any type of medical practice. That being said, I am overall satisfied. The wait times in his office are not terrible but don't expect to be in and out. Wait times can be long, however like I said before... Prior to seeing Dr. Hoffman, my son and I had made several visits to the pediatrician because he had been sick for 5 weeks. We had seen 4 doctors who were unable to diagnose him or help him, one of whom had misdiagnosed him and put him on the wrong meds. Dr. Hoffman really helped my son by listening to us and his symptoms. By thinking outside the box (differently from the other doctors we'd seen), and ordering the appropriate tests, he was able to get the right diagnosis, and give him the proper treatment to get him on the right track towards healing! Since he did not do a closed reduction (reset) of my nose soon after injury, I now I have a bone that has healed out of place and have to wait months to have surgery to fix. Could've been done in the office. Now I have to get insurance to work with someone else and have my face cut open. He later wanted to do a valve procedure that "might" alleviate some of the breathing issues, but again never looked at images. When scheduler contacted about the procedure there was a discrepancy about which (correction vs this thing) should be first. I then contacted other providers who immediately asked, do you have images? Got 2nd opinion and an actual thorough exam that is not suggesting the nasal valve and indicated other issues. Both visits with Dr Hoffman were rushed liked he had somewhere else to be. Very unfortunate because the staff were very nice and helpful. The pamphlet deal made it feel like a slick used car salesman. I give 4 stars because of the staff. I give zero stars to the Doctor, and I give 2 stars to their 3rd party billing that still hasn't fixed the pre-approved insurance billing, but at least they aren't calling me about the bills yet. So that's an average of 2 stars. Really regret seeing this provider and the 40 minute one-way drives made it even worse. I don't like trashing people; however, posting this review so that others don't have same experiences that I did.
