They did not schedule for my hearing to be checked and I had to make a second appointment, so the doctor's appointment was moot. Be aware that you cannot schedule an appointment with audiology yourself, they have to call you back. They did not call for several days, so I called them and actually scheduled the 2nd appointment. After having my hearing checked and seeing the doctor, I was told they would call me to schedule discussing the hearing aids. Considering I had already had two appointments, I asked for them to call as soon as possible to schedule the next appointment. They did not call for 9 days. Once they did call, the person told me that they have 7 to 14 days to call you back to schedule the appointment. Of course, then you have to wait another couple of weeks to a month to get the next appointment. I decided to go somewhere else.

Dr Alvarez didn't even check his tonsils. He checked his ears and He said he had fluids. He sent us to do a hearing test in his office and of course the child passed the test ( INSURANCE COVERED 100% " CASUALLY" ). NO symptonts of infection or hearing lost at ALL. He just prescribe him some antibiotics. We bought the antibiotics, but we decided to don't give it to our child because we didn't feel comfortable. " Second Appt". Three months later, This time, I decided to go with my husband who is a healthcare provider too, and could prescribe the medication to his son. Dr. Alvarez took "10 minutes" with our son, checked the tonsils and his ears. He said the child does not have FLUIDS in his ears, and his tonsils were totally fine.We don't need to do anything about it now. Shame on you Dr Alvarez.

I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)

I had a deviated septum and was seen and diagnosed very quickly. After reading reviews online and talking to others I was told that he is one of the best to go to for this procedure. I scheduled my surgery to take place at his office and was there for a little under 2 hours the day of surgery before I walked out with all the work completed. I've been seeing him ever since and won't go to another ENT if I can help it. The one flaw he has is that he's very abrupt and blunt about what's wrong with you and whatever misconceptions you have about what "you think" is wrong with you. So if you want someone that will tiptoe around your diagnosis and feelings then this won't be the right Doctor for you. I hope this review helps you.
