I ended up with an infection and he worked with me through it and when he realized I needed more drastic intervention, he sent me to an Infectious Disease doctor and continued to work with him and get updates on my condition. I now see Dr. Preston Imhof for a vertigo/motion sickness condition and he's been great to help me out with ADA forms for work. Tip: Fill the forms out for your doctor and then have him review them. Not only does this save on time, but he doesn't know what your job is, so this helps tremendously. On my last visit he thanked me for having the forms prefilled out and all he had to do was review and sign. He said it's a huge time saver for them. It also saved me the fee for him having to fill out the form! :-)

After having 3 different sinus surgeries with 2 different ENTs that were unsuccessful I am certainly glad I found Dr. Downie. I am 4 days post op and can already tell a difference. I am an adult (25) and have had some pretty rough experiences with the scopes/instruments that were run down my nose at other offices, Dr. Downie has never once rushed or gotten annoyed when I asked him to slow down or give me a break. That being said, I am overall satisfied. The wait times in his office are not terrible but don't expect to be in and out. Wait times can be long, however like I said before... He never made me feel rushed.Rita has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond working with myself and my insurance for my surgery. I had to work with not only my insurance but a 3rd party to get a cpap machine before surgery and she helped with that as well as Vaughn. After nearly a year of trying to get tubes…read morethe Dr at the ENT Institute I'd been working with refereed me to a colleague, Dr. Weinman, who got the job done on the first visit. This was shocking how night and day my treatment was between the initial dr and Dr. Weinman. If you do use ENT Institute, please ask for Dr. Weinman. Avoid! I went in to have my left ear drained in December 2021. I only hear out of my right ear at this time due to a ruptured ear drum in 2020. The way it healed has made it where fluid builds up behind my ear drum and I cannot pop my ear. It's madding! By early April 2022 the doctor has convinced me I need nasal surgery and to take allergy shots. While they do the nasal procedure they will poke a hole in my ear and drain it. I could finally hear after this. A week later the hole closed and I could no longer hear. I still cannot pop my ear on the left side so it's back to exactly where it was prior to the procedures. Fast forward to August 2022 I'm still trying to get them to put a tube in my left ear so it can drain. I find out that the last follow up appointment in July, (I had to go to at leas 20 since the procedure in April) where the doctor did absolutely nothing but tell me in a month (which is the 3rd time I've heard this) we can do the ear poke again... a month later... here we are with me refusing to pay the $50 visit fee for nothing and then now saying they have to push the appointment back again due to not having the needed supplies to poke a hole in my ear... All I wanted was to have a tube put in my ear and be done with it. These people will drain you if your money and you'll end up with the same situation a year later. I'd suggest going anywhere else. It's a total shit show. I'm the fool for sticking with them this long, sadly.

I thought it was ear wax, but she told me differently. She prescribed Amoxicillin and Neomycin and the 7 days I took it I felt so ill. My body wasn't taking the antibiotics well. Fast forward to this week, I wanted a professional evaluation and went to go see Dr.Kim. The office staff were very welcoming and kind. Dr.Kim and the other nurses listened to my words. When Dr.Kim looked into my ear she said there was fluid and wax in there. She suctioned my ear up and a few minutes later I am HEARING AGAIN out of my left ear!!!! I was so happy with joy I thought I was going to cry. Almost. Dr.Kim is awesome and so very kind. I am so happy right now that she fixed my problem. As for the pills, I was taking them for no reason thanks to the other doctor at Piedmont Urgent Care. I am happy right now so I don't even care about it anymore. I have seen Dr. Jenny Kim twice and find her to be an excellent and knowledgable Otolaryngologist…read more I was able to book an appointment to see her the next day after calling her office the previous day. She is absolutely kind, knowledgable, caring, helpful, and does a very excellent job of treating all of her patients. I came to her with severe nasal congestion and nasal drainage. She examined the inside of my nose on my very visitation with her as well as ask me if I had any sinus pressure, ear pain, or headaches. I told her that I did not, and she explained to me that I did have a sinus infection on my first visit. So, she prescribed me a strong antibiotic and a nasal spray. I have taken all of the antibiotic that she has prescribed me as well as used the nasal spray and it helped a whole lot. I started to have relief just after two days. When I went back to her for a follow up visit, she inserted her nasal light up inside of my nose and then irrigated (suctioned) each one of my own sinus cavities. She also sprayed the inside of my nose and then to a sample culture for testing. She called me back Friday afternoon with the results and told me exactly what kind of bacterial sinus infection that I had and to inform me to take the remaining antibiotics. I have done just that. When she suctioned and irrigated both of my nasal cavities, I had a lot more immediate relief. I have also continued to take nasal spray afterwards as she advised and recommended. It has been close to a whole week and today I am 100% better and free from my own sinus infection and it is all because of Dr. Jenny Kim. She has sped up and shortened the duration my suffering. Dr. Kim has never rushed through any of my own appointments and visits with her at all. She has always taken plenty of time with treating and not rushing at all. Dr. Kim truly is an excellent, knowledgable, and wonderful Otolaryngologist with a true passion and a true love for the kind of medicine that she practices. She also treats all of her patients extremely well and with lots of care. I absolutely do highly recommend her. She is simply the best!

WHAT IN THE WORLD?! What is the point of setting an appointment then? I have NEVER heard of anything like this in any type of medical practice. Not only does she listen to ME, but she goes a step further to make sure she understands what I am trying to tell her. Dr Pearson never rushes, but takes her time to be completely sure that "I" understand what she is saying to me. Definitely a collaborative atmosphere!
