I made the appointment with the understanding that as her full-time caregiver, I would accompany her. I was not allowed into the exam room "only patient and doctor allowed" for this visit, even though my mom cannot remember instructions or exam details. She had her visit with the Dr. but he didn't even speak to me. The Medical Assistant that told me what happened, and the treatment plan in the doorway of the waiting room, with other people listening! This is a HIPAA violation of her patient privacy! Excluding her POA and caregiver (me) from her exam and treatment, not speaking with the doctor for explanation, and the MA discussing her private treatment information in the public waiting room are unacceptable. We will NOT be returning to see this podiatrist and I am filing a consumer complaint as well.

I saw Dr. Bobby in his Bishop office, and he was exactly as described in all the five star reviews. He is an extremely professional and kind doctor. He spent a long time with me and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him. He really is as good as everyone says.

Then Dr Sergio Melara (the other extremely young Dr at the practice) diagnosed my foot problem in minutes taking his time to ask questions and most importantly "listen" to the answers! He took ex-rays to confirm his suspicions. Right after getting them he came back in and explained that I have the foot of a circus freak. Just kidding. He capped off this visit with a few well placed corticosteroid shots and off I went. Dr Kaplin and Dr Melara may be young Doctors but they are obviously the most competent podiatrists I've ever been to. Crazy Bernie now has 2 foot doctors who are the only ones that can get within a mile of my feet.
