They said maybe, Friday or Monday they'd come out and check things out. They forgot about us. I called them on Tuesday and they rescheduled with me. I was just about to call another Electric Company, because I thought they forgot about me again. Just as I was about to dial, two very nice and polite service men showed up. Sure enough, I did need a new box. But guess what, he had just used his last one at the last customers house(likely story). He seemed genuine and promised to come back the next day and he did. He plugged in my stove and said the box shorted out and blew up my stove, so I do need to purchase a new stove. He only charged me for one hour of service. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy. I will always call them when I need them. Very fair and reasonably priced. I believe it is $98.00 to show up and $25.00 every quarter hour. You can beat that! We hired this company to pull electricity from the street To a building. It started off great and…read morethey finished the job quickly. The issue came when they pulled the power to the wrong side of the property! It was partially our fault as we showed them the post where we thought it should have be but at the same time, they have been in communication with JEA and even asked the question where the pole was going to be. JEA replied back with a map of the location of the pole. We told them that since it was everyone's fault, we are willing to pay the difference should it have done correctly. They said "no" as it's not their job to coordinate with JEA and only do what they are instructed by us! I verified with other companies that it is industry standard to do coordination with not only JEA but also, county inspectors. We argued and but they held us hostage because they stopped the job until we agreed to pay for everything and we had no electricity until the job was done. We ended up paying an extra $2800 for the job to a total of $15k. I gave it 1.5 stars because it was smooth at the beginning; however, I do not recommend this company because they do not take ownership of mistakes!

I hired Bolt Electric to come out and upgrade some outlets in my home following a remodel that was…read morenot done well. (Some things still didn't work). Head electrician came out for the free quote, explained what would probably need to be done and recommended replacing the main breaker box and he showed me proof of why. My old box was a Federal Pacific box that causes fires and my box was additionally wired wrong and illegally by previous owners of my home. We agreed on a price and he threw in installation of a new timer switch for my pool which had broken but I had not yet installed. His team arrived early in the morning as agreed and started work. The job was finished within budget, no surprises, everything worked and the area was cleaned after the job was complete. Happy customer.

He said that we would have to pull a new line from the main circuit box to the GFI outlet in the upper master bath. That would cost thousands of dollars. In addition, the drywall repair and painting would be hundreds of dollars more. Phil had an electrician here the next day to investigate. He found that we could tap into a nearby outlet. The following day, he returned with another electrician to do only minimal demolition, and fix the problem. The cost? Less than $400!!! Our drywall/painter will be here this week, to make it as good as new. Phil and the electricians were timely, courteous, professional, helpful and tidy in their work. They are now our go-to electricians.

Power and Control Installation electricians changed my well to a 240 volt from a 120 volt but…read moredidn't change the pump to 240 volt. This caused the well pump to intermittently shut off and on every time I used the water for a month. I let your workers know this was happening and they said was probably working better since the 240 volt was installed. I knew something was really wrong so I called Riverview Pump and Well. Rick, the owner came out yesterday to fix the problem. He said the well pump was wired for 120 volts and the electrician installed 240 volts and didn't change the motor to 240 volts. He said an electrician should have easily seen this problem. I'm wondering if the young man that installed the 240 volt has his license. I'm also wondering if all the other work I had done was done properly if this was missed. I contacted the company with no reply.

They have added both interior and exterior 110 outlets and wiring; a 220v circuit with a local disconnect for my outdoor hot tub then reconnected the hot tub from the 110 to 220 circuit; installed new Eaton home surge protection to my distribution panel and replaced obsolete partial can lights in my kitchen and nook. Each time I was provided a free and competitively priced estimate in writing; and scheduling the work was prompt. Their electricians and helpers were professional, courteous, respectful, competent and efficient. They treated my home with due care; job sites were cleaned before leaving. No surprises, gimmicks or sudden charges. Sometimes I provided agreed materials other times they did - all part of their agreed estimate. I've actually called them out a fourth time, after my hot tub was switched over to the 220v circuit. The hot tub was not functioning properly so I called and an electrician came out to troubleshoot the problem. Together we confirmed that all of their previous work was functioning properly (which I suspected), then their electrician went beyond that to help me troubleshoot my older hot tub and determine the problem with it. Although repairing the hot tub was outside of their service scope, having the information that their electrician provided was very valuable to me. I give them a strong recommendation and will continue to use them for my "go-to" electrician!
