The staff was extremely friendly and caring and able to understand what my needs were. I am new to this practice, and they came highly recommended. I saw Dr. Andrzej Torbus, he is very through, kind, and genuinely interested in what my concerns were. I saw him two tImes, the first was to get familiar with the practice, and get recommendations and referrals to other specialist in my plan. The second visit was for medical clearance, I am having knee surgery. Both times Dr. Torbus walked in happy and smiling, and I never felt rushed. He put me at ease, and answered all of my questions. He was able to recommend routine yearly exams that I needed to have since I was a little behind. This practice is part of Atlantic Health System. Most of my information was already in their system. Dr. Torbus could see some of my previous records and dates. All I had to do was update my insurance information. The process was very easy. I love that they have an online system called "My Chart." You sign in and can access all of your medical records, tests, appointments,that are part of Atlantic Health,and even send an email directly to the doctor and his staff. Any other doctor associated with Atlantic Health System that I've seen will also be in "My Chart." This practice is located alittle down from the center of town in Warren. . There is also free parking in their lot. There are rows and rows of medical buildings up and down Mountain Ave. RT 22 and 78 are both accessible from this office. I definitely recommend this practice.

I waited to write my review after coming here several times so I could get a good feel of this…read moreoffice, and how patients were being handled. I was referred by my brother who is a doctor to Dr Andrzej Torbus because I was in pain and needed to be seen right away for possible surgery, and a few other issues. I met with Dr. Torbus who I really like. He walked in with a smile and he was very upbeat each of the times I saw him for my appointments. I explained my issues and he addressed each and every one of them. I never felt rushed and I was given a through exam. Dr. Torbus put me at ease gave me samples of prescription medication to try. I had to go to LabCorp for further blood work then what was done in the office. Several days later I called Dr. Torbus's office because I wasn't quite sure when I went into the "My Chart" what my test results meant. Within two hours Dr. Torbus called me back and explained all of my test results to me and reassured me. The office staff has been very professional and compassionate. The MA's also are very kind. Dr. Torbus is a wonderful diagnostician. I found him to be professional, but also have a sense of humor. If your looking for a new primary care physician or just want to change, I highly suggest trying Dr. Torbus

In the 30 plus years I've been a patient I HAVE NEVER MADE A COMPLAINT. This lady is a ticking time bomb. Why does she insist on knowing who I am and then tells me not to hide!? This individual has access to my medical records and is demanding to know who I am! I hope Martinsville and Atlantic healthcare review her behavior and determine she is clearly not fit to deal with public! It's funny how she says she's been there five years and all the complaints reference this place going downhill about five years ago! She will flat out tell you "I have no pains, why do I need a doctor". So we arrived today and go thru what everyone does at the first of the year...provide proof of insurance is the first thing the doctors office asks for...Ask an 89 year old woman this and the response is "Why"? Thankfully this is G's mom so he gets to deal with the stubborn parts of this issue, I get to stand back and be the angel of a daughter in law....which translates to being agreeable. After this insurance issue is handled its sit and wait time. Thankfully the wait time was in reason for what an 89 year old lady thought it should be. Whew! I was offered the chance to go back for the appointment, but I politely said it would be to many in a room so I would just wait in the very lovely waiting area. Patients went in one door to see the doctors and exited thru another door. The process seemed very streamlined and efficient. The wait for her to be finished seemed just about right for a doctor visit. She came out from the appointment with a smile but then said the doctor wanted her to exercise, which turned that smile to a bit of a snarly snicker. My response was, "well hes just trying to keep your muscles strong so you dont fall, and if you walked more maybe that would be good". The best neutral response I could give a stubborn little lady. We headed home with additional questioning of the new exercise routine. Whatcha gonna do??? Sometimes older people are just stuck in their ways, but thankfully a doctor with a great demeanor can persuade even the most stubborn of older ladies to exercise. Next check up in 4 months with and exercise plan in place. I might want to miss that visit.

My mother had to call 911 a week following a gallbladder surgery. Dr. Gudz returned to my Saturday night (wouldn't you know it!) call within minutes. She knew exactly who the patients was and she immediately alerted the hospital, the surgeon and my mom's cardiologist. Of the group, Dr. Teresa Manocchio (pronounced like Pinocchio) is my all-time favorite. She has a warm bedside manner and an honest, down-to-earth personality. She's a natural. The entire staff including nurses and receptionists (who can validate parking) are great with children and their parents. In the waiting area, there's a spot for parking strollers and Nemo and Dory impersonators in a fish tank that separates healthy and sick patients. While receptionists can book appointments, online scheduling's available on a "patient portal" for $69/year for one child (and $30/year for each additional child). Visit notes, recommendations, and vaccine information are shared on the portal but more importantly, future appointments are easier to schedule with any doctor you wish. For regular check-ups, bringing a blanket helps keep babies warm when they need to be stripped to their diaper. One time I forgot and had to use my hoodie. Wait times typically range from 5 to 15 minutes. The staff's pretty mindful of keeping healthy kids away from exam rooms previously occupied by a sick child. The doctors use current best practices and fully answer any questions. They also perform ear piercings for $100 which includes a starter pair of earrings from a selection of 5 choices. I suggest bringing a book or toy as a distractor for immediately after the piercing. For semi-emergencies, you can call for a same-day appointment with the doctor on duty. I love this group so much that I recommended them to my brother's family. It's a matter of trust.
