It had fallen down in one place and over the years rocks had come loose the mortar was giving out. Morrow's Masonry jackhammered all the old mortar out and replaced with new. We were promised a professional, high-quality paint job completed in 5-7 days, and instead the project dragged into 9 days of chaos, excuses, sloppy workmanship, and complete lack of professionalism to the point we did not have them back to touch up anymore work because it just kept getting worse. The drywall repairs they charged us for actually looked WORSE after they "fixed" them. Repairs were flashing straight through the paint because they did not properly prime the walls like we were specifically told they would. Cracks in the ceiling literally reappeared within 48 hours after completion. The finish work throughout the house was rushed, uneven, and full of visible imperfections. Marcelo and his crew showed very little care or respect for our home. Day one, they used the smallest drop cloths and had compound all over our hardwood floors. They were sanding cabinets directly on our brand-new dining room table while wet paint was still in the room. Outlets and fixtures were spray painted over, which is a fire hazard. They barely used drop cloths and the plastic they used was so thin it was ripped and not sticking to the floor, had no proper lighting equipment, and didn't even bring basic cleaning supplies. At the end they were using an old dirty mop they found in a closet, wet it and smeared their mess across the entire house, on hardwood floors. For the amount of money we were charged, the workmanship was unacceptable. What was promised during the sales process was NOT what we received. The entire job felt rushed and poorly managed from start to finish. The project managers did not have the man power to complete this job as it was understaffed everyday. Extremely disappointing experience. Sloppy work, missed promises, poor preparation, poor cleanup, and terrible attention to detail. Every night I had to walk through and point out all the imperfection, completely missed painted walls, pain on trim, pain on windows, repairs flashing through final coat, fixtures not put back, missed outlet covers, areas of floor not covered, ect. This job was full of constant excuses after excuse.I would never use this company again and would strongly caution anyone considering hiring them.
