Solid diner in the northeast region of Philly. Visited kind of impromptu with friends at nighttime but was glad to find out they serve breakfast all day, so we all decided to go with breakfast for dinner, in addition to their very extensive (and quite overwhelming) menu. I had the cheese omelette with their home fries which were very good, the omelette itself was also good. My friends all seemed to also enjoy their food. We were seated rapidly upon arrival and the service was nice! There's nothing extraordinary from this place, it's what you would expect from any diner in all aspects. read more

ANDONIO'S is back! We were pleased to find that one of our breakfast spots was back open after a kitchen fire in 2021. Not much has changed, The feel is the same and the friendly familiar faces are welcoming. Food was served hot and promptly and our cups remained filled throughout our meal. Fabulously friendly service from start to finish. Very good Greek omelette and crisp bacon. Service by Arietta, wow, was 5-stars... what a cheerful and sweet person... and couldn't be more efficient and attentive. She can hold training seminars for food service professionals. The only downside was the pancakes... tough, not fluffy, not much flavor... Like low-end box mix... and probably the easiest thing to improve. Very cozy atmosphere, clean and cheerful. Good coffee, too. I'll try again in hopes they find a pancake recipe that is consistent with the quality of everything else. read more

We are so thankful that we found Andonio's Diner on Yelp! Everything that we've ever ordered has been delicious, as if it were home cooked. Even more importantly, the staff is amazing. They treat everyone like family. We had been going through some incredibly tough times, and commuting back-and-forth between our home in Virginia and Philadelphia. Walking into Andonio's was like coming into a friend's house. We watched the servers greet customers by name and chat with them, all while taking and delivering orders. After our first time there, we were greeted by name. The owner, Angela, came over to our table to make sure that everything was okay. I have been going to this establishment for at least 20 years. The new owners have done a wonderful job in improving the restaurant as a whole. The food is always very good, the service is friendly & attentive, the interior is even warmer & comforting. I just had lunch there today and the silverware was new & sparkled, my coffee cup was clean & new. The older employees know my name and make you feel so welcome. I really do appreciate the inviting setting and warm dining experiance, your left with. Hat's off to the new owners, they are there working Hard to make the machine work. My boyfriend and I have been to Andonio's a couple of times. Both times, we had superb food. My boyfriend raves over the Cream of Chicken w/broccoli soup. We have had excellent cheeseburger and fries there. The last time we went, I had Challah French Toast with a side of crispy bacon. Superb! My boyfriend had the Monte Cristo with fries. Also superb. So glad Andonio's is open again!! The place was super busy but the wait was worth it. Our food was served hot and it was delicious. Hubby had the broiled seafood combo and loved it I had a cheeseburger with all the fixings and it was cooked perfectly. Hubby also had the beef barley soup and he said it was delicious. Portions were generous and the bread was yummy. The service was great from hostess to waitress. We are so glad this place opened up again. Bustleton needs a good diner. This is a great hole in the wall place for breakfast. Please do not let the long lines deter you. They do move fast. I love that ALL of the servers are so nice and friendly and since I have been coming here for years, I have become very friendly with them. The best part of breakfast is their specials because you get a ton of food without breaking the bank. They have breakfast specials til 11 that includes coffee/tea and other ones that include your choice of coffee/tea and a small juice. They recently added that you can now upgrade to a large juice for .99. There really is something for everyone, eggs, tons of breakfast meats, oatmeal, cereal, french toast, pancakes. Hubby and I can get breakfast for about $10.00. I know a lot of resolutions are to save money or not go out to eat but this is your happy medium. I have only been here once for lunch but their lunch menu is pretty extensive. They do have a small salad bar too. If you have never been here you do not know what you're missing. read more

I bought a gift card here for my friend's birthday because I knew it was his favorite restaurant and he lives really close by. In fact, he actually proposed to his wife while sitting in a booth here. Anyway, there was a fire and it closed. When it reopened there was a new owner. The new owner would not honor the gift card. What do you think? For public relations aspects, it seems like they should. It's still the same name, Andonio's. My friend was ticked off about it especially since he's a well known regular. It's been a long time since my last visit to Andonio's Diner. Pre-fire was my last time and I always enjoyed it there, especially with my good friend. The major thing other than the food in this place is the friendly staff. They make the whole experience a total pleasure. I kid you not you just want to hang out and listen and talk to the staff and everyone that is coming in for their meals. It's a fun place . . . now if you want piravacy ask to sit in the back portion of the place, less noise and activity. If you really want to interact with the staff and others sit at the counter for a full expericane and a great meal to boot. read more

This time I came was way better then the last- the service was great! Fast and very helpful. Kept refilling my beverages and checked on us multiple times. I got the lunch this time and it was huge! And very tasty! Got a turkey club and it was so fresh- had coke slaw and chips with it. I ended up spending $24 for 3 people to eat breakfast/lunch- so happy about the price. It seems many know each other and know the waitresses very well. The prices are so great you can get Breakfast under $8 and it's good food to. The staff is nice. Service is okay, it's just waiting for fill up for your coffee. But big reason for waiting is how busy they get. They could add few more waitresses, I look forward to going back for another breakfast!! Or mabe even try the dinner one time. I had the creamed chipped beef with home fries, it was average. This place is always busy but the turnover is incredible. You never have to wait long. We were 4th in line and were seated in 10 minutes. The line is an indicator of how good Andonio's is. We've been here for "brunch" multiple times and they never disappoint. Even today when our waitress tossed the creamer down onto the table which annoyed me greatly we just went back to eating. She was in some kind of mood, in guessing she's new and is having a bad day given she kept asking all the other waitresses if they have her checkbook.
