FOOD POISONING: On July 8, 2026, we ordered a company meal for five colleagues during lunchtime. I consumed half of a pork roll hoagie and subsequently experienced SEVERE symptoms of food poisoning, which required emergency medical attention. Through consultation with the emergency room staff and my partner, who is a sous chef, we were able to identify the source quickly. The business was notified; however, the response was dismissive. This was my first time at Rocks and it won't be the last! It was recommended by friends of mine and with the new ownership, things are looking really good! I tried the potato salad and pasta salad. The potato salad was pretty run of the mill but spot hitting at the same time. The pasta salad had peppers, tomato, and broccoli mixed in and the flavor was fantastic. I'd get a few pounds for my next party! I grabbed the old world Italian which was recommended. Solid Italian hoagie. I especially love that they shred their lettuce super fine. It's a personal preference that I enjoy. There was also a kielbasa and kraut special on the menu. A simple sandwich that I instantly fell in love with. The team there was so friendly and walked me through the whole menu, made suggestions for my next trip and were just great to deal with. It's a solid stop when in the Rockledge area! read more

So happy to see Rocks Deli open again ! In the fall of 2024 it was not open during normal hours and I was very saddened to see this (( Rocks's 2025 Edition is still amazing hoagies cheesesteaks chicken and cannot live without the traditional Homemade Philadelphia Hoagie Dip to die for . Not happy with the service Rock's provided. Unfortunately. I called on Friday to place an order for a small hoagie tray to be delivered today. The young lady on the phone said it would be $45 plus tax. My boss wanted to know the full total with the tax and delivery fee so I called again this morning to get the amount. A gentleman answered the phone this time. I asked him if he could give me the total with the tax and delivery fee and he said, "It's $45 plus tax." Okay... I asked about tax AND the delivery fee. So he says, "Well, let me get my calculator." He was speaking as if I was inconveniencing him. He said, "It'll be $47.70 and I'm not sure if they're charging a delivery fee." I told my boss that the gentleman I spoke to wasn't sure if there would be a delivery fee applied to the order. She asked me to call back to speak to a manager. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told the manager wasn't there and that they would have to return our call later. They finally called back and said it was $47.70 and when we asked about the delivery fee, there was a moment of silence and she said $47.70 would be the cost of the food. My boss called one last time and the lady on the phone was rude and giving my boss attitude about calling for pricing. When our tray arrived (15 mins earlier than expected) the delivery man said the receipt was in the bag with condiments. Apparently no delivery fee was charged because we are about a block away from Rock's. It just a shame that we had to call that many times to get a straight answer and they made it seem as if we were wrong for wanting to know an exact total. The hoagies were okay. Kind of dry but I added a dab of mayo and it wasn't bad. Just wish they knew how to properly speak to their customers. I don't think I will order from them again. Horrible service. I called to place a simple order and the worker who answered the phone (A woman who wouldn't say her name) was very rude and did not want to take my order without "inconveniencing her". Is it too much to ask if certain toppings are included with a hoagie and the prices? Well at Rocks Italian Deli it seems to be. Overall they make good hoagies but the service needs to improve. I would not recommend you spend your hard-earned money at this deli. There are better options in the local area that will treat you with better service. read more

Hmmm my 5 star review from 5+ years ago seems to have disappeared. The best hoagies in the neighborhood - better hoagies than Timmy Ds and especially wawa (only 2 other sub places in neighborhood; well I guess there's chubbies too...). They slice their deli so nice and thin. Good wings. Only downfall is they really do take 20 min to make your order. So call ahead and don't come earlier or you'll be waiting. Good hot roast beef. They don't run out of rolls like Timmy ds. (I like the seeded rolls). A bit pricey and have to spend $10 min to use card. read more

Today was my first experience at Rocks Italian Deli. A group at work decided to order from there for lunch, and I was the delegate to go and pick it up. I had a chicken salad sub, with lettuce, tomato, onion and spices. It was very tasty, and the portion size of the sandwich was humongous. The rest of the group ordered a variety of sandwiches and French fries. Everything was good, and the food was prepared quickly. Only downside is the appearance of the actual location. It could use some modernization. read more

My go to venue for takeout breakfast. Whether it's a sandwich or a platter I've never been disappointed. Today I called ahead for a platter with scrapple, scrambled eggs, hash brown patty and wheat toast. My order was ready when I arrived and I was out the door. I got back home and got right to it. The scrapple was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy exterior and soft interior. The eggs were cooked well and I enjoyed the taste didn't add any salt or pepper. The hash brown patty was nicely fried giving it a little crunch. I will definitely have to try some of the deli sandwiches they offer. read more

Stopped by a few months ago when we were in the area. Outstanding hoagies and a great old school atmosphere. I highly recommend.

This place is so good, they make the best burgers and hoagies I've ever had and there Wraps are phenomenal, too.

Needs a make over, had a funny smell when entering, needs a good cleaning and paint job. Salads were a lot better when first opening.

GREAT Cold sandwiches and hoagies!! They should stick with that. I have not had one (1) item of food from Rock's cooked that I would ever order again! Simply Awfulle. One time I had to take back my hot sausage (grilled) and onion sandwich. As soon as I bit into it, I threw up (sorry if too graphic). Do not order the cooked foods or prepared salads! They do make a good hoagie, however gone are the good seeded rolls...... too bad, they lost a notch because of that.

I used to own an Italian deli. So I know a good spot. This is it. For the quality and price.... and location, this place can't be beat. There is not one other Italian deli in the Northeast that could compare in my opinion. The staff was nice. Helpful. The place was clean. It reminds me of growing up walking into the local Italian delis. I did a search, and came from Abington to try a couple hoagies out for the family before Thanksgiving. While there, I was so impressed with the deli meats and their pricing, so I opted to make a tray of those delicious meats like Hot Sopresata. Prosciutto. Hot Capacola. Genoa, etc.... SHARP Provolone. They actually got real Sharp. I was blown away. Oh yeah, and they have Liscio's seeded rolls. You know you are at the right spot, when they got the right bread. My family loved the meat spread that I put out. And we tore into our hoagies while getting ready for thanksgiving. Thank you, we'll most certainly be back soon. read more

The Italian chicken cutlet sandwich (including broccoli rabe) smelled so fantastic I had to get it open at the first red light I hit. Got two excellent bites. So that was top quality, and the deli roast Italian pork I also ordered came sliced nice and thin and also tasted great. That's all I have to go on, but so far, so good. read more

Rock's catered my Christmas party and it was wonderful. Roast beef, hoagies, pasta and potato salad. Veggie and a wonderful fruit tray. Will definitely use Rock's again for catering. Absolutely wonderful. read more

Five star deli in a town where fresh delicious food fast is few and far between and even those places are hit or miss, but not Rock's. Every pork roll egg and cheese, turkey sandwich, or chicken salad wrap has always tasted delicious!!! I'm munching on a PREAC (pork roll egg and cheese) so good right now, I was compelled to write. Had stuff to do Sunday so I ordered two breakfast sandwiches. That's fine whatever so I get over there in 10 minutes. They didn't even start making them so I told them to keep it. I don't understand what happened to actually caring about the customers needs. If you call something for a pick up the least they can do is start making it! read more

I can't say enough good about this place. I live in Hollywood, PA and we try to keep things local where we can and frequent the shops on Huntingdon Pike. So I started going here from time to time for various lunchmeats and things like that and it was great since the new owner seems to care about his business. The previous owners didn't and it showed, the place was dirty, it had no stock except for like some ham, turkey, and cheese, and like 3 rolls and a mostly empty pickle barrel. Not anymore, Rock's is clean, it's stocked, the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. I really have to recommend the breakfast sandwiches (not a lot of delis offer you the option of scrapple as a sandwich meat, nice touch there). However, what really inspired me to write this review is that over this past weekend we used their catering service for my mom's surprised birthday party and they excelled. The food was delivered on time, the owner delivered it himself taking time to explain exactly how to properly cook everything so it was perfect by the party time. The chicken parm was unbelievably good, everyone raved about it, the ziti, roast beef, roasted veggies, and potatoes were also fantastic (I should know, I've been happily eating leftovers for days!) Anyway, an easy 5 stars here, check it out whenever you can, really really great place! read more

I saw the owner picking his nose and wiping it on his shirt. Then he made some hoagies without washing his hands. He's a very fat guy so I watched to see if he was eating while working. Sure enough, he scooped some tunafish salad into his mouth with his hand. I noticed his fingers were all chewed up like he was biting his nails and he was sweating like a pig even though it was 24 degree out. I'm pretty sure he farted too. I highly recommend this place if you love food poisoning and throwing up. read more
