Love this winery. My husband and I had a 12:30pm reservation on a Saturday. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and had the option to either sit inside or their outdoor seating area. We of course decided to sit outdoors and take in that beautiful view of the hills, vineyard and the warm sun. Jane assisted us and guided us through the tasting. She was so sweet and just amazing. Our $15 per person tasting was waived since we decided to purchase a bottle of the Sauvignon blanc and one of their reds. Bottles at fairly reasonable. Roughly $25-40, depending on which on you want.

This winery was completely different from the other 2 wineries we visited in the area. It was modern and industrial-like. I liked that this winery served food. I would have ordered food if I hadn't gotten food from a food truck prior to our stop here. We wished they had dessert though. They sell some pricy chocolates. I purchased the English toffee which was really good. The tasting was $15 pp. The tasting fee is waived pp per bottle purchased. I liked almost every one of the wines on the tasting list. We purchased the 2021 Harvest Widow White. Our server was friendly and informative.

This has been a favorite place of ours since we first visited in 2015! Such a sleek modern and comfortable place to enjoy amazing wines with a scenic view. We brought an aunt from Tennessee to visit Sunday while they did their oysters and wine event! One of the best experiences she said! We lucked out with perfect weather. the staff have always been and continue to be so warm and kind and hospitable. You can't ask for better service. We enjoyed that they had a special light wine flight which paired beautifully with the oysters which were DELICIOUS! We also ordered the charcuterie board! That Barely Buzzed Lavender Espresso cheese was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back again.

Easy to find and a very beautiful property. They charge a $15 tasting fee refunded with a bottle purchase. Service was OK. Wines weren't spectacular, just ok.

Nice winery located off Shenendoah Road. You can't miss this one perfectly perched perched uphill with bright red flags inviting you to come in for a taste. The entrance is beautiful and very spacious filled with wines and snacks for purchase as you taste. We made reservations and were sat outside in really comfy furniture. It was a warm day but the tables had umbrellas. We were presented with a menu and little card where you could check the boxed for the wines you wanted to try. Your glasses were then brought out all at once like a flight which was really nice because we could taste at our leisure. There were snacks inside available to purchase but they did also have a food truck onsite which was pretty cool. The grounds are large and so pretty to enjoy. They have so much seating so you will be well taken care of as a pair or a large party. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines. Don't skip this one next time you're ready for a tasting.

I was lucky in the sense that my "coming of age" for drinking wine was pretty heavily saturated with Andis wine. You see, my dad has been a wine club member and when I started to drink more wine, he generously brought me along to the Andis wine club pick up parties in Honolulu, where we live. I got to try all the wines included in the pick up for that quarter and I even got to meet Andy and Janis, the owners of the winery. I had been to Napa and Sonoma before, but my dad had been to Amador County a handful of times and recommended it. On my most recent trip to California, we stopped at Andis winery on our way to Murphy's, and it was one of the most unique wineries I have been to. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area. There are quite a few other wineries in Amador, but Andis is unique in that it is very modern. The architecture is new and exciting; it's also very instagrammable. You can have a picnic outside with a chilled rose or semillon and they are currently building an extra structure just for outdoor events. The two people working the tastings were friendly and informative. We mentioned we were heading to Murphy's and received some really great suggestions. We tried some of the wines, bought a bottle and enjoyed it outside. Andy even came by to say hello! It was a really great experience and now at the pick up parties in Honolulu, I can say that I've been to the winery :)

In my opinion, they are doing so many things to enhance the wine tasting experience, it could blow away the competition. Examples are as follows: 1. Rebuilding, refinishing and updating the tasting room and facility. 2. Hiring the former Sous Chef from Taste restaurant to create food offerings/pairings and provide a small bite sample with wine tasting. 3. Display unique and unusual art in and around the property. (They have seven full size panels from the Berlin Wall adjacent to the tasting room.) 4. Staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 5. The wine pricing is reasonable when compared to the quality. 6. Both the food and wine are excellent. That said, I think the one possible stumbling point could be their attempt to blend in their east coast sister wines and styles with this region. It might be an interesting idea, but I am uncertain people locally will appreciate or understand the effort. The Amador wine region is not Napa Valley, and I don't think it possesses the international appeal, notoriety or demographics that will support the concept of bi-coastal wines. In any event, we will return to further experience the ongoing evolution of this remarkable winery.

I made…read morereservation in advance by email because no one answered the phone and no option to leave a message. When I got there, they didn't have my name for reservation. I had to show them the email confirmation. It was fine and we were still able to sit down right away. The inside wine tasting room is kind of small but the outdoor patio and area makes up for it. It is quite big and open. I think someone can host an outdoor concert or a wedding. We got to taste about five type of wines (Sauvignon Blanc and few blended red wine). They were all good. I particularly like the 2020 Interlude and purchased a bottle for my sister. We also got to sample from their gallery collection library club that's like 20+ years old ( I forgot the exact year) and that was special. They also have dumplings and spring rolls for purchase. I skip that because I wasn't sure if that would go with the wine. We bought some cheese with us and we had that with our wine. Of course, we asked for permission before bringing in our own cheese and crackers. The gentleman that served us was really nice and friendly. We didn't feel rushed and wine was poured at a good pace. I do want to mention that most winery at Amador will comp at least one tasting with purchase, but not at Di Arie. If you're not a member, be prepared to pay the full wine tasting fee per person.

It's a Terri blend of Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Syrah and Primitivo! The host and hostess were all very friendly and knowledgeable! And of course to meet and chat with the wine maker himself, Chaim, was a wonderful treat! The grounds were small, but very cute and relaxing. It made for a warm, friendly ambiance! Of course we walked away with a case of the Sierra and the 3 OG vintage wines! We're definitely coming back in a few weeks. Thank you Di Arie!

Apparently, this is the related winery to Villa Toscano located nearby, which we had previously visited. Once again, I found myself a fan of this place also! It too, is surrounded by eye pleasing countryside views, with lovely ponds, fountains, flowers and comfortable seating areas along the outdoor patios. The entrance opens into a large room where the tasting counter is at the far end. But before getting there, you are tempted on the way over to browse the retail area which features home decor, artwork, designer accessories, and clever wine connoisseur gifts. The walls are decorated with assorted flags and a family style crest over the focal point of the wine tasting bar. The wines offered on the wine tasting list were similar to what we had tried before at Villa Toscano. But we ordered another $5.00 flight that included our favorites along with a few we hadn't tried yet. We enjoyed the flavor variations, but had a hard time deciding on what to purchase, so we went outside for a while to take in the scenery and discuss which ones we liked the best. Bella Piazza also offers a wine club membership that includes discounts on wine, other products and a free lunch buffet every weekend.
