This will be my fourth return to Sonny's, and I will speak with the owner because it is obvious that the new owners are more interested in saving and in making more money by offering sub par fruits and vegetables. The Asian shopkeepers you got to know. And, you knew you were getting a wonderful product and that you did not mind spending the extra well spent money! I guess it is just a sign of the times -- make more and give less! The quality of the foods and veggies and so on has to be examined by the owners because it's so so obvious that corners were cut in order to it save some money. he's has a new vendor who subpar. And this is a sign of the times? Pop that up on quality put items in smaller containers pay top dollar and not care about the Royal following it originally had. It's all about the Almighty dollar! Most of us in commack did not blink an eye when we purchased this wonderful wonderful fruit from the original sunny forms. As he played classical soothing music we looked at the produce and the variety and money became inconsequential. It is not too late please go back to the vendors that you once had. The shift is hurting your business thank you

There is a store to purchase a bunch of pies and produce as well as stands where you can get some goodies like popcorn and cookies. The building all the way to the far right is accessible to the public and when you go in, it a spacious area with a bar. They are waiting on a liquor license so you can get your apple cider slushes and chill for a bit. Apples were available for picking but Bubs for tires by the time we walked over to U-pick. We will be back when the pumpkins are full grown for sure.

I sampled some of the available apples and they were not that sweet but I had already paid for the box ($67 for one peck) so I just picked the ones that were ok. I also picked lots of string beans, so it wasn't a complete waste. I was told it was a rip off but I enjoyed the experience. Fast forward a few days and now the apples are very sweet and crisp! Better than what you get at the supermarket for sure. The green beans are also fresh and not like the mushy bags you get at Trader Joe's. There's nothing like farm to table. They also have a nice bakery with excellent cheese bread and pies. Very fresh and warm when we bought them. The location is closer to Nassau and Manhattan than other farms on Long Island. We wanted to go to Milk Pail but it was a longer drive.

I brought my niece and nephew, and we easily had one of the funnest afternoons! The Barnyard Adventure is a paid area ($28.95 per person on weekends), but with eight acres packed full of things to do, it's worth every penny. To put the size in perspective ... it's like exploring six football fields lined up together! The highlights for the kids included getting up close with a variety of farm animals, a trike track, sports zone, and multiple playgrounds, pig races, a musical hayride ... there truly is something for all ages. The atmosphere is lively, especially with those pig races and musical hayride tours. My niece and nephew were totally engaged from start to finish. There are plenty of food stands throughout the property with the classic farm favorites. Apple cider donuts (my personal fav), popcorn, ice cream, and coffee stands for the grown-ups. Speaking of adults, a huge bonus is the vineyard right on the property. I treated myself to a glass of rosé to enjoy while the kids played, which was a nice addition. It does get busy, but the whole setup is well organized that it does not feel too crowded. Barnyard Adventure is one of those rare places that charms both kids and adults, making it a perfect fall or weekend family destination. I can't wait to come back next year for more memories (and donuts) with my niece and nephew!!

With access to leave and come back, which we loved, we enjoyed hayrides WITH a singalong! Animals, a lot of games, bounce pad and more. Everything was super clean and exactly what you think a farm should be hahahh. The workers were all sweet and kind. We did enjoy a cup of there chocolate chip cookie. Very good. You can bring in picnic food if you wish, but they had hot dogs and basics to purchase as well as a small farm stand in the front. I would highly recommend for families with children of various ages but more geared toward 10 and under. Cant wait to go back again this summer.
