I've been visiting Olish since the late 2010s. My favourite thing about this farm is their chickens! I love feeding them, they come up to me and peck at my feed to look for the animal food, such charming creatures! As for other things. There are many things you can buy here; pies, cookies (including The Farmer's Daughter gluten-free brand), ice cream, produce, fresh eggs, a few healthcare/self care items, and an entire side room filled with home goods. I love their Champagne Grapes! Too bad they're a seasonal item. The Elderberry Gummy Vitamins I bought from Olish are pretty good. They also have Magnesium Body Butter I use too, which works well. Their apples are delicious! The staff are the owners, and they are kind and willing to help if you need to find something. Also knowledgeable about which produce is in season. Place is also clean, including their bathroom. Finally, they also host a variety of events during the warmer months, like vendor events, under their large white tents outside. I've been to a few of them, the vendors are really good, and sell good quality products. Many of them are local small businesses, while a couple are like "Happy Chef". During the events in the Autumnal months you can buy a fresh Loaded Baked Potato from Olish's food stand, which I highly recommend, they're very delicious! read more

Was really pleased with this farm stand. It's a market inside! They sell fresh produce, dairy, meat, baked goods, honey, wonderful marshmallows and they have the cutest little home good section. Their selection of cheese rivals most grocery stores. I got 4 burrata there for $12, gourmet peppermint marshmallows, and produce fresher than king kullen. If you are taking the kids pumpkin picking and don't feel like paying the $15 entrance fees to some of those local farms this place will do just fine. read more

I've been going to Olish Farm since 2000 when I moved to Manorville. Olish has fresh fruits and vegetables all year round. Their corn muffins, fresh cookies and pies are the best!! They also have a varied selection of cheeses and other special sauces and products. I buy my flowers at Olish every year. Their Gift Shop has a beautiful selection of gifts, candles, decorative pillows and grapevine silk flower wreaths for your home. I highly recommend Olish as one of the best farmstands in the area. read more

The peach berry pie was out of this world-- impeccably fresh, ripe fruits, not drowned in cloyingly sweet syrup; light, flakey pie crust. It made every other peach pie I've had seem like a can of DelMonte sliced peaches dumped into a cardboardy, greasy, burned Pillsbury ready to bake pie crust. read more

Complete shady operation. Berries aren't local, but Driscoll repackaged, NO prices listed anywhere, NO itemized receipts available (even when requested), was over charged on two different occasions because the "register wasn't cleared" (barely an apology when it did happen), 4% upcharge for using a credit card (is this even legal?). Two stars only because their baked goods are good, if only the same was true of the people running the place. read more

Wonderful pies, full stop. But $7.99 per lb. for plain tomatoes, labeled "Amish" in a coy nod to their-trucked-in-from-PA origins, is a hard swallow. Paying just under $20.00 for 3 medium-sized 'matoes wouldn't pinch as much had at least some it gone into the pocket of a local farmer. In response to my visible sticker shock at checkout, the clerk replied that it's too early for local tomatoes and importing them from PA adds to the cost. But this isn't true: other popular East End stands have been selling locally-grown tomatoes since the 3rd week of July (Lathams, Wickhams, just to name a few). I appreciate that Olish Farm Country Market is more market than farm, with most of its produce purchased from off-site suppliers. But why on earth do they not buy from/support neighboring local farms in season and then misrepresent why they don't? read more

GREAT PIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Farm stand with fresh local fruit and produce. However, its the fresh baked PIES that I head there for. They give those guys on the north fork a serious run for their money and their pies are about $5 bucks cheaper. They make a Apple Maple Crust that is insane! Pre-order for the holidays otherwise they usually have a great selection without a big line like that other place. For a "farm stand" this place is ok. The prices are exorbitantly high but the produce is very very good. That's because their product is not locally sourced but flown in with expedited shipping from wherever the best of what your buying grows. That may be the best grape you ever tasted, but the carbon foot print is probably bigger than your car for the year. If that doesn't bother you, enjoy. But when I think of a farm stand, I think of field to table locally sourced sustainability. Maybe that is just me. But this place isn't a "farm". It is an industrial waste dump. I understand that farms will have a tractor plowing a field or a combiner gathering the harvest, but instead Olish's runs a top soil distribution center. They have large dump trucks idling all day long spewing diesel fumes into the air. They engage in heavy disruptive industrial activity at all hours of the day. If you go look at the land it's a mess of equipment and fuel tanks which more likely than not are leaching pollutants and heavy metals into Long Island's water system. These types of industrial activities have a place and that is to be removed from peoples' neighborhoods in a secluded area where they can operate without the toxic mess of their activities adversely affecting the tax paying residents of the town. But not this place. It masquerades as a "farm" to engage in heavy industry to skirt laws and regulations while price gouging everyone who walks through the doors. Brookhaven needs to shut this place down, and if they won't then the citizens of Long Island need to boycott this toxic dump and sorry excuse for a business. read more

Recently visited there for the first time. Surprised that they were no prices on the plants or the produce only to find out when getting up to the counter everything was exorbitantly overpriced! ( $15. Blueberries) Which of course explained the omission of pricing. To make matters worse none of the fruits or vegetables are actually grown on the farm. Everything is trucked in. I'm not really sure what their business is but it certainly is not farming. Thus the name farmstand is misleading. Very disappointed will not be returning there. read more

What I presumed to be the owner was walking around with no mask on. Fruit and vegetables are way overpriced. When I got home every piece of fruit that looked ok on the outside was rotted on the inside. The baked goods looked amazing but they are also way over priced. The flowers however look nice around the place. Spent over 30 bucks on two tomatoes some honey sticks and plumbs. Lucky my wife paid for it because I would of put everything back at that price. The best part is my wife shows me the receipt and it has a freaking service charge for using my debit. This place takes advantage of people. Never shopping there again. read more

I have shopped at Olish many times. I have shopped there 3 times since "the pause". The practices are not the best, to say the least. The first 2 times I attributed it to a learning curve. Today when I was there, a young woman was walking. around the store, no mask. She came within 2 feet of me and at least 2 other people and then went behind the counter. I asked if she needed a mask. The person behind the counter said "No, she is my daughter and just came back from the horses. She was there before I entered, and. was there till after I left. She needed to wear a mask. She is a de facto employee. Avoid place, its a COVID risk. read more

This farm stand is a delight to look at but grossly overpriced!! I purchased 6 donut peaches the other day for $8.99 (my mistake) and they were so mealy I could not even eat them. The attitudes of the workers are something to be desired as well. If you have lots-o-$$$ and don't care about the quality then its the place you want to go. read more

We had the caramel apple pie when my wife and I visited. I am not a fan of pies and don't really like them but this one was good. Usually I have to smother it in ice cream if someone is serving pie for desert but this was great. They also had some soups and a produce area, all of which was top notch. Definitely worth the trip. Just came out of Olish farm stand and I am not happy. Purchased 3 items and was being over charge for 2 of them. Brought it to the attention of the women at the cash register in a nice way and she was annoyed at me. Just handed me my change. No thank you no have a nice day nothing, I Don't get it. I've been here many times and I always bring my out of town friends to OLish before they head West. Recently been buying the Paul's Balls products here which are great. I know they sell them at other local places. May have to rethink my farm stand choice read more
