Alice & Amelia give Anderson Veterinary Clinic "5 Stars!"

I have used Anderson Veterinary Clinic for the last few years for so many of my pets & I couldn't be more thankful for the kindness and care they showed my fur babies. The vets are all so knowledgeable & kind, and really will take the time to answer any questions you may have. The vet techs are absolutely amazing- each of them are so sweet and caring but Wendy & Jennifer specifically have made my experience with Anderson Vet so awesome I really felt they cared about my animals as if they were their own. Even though we no longer live in the area, I recommend them to all my Redding/Anderson friends!

I am from SoCal but My pup got a fox tail removed here while we were in town for a month. Let's just say, If I lived in Anderson, this would definitely be my primary Vet. Everyone was so nice and caring, organized and very helpful. Any questions I had I would call and they would gladly assist. The vet was so gentle and loving to my pup. I love this place and wish I could bring my pup here for regularly check ups.

The Vet and Staff are amazing here. Found a malnourished dog the night before and went in to scan it to see if a microchip was there. Sadly not. The staff filled a triage form to get the stray seen. Called me in less than 1 hour with a urgent care appointment. I appreciate this facility and the staff here. Thank you!

Healthy and Happy - we LOVE our vet

I got my first Mini…read moreAussie, Maloha, from her in 2023 and brought home Matcha in 2025 and they are truly the best dogs ever. Both are happy, healthy, well-tempered, and honestly my little soul dogs. From start to finish, Kayla was amazing with communication. She kept me updated every step of the way with both puppies, answered every question I had, and made the entire process feel so easy and reassuring especially as someone who wanted everything done right. When I picked up my puppies, I was blown away by how prepared everything was. She provided a full puppy goodie bag with literally everything you could think of: detailed puppy folders with all health records, proof of genetic testing on the parents, family trees, first round of shots, deworming records, and so much more. On top of that, she included treats, puppy pads, toys, and even a blanket with their littermates' scent to help with the transition. It was clear how much care and intention she puts into her dogs. The little Whiskeytown Aussie bag was such a cute touch too. You can genuinely tell she loves what she does and truly cares about the puppies she raises and the families they go to. My experience was so incredible that I've had family members meet my dogs, fall in love, and end up getting their own puppies from her as well. 10,000/10 experience. I recommend her to absolutely everyone. I feel so lucky to have found her and to have my two best friends because of her.

This is a genetic disease that attacks their red blood cells, causing them to be lethargic, throwing up and peeing a copper color pigment. So if you got a Mini Aussie pup from her, litter number : ASDCA-M2503445. Sire: ASDM-CA-1800353, Dam: ASDT-CA-2203436. Date of birth 5/15/25. Be aware of your puppy if you got a puppy from this litter. I contacted the breeder and she hasn't responded. And we inquired about Soli, you can see that puppy on TikTok, but she's going to use her as a mom for a new litter of puppies, she could potentially have or pass on the gene of IMHA, please be aware. Poor Soli can have this illness triggered from her child birth. We didn't know he had it til he got neutered, a traumatic event like puppy birth can trigger it or even pass it on to other puppies. Response: genetics plays a part, I did not say it was a certainty, but their bloodline is more susceptible to this illness. My vet said otherwise, autoimmune diseases, are triggered but they are genetically predisposed.

We found the perfect dog, couldn't take him home as next day he had a surgery scheduled. They took such great care of him, and the team of veterinarians were fantastic and extremely informative. My cousin found a dog a few months ago, and my 10 year old daughter was with her when they found her- my daughter and I don't want her sitting in a shelter. We were in the process of moving from Sonoma County to Shasta County. To make a long story short, we are now living up in shasta county full time. Today I went into Haven for some guidance, and explaining I am happy to foster her in my home until she is adopted. I was immediately spoke to like I was stupid for not "knowing Haven's Rules.' Now that she has been in our care for over 30 days, Haven refused to help us. The rude girl in the back area kept poking her head out to add and repeat the same rude, condescending comments. I just thought it was really unnecessary and mean spirited- Questioning if I even found the dog in shasta county- as if it mattered at this point, because you already told me "here's what that means, it means we won't be taking the dog and that she's your responsibility." And yes, my cousin found here in Redding. WHAT IS HAPPENING?! I have been trying to rehome this great dog and keep her out of a kennel, but I have learned that that is a bad thing to do in Haven's eyes. I don't work at a shelter, and I don't know what the specifics rules are. I'm sorry that I messed up. I was just trying to help. We have adopted and fostered with Haven in the past when we lived in shasta county three years ago, but I left feeling very ignored, spoken down to, like I was stupid for not knowing Haven's rules (I know, how dare I not study the pamphlet before stepping foot in their building). I understand that there is basically an epidemic of stray animals in Shasta County, but how you speak to people should matter. Even if you're unpaid volunteering, please rethink your "good deed" if you are going to go out of your way to try and make people feel unintelligent, dishonest, and just overall icky. I'm very disappointed in how I was treated today by the two women in the very first building- the pregnant woman and the other woman that was working with her. Boo. You are supposed to be here to help people, and I left feeling invalidated, like I did a bad thing, and almost like I was in trouble or something. What the heck?
