He gave me a plan on what he would do, and I could tell he knew his stuff by virtue of remedying causal factors for the leaning, including improper drainage. I also had him look at a 1957 original kitchen exhaust blower that was now a dead end and fall hazard, wanting it taken down -- which I couldn't do safely on my own -- and a frustrating area where water would come into my office when it rained hard with a lot of wind. Jim said all the right things, and I was very happy with his quote. He communicated well via email about when he could come. He and his crew showed up and did a fantastic job. They bricked in the gap where the exhaust came out, properly insulating and sealing as they did so, and painstakingly addressed the likely factors in the water intrusion. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I wish I had had him work on my chimney a couple of years ago instead of a certain other company who overcharged me and reneged on a necessary service they had promised but carefully not included in the contract. He would have done a better job and charged me less.

After comparing similar jobs and pricing, we opted for the one day service and they went to work that evening, prepping for the widening and extension of areas, grading for identified low areas and staging for the following day. The job was delivered as quoted and turned out looking great. We did opt for one addition to the job but it was relatively inexpensive. Joey followed up throughout the job to ensure that expectations were being met and that we were pleased with the progress. The crew was on time as scheduled, respectful of the property and did excellent work. In the end, we were both pleased with the value, workmanship and end product provided by P&M Paving.

He answered all my questions and assured me it would be done right. They came to do my driveway and parking pad on August 19th. The project manager Joey tried to tell me I needed a drain and my sub-base was not sturdy. He tried to charge me TWICE AS MUCH as what I was quoted. I explained the drain was included in the estimate and the down spout was to be tied into the drain. I still paid more than the estimate was. They did not tie the down spout into the drain and the drain they installed is way smaller than it should actually be. They also did not seal the curb (which looks like they threw it together and is not cleaned up) or where the asphalt meets the parking pad. When I asked about the down spout when they were done I was told they could not do that. I reached out about the curb and was told someone would come back out. I heard nothing.... I also noticed the one side of the driveway is crooked and the asphalt is not even. They basically covered the cap that would need to access the gas line and dug into the one side and it is very close to the gas meter/line. They also abandoned their machine in front of my neighbor's house and the company they rented it from had to come pick it up several days later. Fast forward to August 23rd... we had sewage back up into our basement and garage (we have lived here 5 years and NEVER had this happen). I immediately sent and email with pictures and got no response. I had to have a plumber come out ON A SUNDAY. He discovered there was something blocking the fresh air pipe not allowing sewage to drain out to the outside line. I was informed the area would need to be excavated to access the pipe. I reached out to P&M immediately. I spoke to Corey who was very disrespectful to me )not only Sunday but also Monday morning). When I mentioned I would reach out to my attorney Corey said "You can do what you want to do. We will have this tied up in court for several years." I connected him to my plumber and his tone completely changed. The project manager or somone told my plumber that they inserted a 3 inch pipe into the 4 inch pipe which in fact was blocking the sewage from coming out of the house. Somone else was sent out Monday to remove the 3 inch pipe. And no surprise the line drained. I have reached out multiple times about getting reimbursed what was paid to the plumber, the hotel room we had to pay for Sunday night, as well as getting it scheduled for someone to come patch what had to be dug back up and have not received a response. At this point I would like to be refunded what I paid for this horrible job. I would not recommend this company for any service! They do not take accountability for the work they do and do not want to make things right when they are called out on their wrongdoing.
