venti chai and salina(?) biscotti thing
    Daren D.

Classy. Artsy. Relaxing. Warm. Friendly. Quirky. Cool. Beautiful. Musical. Great. Unique. Interesting. This is truly a gem in Seattle. Many small cafes share the same "similarly different" unique feelings and experiences but this place is ran by a man who's dealt with antiques for, if I recall, 40+ years. Mostly antique dealer, part coffee maker. I'd imagine this treasure trove of gorgeous multi-geographical pieces of amazing art is worth ridiculous value. The warm lighting helps accentuate the numerous wood pieces and garments. Nice, inviting and peaceful seating selection. You order what you want, enjoy it and then pay when all is said and done. I did have to go with some of my chai left, so he let me use a to-go cup - FYI: he automatically steams it again before putting in cup. I prefer my chai warm, so next time I'm going to say, "Just pour it in the cup, no steaming." He joked, 'Oh, sorry, now you'll have to wait 15 minutes for it to cool down." The Salina biscotti thing was ok but a bit to hard. Fun and quirky reads on the shelves, too.

    Inside looking out.

A decent cappuccino in an interesting shop. It's full of Asian silks and object de arts. Many masks to view and buy. The owner was quite nice while I was there. However, there was no A/C if that makes a difference.

I highly recommend the Mocha Breve, it is absolutely the BEST coffee drink I've ever had!

This place is so unbelievably rare and special, everyone should stop by to get a taste for the real Seattle coffee. Never mind the chains and the popular coffee shops, this under the radar coffee spot hits the nail on the head! The mocha breve is the best espressos drink you'll ever had. So glad we stumbled across this rare gem.

Great coffee. The owner Roland is a wonderful character and some of the best selection of kimonos for the price!

The high ceilings and spaciousness of its warehouse-style space contribute to a viewing experience unlike that of the galleries in Pioneer Square proper. Knowledgeable, friendly staff of three. The outdoor gallery on the second floor towards the back is outstanding, with its haunting brass (or copper) scupture by Will Roninson, set against a view of the steeply rising embankment/Firehouse/southern view towards King Street Stataion.

The reality is they were extremely far away from my camera, and nowhere near being visible in the shot. On top of that, I was questioned about shoplifting while I was just minding my business with a small side bag. It felt like I was being singled out and profiled for no reason. The interaction came across as very passive-aggressive and honestly felt like racial harassment. No one should feel watched or accused while just existing and creating content peacefully. They have a great cat/dog toy section! The store features art and goods from local artists and there's so much cute stuff. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes perusing all the goods. I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. Also can be a fun way to while away some time if you're waiting for your seat in the above restaurants.  Also I just learned they have a website  https://thehandmadeshowroom.com/ so apparently I don't have to be in Seattle to shop their goods! Free shipping on orders over $50.
