The staff were incredibly helpful in this well set up and displayed studio. We wish we were locals so that we could take advantage of the amazing glasswork! We left with a few smaller items that could make it home, but we highly encourage others to shop here for that pop of color most homes need!

Why go to Chihuly if you can walk around this studio? Friends and I stopped by here as a part of our art walk. We don't own yet so we weren't really serious buyers. It's a treat to walk around here. I suggest don't miss it if you are in the neighborhood.

I recently called a different glass blowing place in Seattle, and was told that it cost $75. To watch. I then called the Glass House on 311 Occidental Avenue, near Union Station... and was told that it was FREE to watch them blowing glass!!! I took a group of friends, and it was the highlight of our day. The 2 men that were working the molten glass, were amazing at their talent/ability. It was entertaining also. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice store with a glass studio located within. This place deserves a visit to witness the artisans creating glass art, lamps and artifacts.

This is a beautiful shop they have amazing glassware, mostly lampshades and vases and plates. They blow the glass on site and it makes for a spectacular demonstration to see them heat elements to thousands of degrees and then shape it into some creative artifact. It is a bit overpriced in my view, but if you'd like a keepsake or a gift they have many options.

The high ceilings and spaciousness of its warehouse-style space contribute to a viewing experience unlike that of the galleries in Pioneer Square proper. Knowledgeable, friendly staff of three. The outdoor gallery on the second floor towards the back is outstanding, with its haunting brass (or copper) scupture by Will Roninson, set against a view of the steeply rising embankment/Firehouse/southern view towards King Street Stataion.

The reality is they were extremely far away from my camera, and nowhere near being visible in the shot. On top of that, I was questioned about shoplifting while I was just minding my business with a small side bag. It felt like I was being singled out and profiled for no reason. The interaction came across as very passive-aggressive and honestly felt like racial harassment. No one should feel watched or accused while just existing and creating content peacefully. This experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, and I hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future.

We had lunch at Ba Bar at U-Village then came to the gallery to walk off our lunch and take in a lot of interesting, diverse art. The gallery now offers FREE admission to everyone (thanks in part to 4Culture), whereas before it was only free to UW students, faculty, and staff. What I like about the Henry is the curation. They always have intriguing and interesting exhibits that are grouped well and have just enough art pieces for you to see and take in without getting overwhelmed. The space is clean, well lit, and pretty minimalist. Also like that they have a cute little cafe, City Grind, with both indoor and outdoor seating. On this visit, we were impressed by the exhibit by Diné artist Eric-Paul Riege (b. 1994, New Mexico). Riege's tactile sculptures of jewelry and other objects were HUGE and a cool sight to behold. A sign said that some sculptures could be touched gently which I fully took advantage of because these giant soft sculptures just called out to be touched. It's a terrific exhibit and is showing until October 25, 2026. Go see it while you can!

They have a great cat/dog toy section! The store features art and goods from local artists and there's so much cute stuff. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes perusing all the goods. I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. Also can be a fun way to while away some time if you're waiting for your seat in the above restaurants.  Also I just learned they have a website  https://thehandmadeshowroom.com/ so apparently I don't have to be in Seattle to shop their goods! Free shipping on orders over $50.
