What I heard makes me want to stop buzz cutting my own hair and make an appointment. Unfortunately, my frugal nature prevents that, but I like what Mr. Walker is advocating in his shop. We need more of that in this divided country. I Especially like the no-profanity policy and the fact it is a place you can hear the "other" point of view without anger. Everyone was so cool to talk to and I immediately felt as though I was from Chambersburg as well. I had my beard trimmed and he wouldn't let me pay for it. He told me to pay it forward. That was the first of many for my oldest grandson, 16 years later, he's still ONLY going to Mr J's Barber Shop with his PopPop, but today they added a third! Mr J's Barber Shop is tradition, it's family, and it's been a solid business in Chambersburg for decades! I should mention, haircuts by appointment! Yes! He's THAT good!
