It's been a few years since my last review, and today as I took my 5 year old grandson for his first "real" haircut, I had the warmest memory of his oldest brother, my oldest grandson, at 3 years old, leaving out the door holding his PopPop's hand on the way to get his first haircut at Mr J's Barber Shop! That was the first of many for my oldest grandson, 16 years later, he's still ONLY going to Mr J's Barber Shop with his PopPop, but today they added a third! Best cut in a long time. Visiting from out of town. Will most definitely visit next time I'm in town.

In from out of town and wanted cleaned up. Called in and they said they were having a busy day but accommodated me anyway. They were all friendly; and Sharif took great care of me. Stuck the landing with the haircut and the beard trim at a fair price to boot. Solid five stars. read more

My mans pushed back my hairline like 2 inches. I'm down horrendous, by the time it's 2025 my hairline gonna take a vacation permanently. Mr.D is lowkey fire Ngl but Mr.J did me dirty, he did the haircut and was like ye lets get this man bullied. Sincerely, a random customer with a pushed back hairline. Thank you, and please don't do anyone dirty like you did to me. I've been here several times while visiting and have always been mpressed with the quality of service and price. I stopped by yesterday to get a cut and was told I needed to make an appointment due to Covid. I asked for a card, called in and made an appt for 230 today with Dee. I arrived at around 2:15 and was told he was running behind and he had another cut before me. I was a little frustrated and i guess he picked up on that and he said is that a problem? I said what choice do I have? He said the other guy would wait and then started running his mouth about how people get upset, blah blah blah. This isn't the shop for me. I told him he could go ahead and do the other guy, I would be finding somewhere else to get my hair cut.¹¹¹q¹q qwerty¹1qqt He then started yelling I said I would take you first and I said I've already waited 24 hours and jetted!! This young man has a lot to learn about business and even more about manners and respect. I've always tried to support the downtown businesses and local small business owners. Got cut by the 1st barber on the left. Let's just say that I'm still in the hunt for a good barber.

I took my three sons for cuts and all the barbers are professional and my boys were happy.

This is by far my favorite place to get a quality haircut whenever I'm in PA. Every barber is highly skilled and professional. The shop is clean, and comfortable. My son loves it as well and we are always treated like family. I highly recommend if you are looking for the best barbershop in town. read more

Outstanding Barber Shop!! Mr. J's Barber Shop provides timely and accurate service!.. If you are looking for a sharp shape up and a fade that actually fades!
