We've been customers for nearly five years and have been happy with our servicemen weekly disposable removal. Our annual fees were upcoming and when I attempted to sign into the payment portal I was unsuccessful. I emailed them and promptly received a response call from "David". He was polite, eager to assist, patient and talked me through the link to access my account. With juggling life, I wanted to ensure garbage collection fees were paid as one more thing on the to-do list was done. our trash at 1700 Yates Store Road, Cary, NC was not picked up on Wednesday. On Friday our trash can was partially picked up (one bag) the rest of the trash remained in the trash can. The can and the remaining trash were thrown in the ditch upside down. My husband and I had to remove everything from the ditch. I called your office the same day and was told that everything would be picked up today (Saturday). NO PICK UP WAS MADE. OUR TRASH IS FULL. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM. read more

Some days they show up at 7am some days at 6 pm and other days not at all. I watch the Edwards disposal company show up next door every week like clockwork at 7 am . You can almost set your watch by them. read more

I would not recommend this service to anyone. They failed to pick up my trash and gave no notice of the failure until we complained. When they showed no remorse, I cancelled my service with them and asked for a refund of my already PAID service. Customer service lied twice and gave me two different dates that they issued me a refund, and said it showed that I collected the payment. My bank verified twice that no refund payment had been received, and that information was provided to Anchor Disposal. They sent a photo of the bank payment I made to them in September, and said that was my refund. They no longer take my phone calls or even made an effort to make a payment to me directly for the refund. I was polite to them in the beginning about this, but no longer. I am telling it like it is. They are deceptive and can care less about their customers. Beware of this organization. A fraud claim has been filed against them by my bank, the BBB service has been contacted with a complaint, and web rating services have been updated. When I first moved in they offered me a move in special. But didn't specify that it had to all fit in the garbage can. I had three trash bags containing move in blankets. They did not pick it up saying they couldn't fit it in trash can. Upon receiving this information I EASILY fit the trash bags in the trash for them to pick up. There is no way they gave this ANY effort. I spoke with staff who dismissed me and basically said if it's any effort for the trash man, it won't be done! Not only that, after a year of their service they were NEVER on a schedule. Our trash got picked up on random times and even days! Our trash day was Friday. Sometimes it would be at 8 am. Sometimes 12, 2, 5??? Apparently whenever they feel like it. Or NOT AT ALL. Maybe they'd come Saturday, Sunday? It's a gamble. Just hope a storm doesn't come in the meantime to knock over your trash. Or you need your trash can.... You're better off paying a dump fee and taking it yourself. Paying for this companies "services" is a JOKE. It's insanely unacceptable to the community! read more

So far so good. We were originally customers of Bullseye Sanitation until switched to Anchor Disposal. I was initially weary about the switch since we liked Bullseye Sanitation and wanted to stay with them. They were a small, local company with great customer service. We have now been with Anchor Disposal I believe about a year. They are affordable and reliable. They are a larger company, but still easy to contact and quick to resolve issues. Our trash day stayed the same and they arrive about the same time. You pay quarterly with the option to pay online. It is easy and quick and they send bills via email. Only negative is that they leave the trash can in various places, sometimes blocking the driveway and the lid has been warped. I try to bring in the empty can soon after the trash is picked up so it is not too much of an issue. The lid doesn't close quite right, but it is getting better. During one of the recent pick-ups the lid was twisted the other way so it is nearly back in its original position. Overall, we have had a good experience with Anchor Disposal and recommend them to others. read more

My neighborhood HOA picked this company so we fewer trucks running through the neighborhood so I am stuck with them for the moment or would be changing services. The trash pickup schedule itself has been fine. However, they do not get all of the trash out of the cans. I had an envelope stuck at the bottom and I sent them an email to please make sure to get it out. They blatantly refused, citing that it would be a safety issue. Really, they actually said it was a safety issue to get paper out of the can! They shoved their policies at me telling me all the trash had to be bagged and that I needed to get it out myself or pay them $60 for a new can. The lack of customer service and tact was offensive. My perspective is simple, I put the trash in the can and lug it to the curb. I expect any garbage service to get it out and take it away. I don't think that is asking too much. read more

This company is a joke! Driver misses my trash pickup quite often, I call the office and speak to a female who claims she is the office manager but yet constantly calls the customer a liar. They have an excuse for everything and it's always "driver error". I called last week to cancel service with them and was told to place both containers at the end of my driveway and they would be picked up "sometime next week". Both containers have been at the top of my driveway since last Tuesday 5/30/23 and still not picked up. Called yesterday mid afternoon and was told the driver would be there to get them today (yesterday) and they are still there. I called this morning and was told they contacted the driver and he told the office that as of yesterday at 5:15pm the containers were "not visible". What a joke! Not visible?? They've been sitting beside my mailbox for over a week, is the driver blind? Maybe you should hire competent employees out in the field and office staff who don't call paying customers liars and make excuses for your screw ups! Word of mouth spreads just FYI. read more
