To say I am disappointed in ANCHOR COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT, most specifically, Colleen Scott, sole Proprietor, would be an understatement. This company respects one party only, and that is the Board of Directors that pays her 28,900.00/annually to
patronize and arrogantly tell homeowners who are in good standing that they have no
right to report Code Enforcement Violations to the City of Camarillo for illegal garage conversions, harassment to previous and current homeowners, and chronic parking violators without feeling like we were "inconveniencing" her. A member of her staff
even hung up on a Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer Patient who has never, ever paid his
Dues late and was trying to understand why ANCHOR COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
did not even attempt to facilitate the name of a resident located at one of the residents who was currently under CAMARILLO POLICE investigation for attempting to run over his wife, and his wife and daughters beloved family pet.
She did not want to get involved! Even though the POLICE DEPARTMENT said that
the Property Manager could assist with locating the name of the unknown party living
in the Garage who walks the sidewalks sometimes at 3AM in the morning allegedly
under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
DO NOT USE this Property Management company unless you want to be treated
rudely, arrogantly and without forethought to a family who is battling cancer and
who does not want to be told that the POLICE said she is not doing her job as a
Property Manager.
This Company also fails to get more than a handful of members at the VINA DEL MAR Board of Directors meetings, and has failed on several occasions to get a quorum to elect a new Board of. Directors. She appears to only spit out boilerplate minutes on
meetings, and boilerplate newsletters that have non-factual information like..,.we are
helping keep your property values up. That is the biggest crock I have ever heard from
this woman. She also puts down local Real Estate Companies because she says she
devotes herself exclusively to Property Management. When in fact, she devotes herself to "passing the buck" of responsibility even though City officials and Law
Enforcement say she is responsible, she also defers everything to the Board, or
as I would like to say. ...Why should I lift a finger, I am only getting a retainer of
$29,800 per year. I would recommend Executive Property Management who always has over 100 homeowner members of the Victoria Estates association come to every meeting, and they always have a quorum to vote in or out New Board Members.
Colleen Scott you need a refresher course on etiquette with the lifeblood of small
business, the customer, because you alienate customers with your lack of empathy,
your irritated disposition, and your arrogance. read more
