History
Established in 2014.
In 2005, I began studying Mantic Arts with Liu Ming, founder of Da Yuan Circle and Five Branches University. Shortly after, I enrolled in Acupuncture and Integrative College, Berkeley to learn the medical aspect of this ancient worldview. I began to apply my study of the Chinese almanac clinically by contextualizing people in space and time with biodynamic acupuncture.
My style of practice is highly intuitive with a strong foundation in traditional East Asian theory. I practiced orthopedic medicine with Olympic and collegiate athletes at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as internal medicine at AIMC, Berkeley. I apprenticed with Dr. Robert Levine, who heals the world with unparalleled grace and terrible jokes, as well as Dr. Kalsang Wangyal, a Tibetan monk enlisted by the Dalai Lama to practice Tibetan medicine. I treat a broad spectrum of issues from pain to cosmetic acupuncture, but I particularly love treating women's health and ancestral health.
Meet the Business Owner: Erin L.
My people are Celtic, Ashkenazi, Germanic, Frank, Anglo-Saxon, and the peoples of the Caucasus mountain range and Eurasian steppe.
I first knew that I wanted to be a healer when I was 11 years old. My maternal grandmother and I saw a show about a little girl who could heal people while she was asleep. The girl's mother brushed her long, black hair as people gathered around the bed to be healed. Something came alive in me instantly, and I knew I wanted to do that.
I graduated from Naropa University in 2006 with a degree in Indigenous Mind, where I worked with elders around the world while recovering my native European identity and traditions. My experiences at Naropa initiated me into a lifelong process of decolonization. I work with dreams and ancestors as expressions of wholeness. Ancestral studies merge naturally with my acupuncture practice, as our bodies are expressions everything that has come before us.
