Based on all my calls I realized a 3000+lbs safe with no combinatation/keys and 3 locks is going to be a lot harder to get rid of than I thought. When I called Outlaw they advised they couldn't do it, however Scott pointed us to a company who he said he trusted was capable of doing it. I think a key part in why his company is so successful and why you see such a great rating is because it is an honest company who understands their capabilities but also shares and highlights others in the industry who may be able to help. Not only did he gain our loyalty, earn our trust and successfully build credibility for his company but now when I need service for my personal safe at home, Outlaw will be the company I call. Although we didn't directly use his services, he provided the best customer service and has gained a future client for other safe needs. Honestly, it's no wonder Scott is so highly spoken of. Thank you again Scott.

I could not be happier with my purchase at a reasonable price. The 1000 pound safe came with all of the extras (e.g. lights, bolts, etc.). I received the safe in working order and was pleased with its quality workmanship. However; down the road when the S&G mechanical combination failed to retain set manufacture settings; I was no longer able to open my safe and now left with contents locked inside. I tried the allowing for drift; going +/- 2 on the dial and still wouldn't open. Contacted Format; only to have them say they don't service them they are just the manufacture; gave me the number of someone that might be of help but that number was not in service. So I am left with having to contact a locksmith that will charge $160 for drift method; which I have already attempted; then $360 for drilling into my Quality American made safe because there is no service department or helpful advice from Format. Very disappointed in my purchase from Format USA. As of the time of this review; I have a locksmith working on the safe to gain access into my safe that is currently a very large and heavy paperweight. At least the guns are safe; too bad I can't access any of them if I needed too.

Unfortunately, the gentleman I dealt with was rude, dismissive, and acted as though helping me was an inconvenience. I showed him the type of electronic keypad deadbolt I was looking for, similar to one I already have, and was quoted around $400. I had already been looking at comparable options elsewhere for substantially less, so the price surprised me. I don't mind paying more at a specialty store for expertise, selection, and good service. In fact, that's exactly why I went there instead of a big-box store. But if I'm going to pay a substantial premium, I certainly don't expect to be treated rudely in the process. I left without buying anything and will purchase the lock elsewhere. The poor customer service was ultimately a much bigger issue for me than the price.
