Visiting downtown Oakland area and saw their sign. Thought give it a try and dropped in for one hour session. Not sure how it would be before entering, but turned out it was very good experience. They didn't advertise their prices correctly- website showed same price for Swedish & Deep tissue massage under a promo, but deep tissue was $10 more when I asked about it in person. They are understaffed and not actually ready to accept walk-in customers. The owner had to give me the massage herself, and she kept interrupting the session to make calls to her employee. She walked away at least 7-8 times, sometimes for minutes! Despite this, she didn't make up for the lost time and counted it against my 60-min session. She was rude to her employee on the phone too. Do not recommend. Not professional. Asked for a two-person massage and said could only do after 6:30pm. When I said that was fine she said to come "AFTER" 6:30pm, which I did. Finding safe parking was hard and by the time I showed up it was about 6:42pm. I didn't think too much of the time and didn't think it would be a problem because she said she could only do AFTER 6:30pm. When I got there she said she couldn't take us because she took someone else and could only accommodate for one of us if needed and the other one to wait the hr. That for sure isn't ideal. She said I should have called her I was still coming, I said same, she and I were texting back and forth and she could have asked. Horrid experience overall. Walked in, said it would be about 15 minutes 25 minutes pass and an woman who I did not speak with came in. Provided a massage that is comparable to one you might get from a mouse. Unfocused, she ended the massage 30 minutes before the hour was up. I expressed the time issue and since I already paid, she said she would give me $10 back. Fed up with my experience there, I said fine and left. THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I called to verify if an appointment was needed because I am just visiting for work and didn't know the area. I have been traveling nonstop for work and needed a massage. She told me I could come by and I said i would be there on 15-20 min. On my way there I realized my phone was about to die so I made sure to take my charger with me to charge at the location. I knocked on the door and she proceeded to scold me that I was late. I explained that my phone died and I am unfamiliar with the area. She told me I would have to wait which was fine as she was finishing up another client who came in. Fine....no worries. She wrapped up with him and came in demanding the prepayment of the massage. I told her that I never do that and handed her my credit card. She said cash only. I didn't have the cash so I proceeded to leave. I figured I really needed the massage so I went across the street to the grocery store and bought something to get cash back. I returned to the location and handed over the $45. She got angry and rude when i didn't include a tip before services rendered. She started to yell and argue with me and kicked me out so I took the money from her hand and left. Why would I tip you before you provide the service. Are you going to base ny service on your tip size? Never go to this place. Not worth the hassle. read more

I called ahead and went there the day B4 Thanksgiving for a 1 hour full body massage. It was my first time there and the experience was excellent. The rooms are very quiet, clean, and comfortable. After a 5 min wait I was showed to one of the massage rooms. Lily did a very thorough and relaxing massage and after about 40 min asked if I wanted a face massage. I chose to go with a foot massage which was wonderful. She offered me some water, I left her a well deserved tip and was on my way. Will definitely visit them again to sooth sore muscles and general feel-good session. They seem to be moderately busy, one guy left shortly after I arrived and another called and was told to arrive sometime after my own session ended. read more

Went here after a long holiday weekend to wind down and de-stress. Saw the 1hr massage special banner in front of the place and decided to check it out. For $40 what can go wrong? Entrance was locked but had a little doorbell by the door. mid aged chinese lady answers the door albeit confused. Told her me and my gf wanted massages and she said $40 up front but cash only. Weird, they had a sign that said credit card payments are an additional $2. So i tell her to start on my gf and i walked towards the atm machine a block away. Came back and my gf was still just sitting there. The lady didnt start anything...it was really hard to communicate with her because she barely spoke english or none at all... Nevertheless, the moment we paid her, she took us to individual massage tables separated by curtains. Massage was mediocre at best. The ones you see in the mall was better. Her cell phone in her pocket rang once and she answered it, and also another doorbell ring halted her massage to answer the door...disappointed by the massage altogether at this point. At the end, my gf said she had a good massage and seemed pleased so i proceeded to give a $10 tip but they kinda gave us a "look" and kind of blocking the locked exit....so i dug in my wallet for my $$ and gave the other person as well but felt kind of pushed and uncomfortable with it. I took my mom here for her birthday so we could both get massages. I called and made an appointment at 5pm and the lady told me it would be $45 each for an 1 hour massage. We got there and the first thing she tells me is that it'll be $55 each because of a mandatory $10 tip. I was frustrated with having to tip before the massage even begun but I paid and my mother and I were taken into 2 separate rooms. Although it was my first professional massage, I was extremely unimpressed. The woman talked to me a lot of the time asking personal questions which made it impossible to relax and enjoy the actual massage. The room was also very cold with a small heater that didn't seem to be helping at all. I also noticed that she barely used any oil and instead opted for Johnson's Baby lotion. She walked in and out of the room three times and stopped the massage to converse many times which only amounted to less than 40 minutes of actual massaging.
