Antipasto - fresh and flavorful.
David P.

Ordered take out from Italian Affair tonight - this restaurant is by far the most consistent pizza restaurant in town and definitely first or second for the quality of their products. Tonight's order was a large Italian Stromboli and an antipasto. The Stromboli is our favorite type - salami, ham and pepperoni with sauce and mozzarella. Large enough to feed four and done perfect. The antipasto was good - crisp lettuce, black olives, onions, tomatoes and salami and provolone florets and a nice dollop of tuna in the middle.

Food truck in Florida for pizza (:

I'm from New York and moved to Florida. I've had a lot of different pizza here in Florida so far, but it's nice to just enjoy a regular cheese slice and tastes like it's actually from New York. Deff would eat at this food truck again.

Amazing pizza! Great service and friendly staff!!! This is the broccoli pizza! It is delicious!

Outstanding pizza! Friendly staff!!! The broccoli pizza is the best!! Crust is cooked to perfection! Price is reasonable! Would definitely recommend!!!

Turkey bacon club wrap with no lettuce for $7.75
Adison B.

Changing my review, the first couple of times ordering here everything was perfect. The last 3 times ordering I've had so many issues, I will not be returning. My husband and I order $7.75 wraps from here, keep in mind the subs are the same price. So my wrap was quite big and actually filling and good for $7.75. My husbands sub was a Turkey Bacon Club wrap for $7.75 and he wanted no lettuce. So it gets delivered 10 minutes later then it was supposed to, we open up our food and my husband wrap wouldn't even feed a child. There was no turkey and was literally just crumbles of tomato and crumbles of bacon and some odd sauce that tastes like nothing. *** If your going to order wraps, keep it in mind they just fill them up with cheap lettuce to make them look bigger. Go to Stewart's for a bigger wrap for $7.75**

Walked Into this place looking for some decent priced italian food. The menu offers a few italian items, along with similar subs, sandwhiches, and burgers. Pizza of course, but I didn't try it this time. So sorry pizza people. Its faster Italianish/Americano. A typical menu for pub grub with flair. Place was nice and clean, especially the bathrooms, which are pretty big in my book (women sit, and everyone poops.) Just remember, the lights to the bathrooms are outside, not within the door. One half of the dining room is made up of long stretch of parallel tables, and splitting the middle, takes you to the other side. Similar setup, but with an open server station near the kitchen door. I don't mind it, but I can see others (which I did today) get frustrated. The service was pretty damn good. We were greeted at the door, told to sit, and greeted again immediately. The server was very nice and attentive, even though, throughout our stay, the place got slammed. We may have been 1 of four tables, and left with a wait. These girls worked well together and did a very good job. They do have beer and other drinks, I had a blue. Little guy had a chocolate milk in a bottle (16 grams of protein...) And a water. Didn't hear soda selection cause the ice machine was down. We ordered a sampler to come out first, typical fried mushrooms, an onion pedal, mac n cheese triangle, and mozz sticks/bites. Not bad, served with marinara sauce, but pub-like. Follwed came a Broccoli Chicken Alfredo, and a Chicken Bella (per my asking of the chefs favorite) The Alfredo was not really flavorful. Sure there was broccoli and chicken, which were done nicely, but the perfect aldente pasta was ruined by a lack of sauce. A little more sauce would have gone a really long way. As for the Bella, the chefs request, I was also a bit disappointed. The sauce this time was mush better, the chicken present, but I would have preferred maybe a tad bit more cream, and perhaps red bell pepper strips, not only for garnish but for a good sweet moisture burst ever so often. But still, I did like my dish. Would I return? Yes, they did well enough, and brought dough for my child to play with before lunch was served, so I will definitely be back to try a pizza. I hear they have it good. But until next time... (1-20) Service - 18 Outstanding! Ambience - 15 Nice and quaint, pick your side wisely Location - 18 Plenty of parking, easy access Food - 12 Par, but probably great for mass majority, keep in mind, many chefs know that salt is different with all, so rememberit's always on the table. And parm cheese here too. Big plus! Price - 12 Okay for the worth, sandwiches are priced well. Fed 2 and a half people, $45 with 2 beers.

Didn't really like this place, quality of food was poor and far from what I would consider to be Italian.

I was looking forward to ordering food from Sergi's since we moved here over 2 years ago from…read moreBoston. The place was definitely hopping busy so my hopes for the food were so very high. I love to find a mom and pop place I could be loyal to but I am afraid my first experience was just ok. I had no problem waiting a hour and 10 mins because they weee very busy. The staff were very nice when I came to pick up my food. So no problems like others have stated in past reviews. We all have good days and bad days so I never judge the experience on staff alone. The Food: The veal parm sandwich with salad was ok- the veal was prepared properly as it was soft and moist ( they must of soaked it in milk). The flavor- was ok and the bread was very good and held up as a sandwich. The Zucchini Fries were tasteless and a great deal of water came through every bite. They were not seasoned properly- it is almost like you have to over season to help with not just taste but to absorb the water from the veg. The combo appetizers were also not seasoned. In a good note, the cheese sticks were nice. The wings were very small and dry, not enough sauce on them. The mushrooms held up well. Would I go again, I think I will try because of the good reviews I have read on YELP. Also the pizza being made right in the front looked good. I hate leaving harsh reviews but maybe it could he taken not as negative but helpful.

I feel like the waitress has worked there for 100 years, prompt, efficient and a really authentic Italian accent. We ordered veal parmigiana, veal Marsala and rigatoni for the meal. Warm bread and salads accompanied the entrees. It's always dark inside the dining room but the veal is flavorful and tender. Nice meal.

The staff was very friendly and stayed busy with lots of locals, but also quite a crowd from the local university grabbing a bite to eat. The ambiance is your typical small Italian Restaurant, tiled walls and floors, Italian themed decorations and also pictures of the Sergi family which is a nice touch. The front entrance area is for take out or eat in and where they make pizza, then in the back is a dining area with wait staff for service and behind that the kitchen. They also have a large room on the side for events/banquets. I found out after my first visit you can park behind the building in a free local municipal lot and enter through a back entrance. Ok down to the food - The wings were delicious - fresh chicken, crisped just right with a perfect house sauce. The sauce is thick, (has to be cut with butter) and was just delicious, I would literally put that s^&t on everything lol. The pizza was also excellent - round style Neapolitan with a soft yet crisp crust, delicious cheese and the sauce was slightly sweet (hello San Marzano's!) just how I like it. There was definitely flavor and spice in the sauce. The pizza rolls were addictive and not for anyone trying to lose weight. Back home they would call it an inside out, but I found these to be tastier. At our last dinner before leaving down, I tried out a stuffed pepper that came highly recommended. It was a meal unto itself, fresh stuffed Bell Peppers with rice and meat topped with cheese and sauce. My family and I were stuffed and really enjoyed the food and hospitality we received at Sergi's. We got to meet a good portion of the staff which included multiple generations of the Sergi family. Good people with big hearts who make some killer food. Thanks guys!!

By far the best restaurant in Northern N.Y. I dined here with my family recently for a very special…read moreoccasion and we all really enjoyed our experience. Pro's of the Restaurant: - Nice Bar layout - Great Dining Room, and separate private dining room - Good Quality Food - Approachable menu with lot's of great offerings - Nice Signature touches (the noodles and the pre-set cole slaw, etc on the table) - Approachable, and Affordable Wine List - Very Friendly Staff (including a very charming bartender) - Reasonable prices for the Quantity and Quality of the food. - Nice Local Craft Beer selection - in particular, we enjoyed the Lake Placid IPA. Suggested areas of improvement: - When you turn off the light in the men's restroom, it turns off the bar light - Very poor setup, and an easy fix. - The artwork in the private dining room is dated New York City photos. My suggestion is to update the artwork to local Northern New York photos. This place is no where near New York City and should not try and emulate it. The best part of this place is to get away from the City and enjoy a local Country Dining Experience. - Upgrade your glassware - Red Wine Glasses should be larger, and different from the White Wine glass. Beers should be served in a nicely chilled tall glass. - Have a server assistant or a 2nd server on larger parties so that the service is more efficient and seamless. Less delays during the courses. - The Coconut Shrimp appetizer comes with a plastic container (like the ones you get at Wendys or Burger King). This should be placed in a nice white ramekin. Overall a very nice experience for Northern New York, we will be back when in the area.
