I live north of Dallas, TX. Went to the website (through the funeral home webpage) and was impressed by the selection available. I chose a blue and white basket with an angel and a sympathy card. The order was placed easily and the price was very reasonable. I was given an order confirmation and receipt within hours. The afternoon of the visitation, I texted my friend to offer support and he sent me a picture of what I had ordered. The flowers were gorgeous and I was so glad they could bring beauty to a sad occasion. He told me that they were beautiful. The picture shows it. Thank you Flowers and Fancies.

I prefer supporting local businesses so when it came time to order flowers for my mother's December…read morebirthday, I placed what was perhaps my second or third order at Flowers & Fancies. I placed the order online, scheduled pick up, and moved on with my life. Unfortunately, I received an email about 5 days before I was due to pick up the arrangement essentially advising that my selection was no longer available because the flowers wouldn't be in season the month of December. Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. The arrangement provided is gorgeous and makes the one I ordered from a large corporation just doesn't compare. Thank you to Heather and the Flowers & Fancies team for making it right. I look forward to supporting in the future.

She was extremely accommodating and made absolutely perfect arrangements (see photos). Our guests are still raving about the flowers two months later! We had a morning ceremony and a brunch reception, so Maria prepared the boutonnieres for pickup the afternoon before and went to the reception venue the morning of the wedding to decorate the cake and place the arrangements. I am simply stunned by her generosity and supportive spirit throughout the process. Truly delightful. And, for those of you wondering, her pricing is extremely reasonable (no upcharge for saying "wedding!"). I would have paid more and expected less from anyone else. Maria absolutely exceeded our best hopes, and I am so grateful that she was a part of our special day!

I went ahead and reached out to them to provide flowers for my mom's 60th birthday. I had organized a small dinner in a private room at the Tabard Inn in Dupont. Communicating with Maria was super easy as she always was quick in her responses. She also delivered my flowers earlier that day and let me know where they were etc. I would definitely use Darling & Daughters again- and will definitely recommend them!

The arrangement itself was beautiful, but it started to wilt less than 3 days later. The lilies never fully bloomed and most remained closed while the rest of the bouquet wilted. It was beautiful, I just wish it would have lasted longer. Also, when I took the flowers out of the vase to throw away, I noticed that the red "love" vase that it came in was chipped and cracked on the lip of the vase. I had to get rid of the vase, too. This is my only experience with this business, so I am willing to give them another shot.

I ended up coming in closer to 5. An older lady came up and helped. I picked flowers for 2 bouquets, which she wrapped up so beautiful! In total for these two bouquets, i spent $56. I think that is definitely worth it. I can also say they let me in on a secret - flowers are 50% off on Fridays! I would definitely come here to support locally and make your own bouquet for a special someone.

When we called to ask what happened, the woman insisted she had spoken with us and that we approved the change- this never happened. We checked our phone log and only had one missed call from the shop, no voicemail. She also kept saying, "But you ordered sympathy flowers and we made them Mother's Day flowers" as if that justified the change. It was for Mother's Day-we liked that particular arrangement and the box it came with. Realistically, I think they mixed us up with another customer, which would've been understandable. Mistakes happen. But her insistence that she spoke to my husband, so much so that he had to grab the phone and say to her that they did not speak and our call log clearly proving otherwise was frustrating and bizarre. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said the owner was having surgery, which felt like an attempt to make us feel guilty for escalating the issue. When we asked for a full refund, she said we'd have to bring the flowers back for that and that she could only offer a partial refund. At that point, it became clear she was not interested in making things right. We won't be ordering from here again-not because of the mix-up, but because of the employee's unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Mistakes happen, but a lack of integrity and willing to own a mistake is unacceptable.
