I placed the order online, scheduled pick up, and moved on with my life. Unfortunately, I received an email about 5 days before I was due to pick up the arrangement essentially advising that my selection was no longer available because the flowers wouldn't be in season the month of December. Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. The arrangement provided is gorgeous and makes the one I ordered from a large corporation just doesn't compare. Thank you to Heather and the Flowers & Fancies team for making it right. There was a lavender farm available for us to add lavender to our arrangements too. -They provided wine and other small chips and pretzels for us to snack on while we created our florals. - The non-alcoholic vendor was a nice touch for this class, as I don't drink. -The support and information prior to starting class was essential to get us started. However, this time we had a terrible experience. The arrangement was just OK. It was not nearly as creative and didn't exhibit the obvious care in choosing the plants when compared to the first. Fast forward to today, all the plants died except for a succulent. We went back to show the staff what had happened. We were told, well you overwatered. Didn't you notice we put it in a pot that didn't drain? What? Why would you make an arrangement and not put it in an appropriate container? The staff would not accept responsibility for their obvious error, offer any accommodation nor an apology. In our opinion this is NOT a way to treat customers nor stand behind what they sell. We will no longer recommend this establishment to others nor purchase anything in the future.

The woman I spoke with did not try to upsell me and informed me that they removed the premium option from online because to her the price difference isn't worth the few extra flowers. They were also willing to print out a picture of a cardinal which has special meaning and included that with my written message. Upon delivery, I was surprised to find a butterfly added to the bouquet at no additional cost and they also added a dog paw print to the written message to give it a special touch. Suhay's Little Shop is amazing and staff were kind and helpful during every step of the process. Would strongly recommend their shop to anyone in the market for flowers in the Clarksville area.

When I came out the sign was gone and the door was still locked and it's now 4:40pm. I am now clearly puzzled so waited around but then an elderly lady also came to door and it was locked and closed.
