This place serves the best Salvadoran food in the area! I've gone twice in one week for pupusas. Go here immediately!

Lynn Village Orchard is definitely a great little place to visit in the fall season to really get…read moreinto the spirit of autumn. There are so many activities to enjoy. I went during the weekend, and it was quite crowded, so if you don't like crowds, I would recommend going on a weekday, as there were lines everywhere, especially in the food areas. First of all, the burgers were really good; I highly recommend the smash burger, and it's affordable too. However, the blooming onions were disappointing lacking flavor and tasting simply like cooked oil. On the bright side, the Mexican street corn was great, and I was really happy with that. The beer garden had a nice selection, and I especially enjoyed the apple cider beer; it was definitely my favorite. For dessert, I tried the viral apple sauce and ice cream drink and the apple cider donut. I'm generally more of a savory person, but surprisingly it was so good that I drunk a lot of it. If you could only get one item, the warm apple cider donut is a must it's really delicious and perfect for colder weather. Now the apple cider it has no added sugar, and it was great so I happy about that. In regards to activities the hayride was short, but the one we choice it included a s'mores section that made it worth it. Overall, the food options had mostly hits with a few misses, but the atmosphere and drinks made up for it. I would definitely say it's worth paying the dollar for the playground, as the kids had a blast and loved every moment. The hay bales, monkey bars, and space to run around were great touches as well. Some kids in our group participated in apple blasting and loved it, and they thought the corn maze was fun too. One thing to note is that most activities require an additional fee, so be mindful of that. However, everything is relatively affordable. Overall, the experience was worth the cost, and the kids had a great time enjoying all the available activities at the playground. It's a perfect spot for families to spend a fun-filled day together without breaking the bank, and it could also make for a fun date night.

There's also a a market that sells freshly grown fruits, vegetables and local made goods. There's also a garden and gift shop selling a lot of the local artisan products. Lots of parking available around the main entrance area. We went early in the morning around 10am. We spent most of the first few hours walking around the zoo that had a huge chicken range, duck pond, cow, goats, sheep and horses. There are vending machine to buy corns to feed the animals. We had to get our own quarters as the coin exchange machine was broken. Around the noon we head to the Linvilla Grill. They had some good pizza and chicken tenders. There were few outdoor benched to dine. Price was little steep. The freshly squeezed lemonade was outrageous. They make the whole thing by grinding lemon right in front and put it in a huge plastic 32 oz jar. It is so worth for $8. We also bought some peaches and cooking sauces from the market. Cash is preferred, for credit card they charge fee at the market checkout.

I was sad until he was telling me all the great things he purchased and how tasty the food was. I decided to spend more money in hopes that it would be all that he said it was. Well...you were right, my dear coworker!! I ordered 5 meals and have been pleased. Love the boil in a bag. Drop in for 30 minutes and it's ready!! The slow cooker times range from 4-13 hours depending on what you've purchased. They've got a large variety to choose from and it's worth the cost. I ordered about 12 meals for $187. So I'm super happy. They come in portions, I usually order two and it's enough to feed a family of 3 with a leftover for one person for lunch.

Stumbled upon What A Croc and thought…read moreit was a great concept and we are all about supporting small business, so we decided to check it out. We chose the 2 servings Chicken Pot Pie Stew. I figured $22.00 ($11.00 per serving) to feed just my husband and I was reasonable, considering the high cost of most goods. As we were making our way to the counter, that's when the woman working there asked if we had ever tried these before. I told her it was our first time. She then asked me if I had a round crockpot or an oval one. I told her we had an oval one and she said "you need three servings then or else it will burn". I was taken back by her attitude and it didn't sit well with me. So I responded stating that 3 servings was too much for us and that we wanted 2. She kept insisting that we get 3 servings and then began schooling me on the science of evaporation from food in a crockpot. After going back and forth I got irritated and told her that we only need 2 servings and the more she pushed me I was going to put the bag back in the freezer and leave. She changed gears and grabbed crockpot liners and told me that if we use the oval crockpot to put the contents of the bag into the liner and tie it up and then place in crockpot. I told her I had liners at home. My question is this...why offer serving sizes if not all crockpots will cook the smaller portions properly? Also, if there was a simple solution such as the liner, why was she aggressively pushing us to buy 3 servings at a higher price? Not cool. We aren't idiots and we definitely do not appreciate being treated as such. We put the 2 servings in the oval crockpot without a liner and it didn't burn!! Imagine that! We weren't pleased with the meal either. It was bland, the potatoes had a strange texture and it had absolutely no flavor...even with adding salt and pepper. I would be willing to try another meal, however, if that employee represents how What A Croc does business, then I will pass.

Four stars... but first…read more.. I get the other reviewers' complaints, and I was definitely annoyed by the quarter deposit in a shopping cart. This is especially miserable when you have a toddler who will run everywhere if he's not strapped to something. As for the lack of means to gather your stuff, I just put it all in my reusable bags, and it worked nicely to get it around the store, and to checkout. No one bothered me about using them to carry stuff. As for paying for your shopping bags, I get the annoyance there too. But it's becoming more the thing to do, and at EVERY grocery store I went to in my last trip to Europe, you had to pay for your grocery bags. Plus, I already have my own reusable bags in my car at all times because I do them at Whole Foods. So for me, I just adjust. I am very aware of my grocery prices. I buy almost all organics / no dairy / no gluten. As mentioned, I shop at WF, as well as Trader Joe's, BJ's, Costco, Wegmans, and occasionally Giant and Acme. I will say that organics are not cheaper across the board, but I found a LOT of items that beat all the abovementioned stores' organic prices. For example, organic eggs are $1 cheaper per dozen than any of those other places. I got 4 doz!!! I visited on a Saturday evening both times, after my nearby silversmithing class. I didn't have problems waiting too long for checkout, but as others noted, there was only one lane open. My cashier was pretty nice both times, though. I needed help on the floor both times, and was able to find someone, and that someone was helpful both times. The second time I was there, there was milk spilled all over the whole store. IDK how this happened, but it was gross, and someone should have cleaned it. I took quite a while in there, to familiarize myself with all their organics, and take pics of prices, and at no point did anyone call for clean up, put a "piso mojado" sign down, nor break out the mop and clean it the eff up! So yes, it can be a little gross in ways. It's a discount store, though, and that's always how it goes. My experience with trying a BUNCH of their products has been good, so the quality for the money is fine with me. The "get what you pay for" part is in the ghettoness of the store, and the cheapness of the carts and bags. But if you can get over it, you'll probably like the experience. So my approach at Aldi is going to be to figure out my list of staples that beat the other places' prices, expect to stock up on those while here, know to expect a PiTA cartless situ with my wild toddler, and to always have my own bags. Set your expectations, prep yourself for the experience, and go for the savings to be had. If you don't buy the things they do offer cheaper, then it's probably not worthwhile, but for my diet, it is.
