I always love walking in!…read more Very grounding and calming. Love to just walk around & see what's new. Lounge area is almost ready! Had some fun sales! Will be back!

If you want more spirit & positive energy in your life you ought to pop into this soothing store…read morewith the nicest staff around. Good energy abounds! Located on the corner of Ina & River, it's a little hard to spot because it faces Ina. (Around the corner from Sprouts & Petsmart). Out front they've got a lovely display of high quality wind chimes to liven up your deck or yard. Then you go Inside & there is...EVERYTHING! When I don't know what to buy a friend or loved one, this is my first stop: jewelry, stones, gems, crystals, ornaments, instruments, incense, Buddha's, fun toys - all thoughtfully curated & displayed. Last time I was having an icky day/week/month, I went in & with their help, I found a polished blue lace agate & malachite bracelet that is of a superior quality & construction for under $35! I wear it every week. My adult kid's cool car charm came from here years ago & she still loves it. I sent a handmade scarf to a friend that is her favorite still. So many wonders to delight your inner child & to share with others. Tip: They've got a not-so-secret meditation room where you can sit quietly with the soles of your feet on a large piece of crystal to uplift you. A cool public space~~ And the people who work here? The best! They match the vibe of the place with their Spirits Child flavor of kindness. I've never experienced any pushy sales stuff as some other reviews have mentioned. TLDR: I love Spirits Child!

No idea how I've never stopped here before but what a find…read more The UNA Center is one of only three in the entire world which is pretty wild and it originally opened in 1975 near Grant before moving to the Speedway location in 2003. There's real history tied to UNICEF here and you can feel the purpose behind everything in the space. Fun fact UNICEF was originally created in 1946 to provide emergency food and healthcare to children after World War II and today it operates in over 190 countries. So many beautiful pieces and honestly the prices are great for what you're getting. It all supports a meaningful cause and the service was genuinely kind and helpful. I loved the woven baskets made from telecommunications wires from South Africa super unique and detailed. Also the incense cacao bars and singing bowls are so good I could have spent way too long browsing. There are pieces from all over the world and it really feels like a global collection rather than a typical shop. I ended up snagging a beautiful bracelet and a unique woven hat and already know I'll be back.

I greeted a staff member as I entered the store, and let her know I was just browsing. This shop…read morehas some beautiful internationally sourced items! However, as I waited at the counter for assistance, I was completely ignored by BOTH staff members who were engaged in a conversation with another shopper regarding her emotionally stunted cocker spaniels. I leaned in and made eye contact (who knew how long this dog-centered drivel would go on), yet, apparently, I remained not worth waiting upon. Both staff members acknowledged me as they wished me farewell (!) after I gave up and left the store empty handed; 'seemed purposefully rude by that point.
