Warehouse sale…read more.. The big deal is that it's not usually open to the public and when I saw Nadine C post of her discovery I just had to check it out for myself as I do love their items and don't we all use their gift bags at one celebration or a simple gift. Located right in Kalihi right beside the 7-Eleven they do have a few dedicated stall making it easy to swing by, as I've passed here numerous times and never knew it as here lol! The deal is amazing though it's a minimum of $50...okay I thought that I could do it though with many items that are dedicated for Christmas including their newest design of Spam Musubi all are just adorable but just too much for me. I circled around and really wanted a few items but realized that I won't make it unfortunately as this tiny shop is filled with so many items including all sizes of cellophane bags, gift bags, tags, gift card holders and even a clearance rack in the back. Loved seeing this place and very generous to introduce themselves with an open house and appreciate allowing us to view their inventory was something that I really enjoyed. Thank you!

The paper used is thicker and won't rip so easily! Go now before items get wiped out! Tip: I went in the afternoon when it wasn't crowded! Bonus: check out the clearance rack!

It just made me want to leave so badly...and I saw similar yelp reviews about this issue.

A Hidden Gem for Island-Inspired Treasures!…read more I absolutely love this store!!! Aloha Lane is packed with adorable island-themed finds. Whether you're hosting visitors from the mainland or simply want to infuse your home with some Hawaiian vibes, this is a must-visit spot. It's conveniently located on the ground level of the Ala Moana Shopping Center, near the food court entrance, outside in the parking garage. My wife and I originally stopped in to pick up a few goodies to mail to family in the mainland, but as soon as we stepped inside, I got completely distracted by all the beautiful items on display. Choosing what to buy was a real struggle because everything was just that cute! The store had two friendly sales associates up front, both welcoming and incredibly helpful. To top it off, they were running a 20% off sale, which was a wonderful surprise. When I asked how long the sale would last (thinking ahead to a possible second visit haha), they said there's currently no set end date - good to know! ;) Browsing thru the store brought back so many childhood memories. They had stunning glass honu (sea turtles) and dolphin figurines, wooden carved hula dancers, handmade quilts and handbags, beautiful picture frames, as well as both casual and designer-style dresses perfect for any occasion. The men's section was great too - I spotted Aloha shirts, hats, socks, and more. And of course, they also had plenty of fun magnets and Aloha State nameplate magnets to choose from. While I can understand how some people might find the prices a bit high, I personally felt everything was fairly priced considering the quality and uniqueness of the items. Many pieces felt like true keepsakes that you won't easily find elsewhere. If you're in Ala Moana and love Hawaii-style decor or need the perfect gift, definitely make time to stop by Aloha Lane - you won't regret it!

Isn't that what we grew up for though? So that we can be a big kid with big money to spend how we please now? At least a part of me feels that way because when I was a kid, I couldn't indulge in all of these items before. My heart sang when I saw Frieren, Harry Potter, SpongeBob, Howl's Moving Castle... and when I was about to leave, I spotted Super Mario snack bowls. I had to bring it home with me!!! As always, what do I say when I love a place so much? I'll be back.

It was great being able to walk through and explore all the different educational toys. The planetarium projector is what caught my eye and would make an awesome gift. To be honest, when I came in - it was mostly young adults shopping for themselves... and we were all on the hunt for the same thing. Unfortunately for us, the Sonny Angels were sold out and they did not have any information on when they would get in another shipment. They did have a tons of smiski and calico critters --- which I know a lot of people are collecting nowadays. The male employee even squeezed the adjustable butterfly mood ring to fit her tiny ring finger. Such a nice guy.
