Bad customer service and no communication. I requested a refund and never received my refund after learning I was unable to pickup my flower order on Saturday when they gave me the option to do so. Their website allows you to choose a time range of 3:30pm-6pm for order pickup on Saturday, however, they close at 3pm on Saturdays. GREAT customer service! My receiver wasn't home and instead of leaving the delivery they called me to ask what I would like to do. The flowers looked really pretty, although, it looked smaller in comparison to their sample photo online. Otherwise, overall good and will order from again Delivery fee is VERY reasonable. I say that because another florist in Sparks was going to charge me $25 which I find exorbitant. Any delivery fee more than $12-13 is just ridiculous in my opinion. read more

I unfortunately had an experience where I was under the impression that I'd be getting a bouquet that looked similar to the one I referenced in their display case. I paid 50 plus for them and booked it 2 weeks in advance for pick up. I've done their delivery service before and it's great! When I went to pick these flowers there was discussion about different flowers being in the bouquet and they weren't. On top of that it was in the wrong size when I picked it up and I told them, they fixed it. For some carnations and tiny lilies with greenery without the other flowers we discussed, I'm a little upset because I could have went to Trader Joe's, bought them, and put them in a nicer vase. I take blame because I should have had it in writing and took photos for documentation purposes and made it a bigger deal with how I felt, but I was on my lunch and in a hurry. They are a nice company and do great on selling their products but the execution was not what I was expecting. Next time I'll do it myself. read more

Ordered an "Exquisite Standing Spray - Deluxe" for my brother-in-law's funeral. I had placed the order online and afterwards, called to have a ribbon with my family's name on and paid for it. The spray was delivered in a timely manner to the correct location. I was disappointed when I saw the spray for a number of reasons. First, the stand was obviously quite short, especially in comparison to sprays ordered by other families from a different florist. Second, the spray was not as full as the picture on the website. Third, the ribbon with my family's name was so thin that you couldn't even read it, again, especially in comparison to the ribbons on the other sprays - if you notice, those ribbons were wider with larger letters, making the letters more prominent and easier to read. Needless to say, I am not ordering from this florist again and wouldn't recommend them. ***Originally gave this florist 2 stars, but changed it to 1 star because of the shop's response to my review. While the response CONFIRMED that the shop fulfilled the order, it did not set forth any reason that would persuade me to change my mind. In fact, as mentioned above, the response caused me to change from 2 stars to 1. I've worked for businesses that use services such as the one through which I ordered, and customers who ordered through such a service weren't treated any different from others. The whole point of using such a service is to attract new customers with the goal of having them as RETURN customers. But I guess with this shop, they want you to go to a REAL florist and not use the same service that they signed up with. ??? Non-sensical, but okay...I guess.??? In addition, how do you fix an issue when you don't see the flower arrangement until it is delivered on the day of the funeral? They have ev r rything and anything you would need for an occasion that requires flowers. I stopped in to purchase a funeral arrangement, and they could not have been more helpful. They were not pushy, but helpful and guided me through the whole process. It is easy to order flowers on line, and it will be probably cheaper, but when you buy at a local shop it helps support the local economy and the people working there stay busy, which means job security. We used Amy's flowers for my grandmas departure and they seemed to be spot on with everything. When they were recommended for a family members wedding, the story dramatically changes. I am the one that got married and I told my wedding planner to go through them. My wedding planner told me after the wedding of the treatment that was given. The florist used dead and or dying flowers, the treatment of wedding planner and florist was near nothing (due to the incompetence of the florist), the decaying flowers were over priced, what was ordered was not delivered, and they were late on delivery of everything. When you spend over 2 thousand dollars on flowers you expect some decency of some sort. My father even recommended these jokers. I WILL NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. I should have went with my first choice to begin with. read more

I spoke with Heaven, but the owner, Glenda was in the background, responding to many of my questions the entire conversation because Heaven was not sure and responded with these words when I asked her questions about what type/color of flowers they had available because I was ordering a floral arrangement for a man. On two occassions when I inquired about a specific flower she placed me on hold while she checked their inventory. I checked my phone log. We had a 25 minute conversation to place my order. I ordered a floral arrangement and a gourmet fruit basket for my son. I paid for a specific floral design. I requested 6 red roses, based on the photo of the floral arrangment my son sent to me, it looks like there was 2 or 3 red roses and several white roses! I did not request white roese. I requested no ribbon or bow be included with the floral arrangement. There was a lace white ribbon and a grayish blue ribbon tied in a bow around the rim of the vase. I requested a green astroemaria flower along with statice. Statice was used but not the astroemaria. I did not request baby's-breath in fact I told Heaven no baby's-breath. I paid $119.99 plus tax for the floral arrangement and $121.99 plus tax for the gourmet fruit basket. I received 4 photots of the fruit basket but no photos of the floral arrangement. I thought that was odd. Now I know why. When I order floral arrangements I always contact a local florist in the city where the flowers will be delivered, rather than rely on FTD or some other mass florist. I am very disappointed. read more

Because Amy's Flowers does not deliver to my mom's town, she forwarded the order to another shop. Anna was very nice and was also embarrassed of the arrangement as it does not reflect the quality of her work. Had I known my order would be placed with an alternate shop (Flowers by Mario), I would've chosen to do something else with my money. She did offer to have the florist retrieve the flowers and re-do the work, but I declined. They didn't get it right the first two times, I didn't want my parents being bothered with trying to fix things with try #3. At the end of the day, I absolutely did not get what I paid ($100) for. Make sure to confirm that the arrangement you're paying for is indeed coming from Amy's Flowers directly. It looks like she does really nice work. read more
