I get anxious ordering flowers from a florist I don't know, especially from out of the area. Flowers are such a reflection of personal style, and one person's idea of beautiful can be completely different from someone else's. And with what flowers cost these days, you really want them to be right. My best friend's mom passed away that morning, and I wanted to send her something beautiful to brighten an incredibly difficult day. Nothing on the website was exactly the style I had in mind, so I called and spoke with Percy. I tried to explain what I wanted--soft garden elegant, stylish, beautiful flowers and absolutely no arrangement overloaded with filler. I'm very picky, and Percy listened carefully and was incredibly kind and caring. After placing the order, I actually came across another florist's website that was more representative of the style I had envisioned and started worrying that I had made the wrong choice. I emailed Percy with a little more direction and some examples of what I meant. She responded right away and completely understood. The arrangement was delivered the same day, and they even sent me a photo beforehand. It was beautiful--exactly the look and style I had hoped for. More importantly, it was something I felt good about sending to my friend at such a difficult time. Percy was wonderful from beginning to end. The parking was very convenient and easy to find. I was greeted promptly and when I explained I was there with the flower card the lady was extremely helpful in explaining how it works/what to expect as well as how to care properly for the flowers. I had no idea this was a family owned local business when it popped up online! I made the right decision in who I picked for my floral arrangement. As a woman I've never gotten flowers for another woman and I have to say I was especially nervous since the flowers I'm sending are going to The World Famous Mustang Ranch where the ladies are treated like goddesses. Wow! Sparks was recommended to me by a friend that lives in Reno and I'm so glad he did. The women who took my order could not have been nicer or more helpful. She asked what I was looking for and when I told it was someone with Reno Rodeo, she gave me her suggestion that a western feel with sunflowers might be a nice fit. The recipient wasn't home, so the deliveryman called and ask if she was somewhere in the city that he could deliver them to as he was nervous leaving them outside on her porch.
