Some of the best Chinese food we've had. Ordered enough for 7, one thing from every meat category and one app. The food was all perfect without being greasy or soggy. Broccoli beef was everything I've always thought it should be but wasn't every where else I've tried it. Flavorful without being soggy, too salty, or over sauced. Tender beef with perfectly cooked broccoli, no "gloop" factor with the sauce. Walnut prawns were huge and tasty, sweet and sour pork was perfectly cooked. Amy's is the best (and most consistent) spot for Chinese cuisine in town. Look, Im not going to sit here and make up subjective filler about how authentic the food is or isnt, and I will tell you that I've been a regular of this place for the few years that it's been open. I say this incase you are looking for a long term reflections as opposed to the one shot whining/praising based on the one hectic weekday lunch service you see in some of these other reviews. Now, I love the food. I would go to this place for the Black Pepper beef and the Pot Stickers alone. However, you might actually enjoy taking a chance on something you've never had before. These days I usually order delivery...because Im lazy. Amys has the easiest online system for ordering your food, and its prompt even during a rush! If you order the same thing for a year, guess what...it tastes just as amazing everytime you order it. They care about getting your food right. Mike (who im pretty sure runs the place) will even call you to see if you want shrimp shells removed...for the low price of f@#$ing free!! You always get free crab puffs or egg rolls, because I think they stash as much generosity in the back as they do soy sauce and chop sticks. The Amy's staff is friendly, love to talk about sports, facilitates amazing food, and cares about setting themselves apart from the other Chinese joints in town that to me all swim around in a relative second place. I saw this place had a bunch of good reviews so I wanted to give it a try but maybe I just ordered the wrong things. My favorite soup is Hot and Sour Soup so I usually judge a place by how their soup is. It was neither hot/spicy or seemed fresh. That was disappointing. I also ordered the singapore noodles. Good singapore noodles have a good amount of curry. This was lacking. I'll probably give this place a second chance but order other items. read more

Friendly service. They gave me a free appetizer for my first visit. Food was typical and of good quality but with nothing to differentiate from most of Sonoma County's Chinese food. This is the best Chinese in the RP area, without a doubt. Like anyplace with a big menu it's somewhat hit or miss. Personally I can vouch for the clay pot offerings as well as the salt and pepper fish. Vegetables are of good quality and service has always been good. On my way to Clear Lake I encountered heavy traffic and wanted some Chinese for lunch, Yelp did not disappoint and neither did Amy's. I like it so much that I picked up some extra food for dinner. So it's rare I give 5 star rating. But we went to amys Chinese kitchen a couple Fridays ago. It was raining so alot of take out orders going on,but we were greeted so nicely ,given great hot tea, they are never pushy here which is nice. We ordered soups and 3 entrees. One of the soups is cooked to order and would take a little bit longer they apologized gave us free little spring rolls we were not in any hurry but that was so nice. Service was very welcoming and they were all super sweet! Order three things. Their combination chow mein was good. Their honey walnut prawn was great! But their mongolian beef wasn't good.. tasted way too over cooked. But they did give us complimentary egg rolls which was pretty cool. I really wanna try their crab puffs next time tho. Fantastic Food. I have been waiting for a good chinese restaurant to come to the area. We ordered the crab puffs, pot stickers, egg rolls, pork buns, prawns orange chicken, beef chow fun, Chow main with no veggies, and pork fried rice.
