I have only visited the Panda Express when I am in a mall and they are hading out either Bourbon or Honey Chicken. I will say that it is always delicious. We were looking for a fast place to grab a meal that did not involve either 'In 'n Out' or 'Chick Fil A.' (also among my favorites.) We came here which was conveniently located less than a mile from our hotel and located in a shopping center. A quick drive and very easy parking. Quite frankly I was pretty amazed at the amount of food that they had displayed and the pricing. Lots and lots of selections and very reasonable prices. I definitely like the idea that my wife and I could get what they call "a bowl" of food. That's one dish and some rice. Even that small portion was a large ridiculous amount of food. Clearly the motto here is that no one goes home hungry, The customer service here was wonderful and the team really works to maintain the positive customer experience. You can see the positive experience by the amount of people coming in, and standing on line. Some people took out others ate it. Either way... it was busy! I am more than a little surprised at the one star customer reviews. Are we talking about the same place here? Did you have a bad day and decide to take it out on this team who all work so hard? Everyone else gives it four and five stars... they deserve them! KUDOs to the team at Panda Express. read more

Got my usual lunch order, nothing was wrong, it just tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. Needless to say I ate it all as it was a late lunch. The service was good, friendly and didn't hesitate to accommodate me wanting half steamed rice and half chow mein. read more

Panda Express - Honey Walnut Shrimp and Orange Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Rohnert Park, California

I'm a regular customer at this Panda Express and usually come two or three times a week because I live nearby. I have to say that the food is delicious, but unfortunately, the customer service has become a serious problem. I have had several uncomfortable experiences with a team member named Samantha, who is usually working at the front serving customers. Her attitude is consistently rude and aggressive. She rarely smiles or welcomes customers, and the way she handles the food often comes across as frustrated or even angry. I have personally seen her throw food into the containers while serving. What concerns me the most is that this does not seem to be directed only toward me. I have witnessed the same behavior toward the customer ahead of me and toward other customers waiting behind me. Whenever someone asks for a particular type of meat or vegetables, she often appears visibly annoyed or upset. As a regular customer, I find this very disappointing. I understand that working in customer service can be stressful, but customers should not feel uncomfortable simply for ordering and asking for the food they want. We pay for our meals, take the time to drive to the location, and deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. On my most recent visit, the interaction was so unpleasant that it completely ruined my meal. I actually lost my appetite and could not finish eating. I can only imagine how many other customers may have had a similar experience. I work as an assistant manager at a café, and in my workplace, we understand that a friendly welcome, a respectful attitude, and good customer service are essential when working directly with customers. I believe the same standard should apply here. Again, the food is very good, but the service needs serious improvement. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because a consistently negative attitude at the front counter can have a significant impact on the customer experience. read more

Super small portions, ordered the new limited time item and had to google afterwards to see why it wasn't particularly spicy. Apparently there's a free sauce they include automatically if you order online but in person they make no mention of it and you have to actively ask to be given one. How are customers supposed to know to ask for a sauce that the employees don't even mention? 5 lumps of chicken is apparently an entree in one of their $12 bowls. I think it's bad management at this particular location because the portions seem alright over at the Santa Rosa one on Stony point. Glad they're not trained to mention the sauce at all to customers, very convenient that the app orders get it by default and walk-in customers have no idea it even exists. Called the manager to ask about it and they said "yep, make sure you ask next time" as though I'm coming back. read more

Service, excellent. The staff here works very hard... especially team member Maria! She set us up with the app and made sure we received our first discount! She's personable and knowledgeable and made sure we had excellent service and food! read more

Picked up some food while on a long drive. Opted for taking it to go by ordering inside. Bigger plate for myself - veggies, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli. For Panda Express, I was actually impressed. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Walnut shrimp was the same. Nothing seemed overcooked or oversteemed from the warmer. Staff member serving the food was enthusiastic and friendly. I do find that Panda Express' veggies are always too garlicky, like in a raw garlic type of way, and it was the same this time, which I wasn't a fan of. read more

Portions are so small omg, I go panda 2x a week. It's really bad compared to all the other panda expresses I go to

This Panda is the freshest, fast, and delicious. I travel to San Francisco twice a week and sometimes get panda along the way and it's been dry and gross and unedible. Our RP Panda Express is above and beyond great!! Even when I order delivery it is so fresh, full orders, delicious food! The restaurant is clean and well kept. Service is good for as busy as it gets! Great teamwork for sure. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. An obese woman with trashy lashes burped in my face and just stared at me when I approached the counter to pick up my online order. Did not say one word, just burped and stared at me. Had to ask three separate times before, so could turn around and grab my order. Did not say one word throughout the entire interaction, just stared at me. No greeting just looked me up and down and then burped. Weirdest experience I have ever had with fast food, don't go on Sundays around seven or you will run into this chubster read more

This Panda Express is honestly much cleaner than the one back home, don't understand a bunch of the one star reviews. The service is quick, it's clear the staff work well and efficiently together, the food is what you should expect to get at a Panda Express, and everything was well stocked, both the counters and the bathrooms. Kudos to the Friday night shift employees when my family of 8 walked in and was then followed by the dinner rush. They didn't flinch whatsoever and got us all through! read more

I really like Panda Express food, one will think all the franchises are the same, but they are not. This specific Panda Express in Rohnert Park is well taken care of. It's always clean and the food always looks fresh. They refill the containers of food often. The staff there is also very helpful, fast. Their line of work is a well oiled machine. One person takes the order, the next one gives you your entrees and the last one charges you. If you are picking up food, they have it ready and it's easy to pick up from there. I have done it during lunch time and I hardly have to wait. The lines of people in the afternoon- dinner time are long sometimes, but their procedure to serve food has gotten so good that the wait times are reasonable. read more

Went in with my son who has a shellfish allergy & I clearly & specifically told the employee working there(Samantha) & she still put the shrimp on the same plate as my sons food & when I asked her to remake it so that my son won't go into anaphylactic shock she rolled her eyes & gave me attitude & I am 95% sure I saw her spit in his food. Will never be going back again and the managers need to do a better job of hiring people who actually know how customer service works!! Never in my life have I ever experienced this amount of incompetence and disrespect over a plate of food & we will never be going back to that location again! read more

Great food. I've ordered online from there many times with no issues. Tonight, my order was accidentally swapped with one belonging to someone who had the same name as me (one letter off). After receiving the wrong order, I called the restaurant and the manager there, Brian, apologized and decided to drive my order to me personally since it was on his way home and he was already clocking out. There was super heavy rain and flooding today too. I just wanted to rave about how cool that was for a sec. Outstanding service . Thank you, Brian! read more

Was so very surprised that they no longer provide hot mustard ! Normally very good spring rolls missing a lot without some hot mustard mixed in sweet and sour. Why no more mustard? I easily would have taken the mustard in exchange of the 2 chili sauce and 2 soy sauce packets that I did not ask for and only threw away! Also I watched as the server added mushroom chicken to my rice bowl - the scoop was maybe a tad bigger than 1/2 the scoop. Seriously, 7 1/2" cubes of zucchini, 8 small slices of mushroom, and 6 pieces of chicken - all in all about 8 bites of the mushroom chicken mixture. This was my go to for an average 3 times per week. Prior to covid, they give you a good amount of food. Now you're paying more and less food. The guy serving chowmein or rice actually scooped out chowmein on the order in front of me and ended up less food. And that said less on mine, too. Less on the entree as well. I've been a customer for a long time. Whenever running late for dinner, I'll grab panda. I'm very disappointed. We're all paying good money for less food.
